Pokémon Pinball for the GBA is easily top of this list, only thing that would top it would be Pokémon Pinball GBA on NSO or a remastered Switch version

Love the series and had one on the Switch before but the controls are really awkward, wish they had a mouse option. It's terrible with a control pad

Impressive trailer for it, I'm happy to wait for this as it looks like every game I love all rolled into one

These sales aren't just for the great deals, also helps me realise games that I've forgotten. Think I got Dragons Dogma on similar deal a couple years back and never really played it, it's about time I got back into it as it was really enjoyable.

I really wanted to get this day 1 but the performance looks pretty bad, so I will wait for a few patches and hopefully a heavy sale. But it does look really good

I've seen gameplay on the Switch and the frame rate of things further away reminds me of Pokemon Scarlet, so its a pass from me until thats patched up. I love Portia and want this, but the stuttering is a bit off putting. Rest of the game looks fantastic though.
Look forward to playing Portia again when that patch hits

It's smooth like butter and looks incredible, loving the game so far. Nintendo knows how to make a great game

Bought this physically through Amazon as it was down to £40, it was still pretty steep but I am genuinely enjoying it.
Haven't really encountered any bugs or crashes but still quite early on in the game.
I'm preferring it to either Rune Factory, Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon. Still can't beat Stardew Valley but it's pretty darn close in my opinion

Loved SWOS back in the day but not a fan of the graphics on this new version. Though its great that it looks to have real player names, always a bit off putting having players with slightly switched out vowels to cover copyright

I do hate these comparison videos, the Switch is obviously going to look graphically worse than the next gens. But after playing it, I'm enjoying it, I only have a Switch so this will scratch my football video game itch nicely. Obvs would rather play it on a Next Gen if I had choice, but I can't, so this is fine by me!

I'm intrigued on the memory optimisation bit, love the game but the terrain manipulation can be slow and painful, it would be amazing if they could sort that out

The NPC interactions aren't really a deal breaker for me, nor is the grinding as it's kinda implied on these type of games. The bugs and hard crashes however... I have been tempted to get this but will hold out for a sale on it

Just create updates instead, reinvigorate the game that way! Surely half of the fanbase and players have moved on now. They need to give us a reason to start again

@JohnnyMind I get the strictness for shovelware, but surely they should have some sort of fast track for trusted developers. NMS is already on 4.43 on other consoles and the Switch is left waiting for 4.4 after a week so it'll probably keep get shoved to the back each time until other consoles versions are stable

Why does Nintendo have such a slow process for releasing patches? I understand that they don't want the patch to brick their hardware but still, it's incredibly slow and frustrating for gamers on Switch. Other consoles get the updates straight away. EDIT, apologies, speaking as a No Man's Sky owner rather than this game, but this game does look great

Fae Farm looks great, will be getting this just not sure if it'll be day 1

Forget Galar, think they're still missing some from Kalos and Alola. I wish they'd stop jumping around and just things in order

I would love for them to release a brand new Switch version with all games on it with ALL Pokémon catchable. This has always been my favourite of all the Pokémon spin offs

@Manxman64 we do apparently, any expeditions you've completed that had a cape as a reward on other systems, we get!

Started again recently, guessing I'll be creating a new save to take on the new expedition. This game just keeps sucking me back in, such a joy to play on the Switch

@LoroTalby it would be hard for them to compete with Fae Farm.
Fae Farm, EA FC 24, Silent Hope, Mario Wonder, then hopefully Sandrock and Fantasy Life at some point after that 🤞

its a shame, but to be honest I'd rather it was delayed if it means the game is bug free and running well on the Switch. Portia was such a great game but suffered badly with performance, so hopefully Sandrock will fair better.
Also it was in amongst other games I want to buy around September, so my wallet is glad too!!

@roboshort bad example, I apologise! Never had it on the Wii U, in fact never owned a Wii U and did not realise they came out at the same time. I know there is a Nintendo port from there that is a stupidly high price, fairly sure anyways 🤣

@roboshort similar port in terms of size, Breath of the Wild on Wii U, apparently a direct port with a few improvements, now available on Switch for way more than what RDR is priced at 🤷‍♂️
I bet Nintendo didn't need much work to get the game working on the Switch

@SwagaliciousJohnson the amount of content doesn't bog the game down in any way. they're all added but you don't really notice that they're there, you just play however you want to play

@Manxman64 is it actually, stopped playing it due to this. had to move my freighter to a different star system to carry on, but can't play fully without the freighter. might have to get back into this if thats the case

You really can't please everyone can you! We should be talking about how good the game is, yes it's an old port port but compare this to Pokémon Scarlet Violet and it's better graphically AND is cheaper.
Nintendo have done direct ports from the Wii U and still want you to pay top dollar for essentially the same game, same with Rune Factory 4 and 3, slight tweaks but it's the same. I'm not defending Rockstar in anyway but feel they're taking more flak than others possibly due to the chaos that was the GTA Trilogy biting them on the a$$

If people think it's overpriced, don't buy it, simple! It's a good lesson in life!
If you want to buy it but it's too expensive, wait for a sale, which I'm sure there will be soon, just stop harping on about.

@Pat_trick very true, never had the joys of having another console that can get cheaper versions of games. So for me to be able play this on Switch is an absolute godsend. So I get why people would grumble at the price when it's cheaper elsewhere, Switch Tax perhaps?
