Been playing it a bit on the Steam Deck and loving it. Fantastic game and stays true to the original. Would've got it on Switch but couldn't wait and had to get the Deluxe on Steam 🤣Should still run fine on Switch I think
@darkfenrir I'm getting it for the Steam Deck, if it doesn't work then I'll get a refund for it. Steam are great and quick at refunding if it doesn't work, or even if you just don't like it
@k8sMum Fields of Mistria does look amazing, been tempted by it, but after getting a Steam Deck I've been able to play Stardew 1.6 on it and I'm loving it. Might pick up Mistria but also interested in Coral Island
Loved it on the Switch and sunk many hours into it, but have since got a Steam Deck and my word it's so much better. Pretty sure some of the graphics stuff won't make it to the Switch but sure it'll still be great. Great game but totally get the boredom that can kick in with it, but as a sandbox game it's awesome
Got it day 1 and do like it but it takes some getting used to. It's either ridiculously easy or I get battered after having 2 or 3 players sent off. Also the opposition keeper keeps playing a long ball all the way to their striker from a goal kick for them to score far to often! 🙄 And how the heck do you head the ball 🤣 But yeah 7/10 seems fair
Loved the vertical cam on it and hate that it's gone with the horizontal but it does look like there's an option going by the video. Still tempted to get it but also had the caricatures in the corner of the screen, price seems quite steep too 🤔
I'd love more Mario movies but whilst the games are fantastic, the plotlines are fairly bland and all about the graphics and a catchy play dynamic which would struggle to transfer to the big screen. But would still want more!
Such a shame, been picking up hermit crabs from rock pools in Ibiza and constantly thinking how I might get this game. Love hermit crabs 🥰 Might still pick it up because it looks awesome
@JackieCMarlow true, that would be the dream, I'd take a similar situation like the Skyrim anniversary edition where you can just add set mods on if you want
@CarSickKitty Seconded! I love the game but the time needs the be slower, I want time to do my farming and talk to everyone without the stress. I end up trying prioritise one over the other which never works 🫨
@_Figo_ I keep wondering when we'll hear news of that too, guessing since they had so many issues with the release of Sandrock that any work on Portia could pushed
Why give this game time to be patched?? It didn't stop them giving My Time at Sandrock a bad score that sounds like it's been patched up. If you wait for this to be fixed then re-review patched up games, simple
@Poodlestargenerica a sandbox Lego with building and farming would be ideal. Think DQB2 is my best option, Lego World seems to suffer with controls and performance and Lego Fortnite doesn't have the offline mode. But for my Lego fix, I'm tempted by Skywalker Saga
Might have to give it another spin now it has longer days as there was just far too much to cram into a day. Which is one thing I wish they'd bring to Stardew Valley. The quick days properly kill the cozy vibes
I understand the criticism levelled at Pokémon SV, but this type of quality is mind blowing on the Switch. I think people need to rein in their expectations as to what the Switch can do, cuts need to made somewhere! This game looks awesome, but I will be waiting for a sale on it
@RupeeClock gave me a good way to see if I'd like it. Pretty decent on the Switch but just think I'd get bored with it after a while, will make the most of the trial period whilst it's live
recently tried this on my phone to see what all the fuss, it was free so why not. While not great, it does seem like a time sink, something you can just play for 10-15mins on a break at work and the time will just disappear. I hate games on touch screen but get by sometimes, but was looking into buying this since it was quite cheap. Will be able to give it a proper blast to see if I'll use my spare gold coins on it
I will be starting a new save when 1.6 comes out but I really want the option to slow time. Definitely need more time in the day to do everything, especially if he's adding more events and locations, sometimes feel rushed which takes away the coziness of it all
Sunk about 200hrs into The Show 23, really loved it. But I'll have to pass on this one (for now at least) as I still need to binge through all the Diamond Dynasty tasks I missed
I find it baffling that Switch gets No Mans Sky updates sometimes 3weeks after other consoles because it needs to pass through Nintendo's quality control, yet they happily release a whole heap of shovelware without batting an eyelid!? Insane!
It's a perfect match, love the Picross series but the puzzles get a bit repetitive sometimes so it'll be nice to have a SoS theme. At that price, it's a day one purchase
I understand why people don't like it, but the repetitive grind loop of this game is perfect for me. It's a great game that I can play for a few hours or just for 5mins between work. I can't get enough of this game ♥️
I'll be waiting for a patch and sale on for this, was really looking forward to this but got turned off by the performance and poor review. Why give the reviewers such an old release?? Though I'm sure I've seen gameplay after it was released and it still looked awful... 🤔 Hope the SwitchUp guys do an All Patched Up video on this.
Pleeeeease be good, loved the 3DS version and have been waiting for this. This will be an instant day 1 purchase, the mechanics for the original are perfect for me, perfectly balanced
The voices in Mario Wonder are great but it's just the odd Wahoo or Let's a Go, wish they had full voice acting. Though I know I'd still just end up skipping what the Poplins say 🤣

Re: Sociable Soccer 24 Finally Kicks Off On Switch In June
@john_lennon999 I've got retroarch on a hacked PS Vita, and SWOS is pretty decent on a handheld. Highly recommend it if you can get it working

Re: Save Up To 75% On eShop Indie Hits In Humble Games' Anniversary Sale (North America)
Why do they have a screenshot of Coral Island when it's not even out on Switch?
Re: Chris Pratt Expects "Lots" Of Mario And Nintendo Movies Over The Next Decade

@ChaosAzeroth some people get their news from sites such as this rather than social media though, me included

Re: Stardew Valley Adds 40 New Mine Layouts In Latest Update, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Bring on the cozy Farming Sims! And hopefully a demo for Fantasy Life 🤞🤞and an update on Stardew Valley 1.6

MLB The Show twenty-poor... Sorry, I'll shut the door behind me... 🤣

Re: LEGO Fortnite Adds Vehicle Building In New 'Mechanical Mayhem' Update
@nhSnork is that any good, gets pretty low scores
Re: LEGO Fortnite Adds Vehicle Building In New 'Mechanical Mayhem' Update
It would be great as a standalone game, I also wish it had an offline option as I just want to play alone and not have to connect
Re: Players Are Having Major Issues With MLB The Show 24 On Switch
I just stuck with The Show 23 which works fine, I'm happy to plod on with an out dated roster because 23 worked perfectly

Pokémon Pinball updated for Switch, I would prefer that over a mainline game

This better be worth the long delay, it'll be a day 1 purchase for me for sure, loved the original

Re: Mario's New Voice Actor Reflects On 2023, Thanks Fans For Their Support
The voices in Mario Wonder are great but it's just the odd Wahoo or Let's a Go, wish they had full voice acting. Though I know I'd still just end up skipping what the Poplins say 🤣
Re: Feature: Best Switch Video Game Characters Of 2023
Love Mario Wonder but man those Poplins are annoying, I prefer the talking flowers
Re: Soapbox: If You're Not Playing LEGO Fortnite, You're Missing One Of The Best Survival Games
Gave it a go and it is actually quite good, just wish it was a separate game in its own right because I think it works well as an idea
