I don't get the complaints about it being overpriced, seems pretty reasonable to me 🤷‍♂️ yes it's an old game but a lot of work has still been done under the hood to get it working on the Switch. I've never played this amazing game so cannot wait to pick it up. I was waiting for the performance reviews to see how it stacked up so I'm pleased it's running like it should, will pick it up for the weekend I think

@XiaoShao fair enough, I do miss the old PC game boxes made from cardboard, they were massive and came with a nice thick satisfying instruction manual. I unfortunately haven't paid too much attention to boxart since those glory days

It's strange, for a book all about boxart influencing your purchase, the cover art of the book is having a negative effect 🤷‍♂️🤣

Art style looks amazing, better than the actual mainline series for me. Will need to watch this when I get a spare 10mins

I was skeptical of this but I'm coming round, it does look pretty good. Only problem is the £55 price tag on it, it's a tad steep, so I might wait for the first sale on it IF it gets a decent review

I'm not an American Football fan but this game looks amazing, I might give this a go. Last one I played was on the Atari ST some 30yrs ago, my dad used to watch it so vaguely got into it for a few months in my early teens

@Megame it's hardly greed, they are a company and want to make a profit, just like every company in the world! Granted it's an old game but it's on a new system and significant work has been done to get it working on a system that in theory it has no right working on.
People expecting things for free or cheap are deluded, just wait for the sale if you think it's too expensive!

I must be their main demographic, I have a Switch as my sole console and have never played RDR, I also play solely in solo so don't care if that they've removed multiplayer. The price seems perfect for this amazing port.
Those calling it a lazy port, too expensive, having no additional features etc, all seem to have played it already or have other systems they can get it on!
You can never please everyone all of the time, but heck, I'm as chuffed as chuffed can be!

Another Presents goes by with no Pokémon Pinball for Switch, it's wide screen is crying out for a remake of this often forgotten about game

A lot of people might just have a Switch and haven't been able to play this, I include myself in this group. So calls of it being a lazy port is daft, I'm looking forward to playing as I don't have any other consoles, they call it a lazy port, I just call it a port!

@CharlieGirl is 2016 Doom3? Haven't played Doom since I had it on my old Pentium3 PC 🤣 Need to dip my toe back into it and at these prices it's hard to turn down

@DiamondJim very true, the issues with S/V have sullied my love of the Pokemon franchise, they just don't seem to care too much about the people that buy it. But don't get me wrong, I bought S/V on day 1 and loved it, but deep down it was full of things that let it down. I'm not even going to bother with the DLC for it, unless they suddenly decide to fix it completely

@Stnkygrngo the 2008 version of Power Pros on the DS with the MLB license was pretty awesome, play the every now and again to get my fix 🤣

I've sunk far too many hours on MLB The Show 23, and would love to see Konami release this for the Western market. I can understand the hate towards baseball games, it's not for everyone, but personally I find them nice and relaxing.
What I can't understand is why people click on a game or genre they don't like, just to hate on it?? 🤷‍♂️

So what exactly was stopping them before?? Surely FIFA weren't the ones telling EA to neglect the Switch platform and just update the roster, so why the shift. I will stay skeptical on this one

SV is perfect the way it is, if the days were any longer then the pressure to get things done would be redundant. Besides I play in a chilled way, I don't strive for perfect crops or to have everyone talked to.
It's a game you can play anyway you want which is amazing. First few times I just did simple farming and did the community centre, then in my most recent play through I talked to everyone and found out their stories, hated Shane at first but then once I got to know him 😓
It's a game that just keeps giving, hoping the new update allows for mods to be available on the Switch as want to try the Expanded mod

Picked up a cheap version of Dragon Quest Builders 2, played the demo and loved it but always had other things to play. It finally got to the top of my backlog 🤣

It looks good, but I'll wait for a review before deciding. It shows promise

@Darknyht I get the EA Sports bit, which is essentially their company name, so game would be just "FC 24" which sounds weirder 🤣
I'm sure they'll largely ignore the Switch by releasing a half baked legacy release, I'll wait for an honest review on this website and a very heavy discount before even considering it

My bet is that it's exactly the same game, without the FIFA name, and the Switch version a big pile of steaming poo just like the previous versions. I doubt EA listen to their consumers, they haven't for years, so I doubt they'll start just because the have new name. Which I must say is really daft, Sports?? It's football, call it football!

I was torn between this and Wonderful Life and went for this as the the whole feel of the game seemed more suited. It is good and the 6 seems fair, but think it could maybe a 7 or 8 with a patch to fix it up. The look and feel of the game is great, just let down a bit by some of the mechanics

Never played a Pikmin game before and I'm liking it, kinda slow going but sure it'll pick up.
Just wondering though, is it set on Earth with humans, seems to be an alien planet but in an Earth like environment, the house is clearly designed for humanlike beings 🤔

loved this game on the DS, for me it was a better strategy game than Advance Wars. A marvellous mix of strategy and puzzle and was perfect for the Dual screen.
Might get this on sale as its a bit pricey for a game that I can play on my 3DS

I'll be getting this on Switch when it comes out, loved Portia and keeping everything crossed that they are able to improve on that severely underated game 🤞🤞🤞

Haven't played for a while because the last patch apparently caused loads of crashes and they seemingly never released 4.2.3 (I think) and now theres another?? Will have to check back into this game as it is a fantastic game when it works
