I have noticed a few weird glitches like when I was battling Fidough and they just weren't there, but it's strangely still better than Sword/Shield and Arceus. The open world is fantastic and the transitions between battling and walking is quick. Loving the auto battle too. A few patches to sort things out and this game could be perfect

After the Sports Story announcement and the subsequent sale of Golf Story, I'll be fitting that into my weekend as much as I can

Haven't played the series but it does look pretty decent, do you need to play 1 and 2 before this or are they unrelated?

More and more games need demos, I've been burned to many times with games I thought I'd like but then realized they were garbage or clunky messes with fantastic concepts. Saying that I simply adored the Tinykin demo and never bought that 🤷‍♂️🤣 but still, ALL games to have demos!

@sixrings I don't care about fps, 30 is fine with me. Pop up and graphics need to sparkle on certain games though

Definitely keep it portable, I rarely use it docked. Just make a more powerful Switch, they have perfected the formula, no need to reinvent the wheel with fancy gimmicks anymore

I wouldn't say the lack of multiplayer is a con, I for one will probably not use it and won't miss it

If you don't like farm/social Sims, just ignore it and move on. I think there's too many jrpgs but I don't complain about that 🤷‍♂️ same argument could apply to anything. There's too many (enter genre) nowadays

@Kvnc77 just keep playing, once everything clicks in to place it's a fantastic game. I struggled at first and left it, then came back and sunk over 100hrs on it!

Finally, love the game on Switch and never had any issues with it. Looking forward to playing it again, the main question is whether to start again or carry on with my character that's finished the main quest lines 🤔 I have already purchased it (straight away after seeing this) but how much additional content and and quests are there?

An updated Pokémon pinball would be awesome, more tables with all the Pokémon

I love ACNH but not a lot goes on in it so a few of the "cons" of this could easily translate to ACNH. What made AC such a hit was it came along during the pandemic and it's a big Nintendo franchise. Give the small developers a chance, from what I've heard they have some nice ideas and I'm tempted to give it a chance

Still had a couple of crashes after the update but nowhere near enough as before. Even in its current state it has more going for it than Animal Crossing, and I loved Animal Crossing. Every aspect is better - fishing, farming, questing, customising, cooking

I've been having a major renaissance recently, played it for nearly 200hrs now and love it. I would buy it again for Creation Club and a spot of fishing. Not sure how the mods would work on a Switch though

8/10?! It's buggier than GTA, at least I could play that, had this less than a few hours and had 2 game breaking bugs where I couldn't progress. What I played was great and I hope the patch sorts it out but at the moment it's a shambles

Always saw the hype about this but didn't have any other platforms to play it. It was a day one purchase as soon as it landed on Switch and it's awesome. Bit on the short side as apparently I've nearly finished 1 but with all the bonus material and still Portal 2 to plough through, I can't grumble at the bargain price. Load times are just something people have to deal with, they happen in EVERY game

I tried Rune Factory 5 but couldn't get into it, this however looks like what they were trying for! I am intrigued

It's clearly maintenance to just make the eshop quicker 🤣🤣 tbf I'd take that over a Direct anyways

@San_D everything looks amazing, except that rhythm game mechanic! Major turn off for me

Briefly played it and imo it runs well for having 60 little jelly beans running all over the place. Never played it before so it's a great game to have a blast on, the fact it doesn't need the NSO sub is also a major bonus
