I loved DQM, possibly more than Pokémon but it aged badly and got superceded by other games. They should've carried on updating this quality game, the mechanics were way ahead of their time

@Anti-Matter all your posts say you require 60fps so you will go for the PS versions, so why are you posting on a Switch site? Your expectations are far too high! 🤣 Appreciate the Switch for what it is, a fantastic console/handheld hybrid

so they're just patching and updating the multiplayer side of things, thats their main priority, a part of pokemon that I have never delved into. I'm sure there are loads out there that will benefit, but you have to catch them in the main buggy and choppy single player game first to battle them!

@bozz kinda missing my point as I'm not denying TotK isn't one of the biggest game on the Switch. But my point is there are other games and I wish people would stop jumping on the "oh not another farm sim" bandwagon. I can't stand jrpgs but you don't see me trolling the comments saying oh here's another one!
I probably won't get this one, but I like the genre, so I love that I have a wide variety to choose from

@bozz I'm just happy its not another news article about TotK!! Don't get me wrong, I love Zelda and playing TotK as we speak, but they need to give it a rest, so this is a welcome breath of fresh air! hahahaha

@Pickettfury I tried it and it didn't work anyways so the hands of fate have spoken 🤣 kinda glad it didn't work tbh, I did it with My Time at Portia and it took all of the fun out of it. Sometimes the best part of the game is the grind

Mines been running perfectly. I am torn whether to use the duplication glitch, one part of me doesn't want to cheat, but the other half just wants a whole stack of bomb flowers!! 💥

Meanwhile in my game, I found a plank of wood, so got out 4 wheels to stick to it. 2 of the subsequently rolled down the hill, so my 2 wheeled plank mobile had to do 🤣🤣 I'm useless at this game but I seriously don't even care!

Impressive, but takes all the enjoyment out of it! I'll be taking my time and relishing every single hour

@Hunter0563 I agree that it's underpowered but you can't really fault it, you only need to compare TotK and Xenoblade 3 with something like Pokémon SV to see where the issue lies. Haven't played Bright Memory but it looks way too good to be on Switch, so the Switch is definitely capable. I don't think we need a new Switch right now, just developers that can utilize it's limited power properly

@WOLF13 the pop up and draw distance really doesn't bother me, neither does the FPS, I really don't need 60fps. If the game is good, which it is, then I'm just dandy. Technology is advancing, I'm not denying that, and like I said, I hope I'm wrong. But the Switch for me is pretty much perfect, developers are pushing it to its limits (except GameFreak 😬) and when they do the games are fantastic, even the supposed lack of power

@RiasGremory dude like I said, I hope I'm wrong! Nintendo are the masters of handhelds, but even they can't make a battery last that long, but to be honest I don't think the "Switch 2" has to be much more powerful, but then who knows what Nintendo will do, they might keep a similar spec and go down a completely different route that no one has thought about, they're not afraid to innovate when something is pretty much perfect for the market

@RiasGremory portable handhelds are always going to struggle if you make it as powerful as say a PS4. They would have to juggle battery life with still keeping it handheld. Nintendo still need to keep it vaguely aimed at kids so a behemoth like Steam Deck won't cut it. Just my opinion, and I hope I'm wrong!

I love my Switch and happy the way it is, and I don't think the grass would be greener. A more powerful Switch would bring with it a lower battery life, louder fan etc like the Steam Deck, but then I treat my Switch like a handheld and not a console

I don't see a Switch successor any time soon, but don't think there will be a better game to "end an era" like TotK. I think if Nintendo decide to release a new Mario Kart or Animal Crossing, then we will see a new Switch. But we'll probably still see a few average looking Pokémon games before then 😬🤦‍♂️

Just having the ability to drop a weapon whilst you have opened a chest is a game changer 🤣 lovely QoL update right there

@Ryu_Niiyama The Show 23 is a lot better than 22, loving it but would love the arcade feel of this, but not for that price!

I have sunk just over 100hrs into The Show 23 and was tempted by this. But just checked the eshop and it's £55 here in the UK which is far too steep, will wait for a heavy sale on this one

I personally think, and have seen it, but my kids friends have seen it at the cinema and the parent doesn't want to go to the cinema 10 times to see it, so they have downloaded it. And I totally get it, who can afford to go to the cinema a handful of times! They will most likely buy it when it comes out anyways because the quality is always so poor on these versions.
Oh and before you jump on me, I'm not defending piracy!

Finally seen it today with the kids, we were waiting for the initial buzz to die down so we weren't in a crowded cinema. The kids howled all the way through it despite their only knowledge of Mario is from Mario Kart, they said it was the funniest film ever. I too enjoyed it so much, so many lovely Easter eggs, such a fun and enjoyable movie

Think I have about 5 of these, missed out on the last few as it was getting a bit samey. This looks nice, I might get this as its a nice chill puzzle game to play that you can dip in and out of.
I do think maybe they should release an Ultimate edition next containing all puzzles and then release paid DLC

I will not be put off by who is doing what and what they might do. I am super excited for this game, the trailer looks phenomenal and will hopefully be my game of the year, crossing literally everything!

@Wordbonder thanks my friend, that certainly gives me hope! Time will indeed tell if they can do what they say they can do, I can't wait to see it later on the year

I don't regret playing the game, in fact I loved it but please god please fix the performance and frame rate issues! Though I have a sneaky suspicion that they won't, they've already sold bucket loads and fixing them won't sell more so what would be the point for them?
They need to take a leaf out of Hello Games book, they find a bug and fix it pretty much straight away

@Wordbonder I hope that's right and they do a better job. Portia could've been fantastic on Switch but instead it was just good with more than a hint of "what could have been"

I hope they learnt their lesson from Portia, it was a great game that was let down by poor performance.
I'm looking forward to this but this seems to be more power hungry so not sure how the Switch is going to cope 🤔

I hope the Switch gets access to the mods, would love to see what all the fuss is about with the Expanded mod. Any mod that builds on the game is fine by me

I've never understood the code in box thinking, they've created a box, why not create the cartridge as well? I prefer digital but have some physical but this seems like some weird half and half that never pleases anyone

@GreyFenyx haven't played for a few weeks now, was going to go back with this new update but kept hearing about crashes so I'll wait for it to be patched up. Which I'm sure will be soon. It's a great game to just dip in and out of

@Anti-Matter the game is absolutely massive so there are always going to be bugs, but they are always super fast to release a patch unlike some companies cough Pokémon cough

@RainbowStarFlower I have 4 which was great, 5 was a bit of a disappointment, but I got side tracked and started something else as couldn't get into it. I will no doubt give 3 a try too!

@RainbowStarFlower always been tempted by One World and Light of Hope but the graphics are so off putting, this new one however has promise. But I'm mainly holding out for Wonderful Life and Fantasy Life

@RainbowStarFlower SV does deal with a lot of strong storylines, Shame especially 😢 first playthrough I just did the farming but next time I spent more time speaking to people. And yes, the new HM does look impressive, fingers are well and truly crossed it turns out better

@ComfyAko I think SV just managed to take everything HM had and added to it, but don't get me wrong I still appreciate and adore the older HMs. I personally prefer the SV pixel art style, maybe because it's more Westernised 🤷‍♂️

I'm always up for new farming and cozy games, but after trying the PSP I think I'll give this a miss. Weird mechanics and just not having a clue what to do, might come back to it another day

Crysis and Wolfenstein run perfectly on it so CoD should too. If you have good coders then the game will work on Switch, looking at you Game Freak 🙄

@Brobeans it runs great, will never be the same performance as next gen consoles but it runs really well for Switch. Obvious framerate dips and bad texture and draw distance but still a fantastic little game. I only play in handheld

Just make mining quicker on Switch and I will be a happy boy! On and capes! Love all the updates for this game, will have to go back to this game, great game to sink hours and days into

Ahhh when grown adult critics' rate what is in essence a kids movie through adult eyes. These guys don't know fun it it smacked them on the head. Just enjoy the film for what it is and don't over analyse it

I obviously haven't watched it yet but sure I'm going to love it! Just don't take it too seriously, it's a film based on a video game, you should know it's not going to be a classic for the ages. Take it with a huge pinch of salt, take off your critics hat and just have fun with it! Let's a go!

Is this available on the standard version too or just the ultimate survivor edition? Also did the standard get the major overhaul too as tempted by this but the ultimate is a bit steep for me
