Mii Fighters amiibo Triple Pack to Arrive as Toys "R" Us Exclusive in North America on 1st November

I do not want to be store hunting.

The problem with store exclusives, especially ToysRUs is their limited locations. I live in a city of 100,000 and it is 40 minutes to the closest store.

Darn, I saw "Mega" in "Mega Yarn Yoshi" and thought they were reprinting Mega Man. I held off on buying him and DK in favor of some rarer ones, but then Nintendo apparently went and discontinued 'em on me. The jerks.

I am going to keep my dignity, show some self restraint and quietly pass on these..... I did pre-order Falco. And I want KK Slider, who is also in a three pack.

When is Ryu supposed to release? The wait is killing me!!

I'm ok w/ no new Ninntedo Directs, in fact I would prefer they don't do anymore b/c it was Iwata's thing, but NOA should be announcing these things before the store. Twitter, FB, Instagram, I don't care, b/c I know this website will cover it, but if Nintneod is going to be giving exclusives to all these stores I think they should be the ones to let us know, not the retailors.

Also, if Nintnod would announce it first we wouldn't need all the duplicate posts, once when the retailer "announces" it, then again when Nintnedo "confirms" it. I'm pretty sure if Nintnedo told us first we wouldn't need retailer confirmation.

Not about the article itself but...It's hard to be a Nintendo fan this year, I'd own a new 3ds and a Wii U, and every single console from Nintendo too. And I look for Nintendo stuff, almost everyday on internet. But this year there was NOTHING really good to play and to look foward, yeah MH4U, Mario Maker, Splatoon and Devil Survivor 2 but it was a pathetic weak year, and even the news are boring! Just look at Nintendo's life mainpage "amiibo stock", "some indie" "a delay or cancelation" and the only interesting stuff are articles about old games like pokemon and mario memories. And no it's not theirs fault, it's just a very boring year to Nintendo.

My point? I don't know, I just wanna talk about it with other Nintendo fans. =/

I live five minutes from a Toys R Us, but can empathize with those who don't have easy access to one. My home doesn't have a Target, so every exclusive they get becomes a headache for me. Amiibo are already region-free, they should also be exclusive-free.

Wake me up when there's a Roy amiibo.

It's an exclusive in the US. not Canada. I really wish you would stop saying North America when it only concerns the US.

Meh, won't be getting these. I'm still holding out hope to be able to find some Fire Emblem figures before Fates launches.

Pass. I don't like the default Mii looks. Now if they had custom Mii to look more like well... me for example, I'll pay the same 3-pack price, maybe more just for one.

On a slightly related note, GameStop still have the exclusive retro 3-pack so hopefully Toysrus take a hint from them.

The nearest Toys "R" Us is almost a 2 hour drive from my house. It's just not worth it for me. I don't really care about the mii's but I did want a Villager. I don't really like all of the retailer exclusives.

I think it is safe to say that Nintendo got their two amiibos out of me. Disney Infinity will probably get a few more Star Wars figures, but outside of that I am more or less done with toys to life.

There's only one thing I despise concerning amiibo. The dreaded "in store only".

I don't do in store. I only need the 3 pack because I have everything else and got Mega preordered through Amazon IT already. So I'll have someone pick me one up or something.

Well maybe the amiibo 3 pack wont be a TRU exclusive very long. I remember Lucario being the same, but I just got back from BestBuy and I picked up Capt. Falcon, Lucario, Greninja, and Dark Pit.

@DarkCia No, I'd remember, but and I want Xenoblade a LOT, but Fatal Frame with no physical release is just sad. But just look at PS4, everymonth you have at least 2 games to look foward, I'm really sad with Nintendo this year. Let's pray for a great 2016 (which already looks better with Fire Emblem, Bravely Second and Project X Zone 2)

The triple pack of these are a good idea. Good for those who want all three and don't want to buy separate and go hunting. I wonder what games these will end up working with other than Smash.

Probably the only amiibo I have not even the slightest desire to own, well and palutena but that's because her face is creepy looking.

In the Netherlands there's quite the stock of single mii fighters available in my local game store. Duck hunt and mister set m match too. I'm just not so fond of ssb, I'm probably too slow.

@Captain_Gonru I really wouldn't mind a Nintendo News app. It could use the N64 N as it's icon. When you open it it lists NOA twitter, FB and their main webpage news announcements. I think "aggregate' is the word. Basically like this, but it would only have official Nintendo announcements, not all the rumours and such. Of course that means Nintnedo would need to update those things on their own. Does Nintneod even have a good news portal? I used the Sony US blog on a daily basis before I started getting all my news from Sammy over at Pushsquare.

It's got a nice retro Prodigy vibe going, but it's a good place to go for Sony news.

So yeah I'm a bit of a douche, but Ntineod could do a better job w/ news dispersal. It also bothers me that half the Nintendo official news on here never has a link, just some obscure "news release" that Nintendo puts out, I think by fax. I like links.

Dude it was crazy.

I get off work and head to BestBuy to pick up both copies of Legend of Legacy and grab Mario Maker for my brothers birthday. Drive home, have my dad take me to pick up my car at the mechanic. Drive to the post office and mail out some packages I sold, come home to a MOUNTAIN of stuff in the mail.

The PS4 is for @sinalefa and the Mario Maker is for my brother.

Still, it took me 2 hours to get everything unwrapped and set up, games installed with updates, etc

@JaxonH No actual amiibo, how'd that happen? Your brother got SSM but Sin got a PS4, that doesn't seem fair? Should have at least got your brother the XCX collectors ed. I need to get FFX again someday, X-2 was just so bad. Maybe PS5 will uprez PS2 discs. Well if it even has a disc slot and everything isn't DL only by then. Well at least you spent your 2 hours well. I spent over 3 hours simply downloading and installing Disney Infinity 3.0 on Wii U, aaron said he had a similar long wait. Ninnteod might not be ready for DL only quite yet, though they do have pre-order DL which is nice, I'll give them that and end on a happy note.

Well, Sina is paying for his PS4, and my brothers gift is on me. Plus I gave him Splatoon yesterday, and he gets an 8-bit Classic Mario Amiibo with Mario Maker.

I'd have loved to get him XCX, but his birthday was 4 days ago, and he's already got it preordered. He doesn't buy many Nintendo games, but that is one game he's really hyped for.

With FFX, already have and beat Vita version. But I wanted on PS4. And since BB put it on sale for $29.99 ($23.99 with GCU), I figured it was time to pounce.

I hope to be able to get the Mii fighters and Villager at my local store. Bowser JR. wasn't anywhere in sight, so I'm a little worried.

Sorry, I was just giving you a hard time about the gifts, I kind of assumed you had something going on w/ Sina, and your brother has great taste in games, he wasn't going to skip XCX if he had a Wii U for SMM. No reason not to. Switching your Xenoblade X CE to BB alone will save you $20 with GCU. That nearly pays for the entire 2 year membership. Can grab Falco amiibo for $10.39 while you're at it.
