Re: The Great Ace Attorney and Yo-Kai Watch Lead The Way for 3DS in Japan

@Faruko What, now that they're selling software like crazy for it? You build the user base, which is there now, and then you reap the benefit by selling software to them, that's how it works, and that's where the money is: software, not hardware. Also, that's why WiiU has been abandoned by most 3rd parties. But that's a story for another day.

Lego City Undercover still the best, 'nuff said. And after the mess with Lego Hobbit, it's gonna take something VERY good to convince me. Maybe Lego Worlds, it that ever comes to WiiU...

Re: Cube Life Update To Bring Local Multiplayer And Lots More

@Cypronia By the way, just in case you missed my suggestions:

  • Third Mode (Adventure Mode, I think it should be called): I would leave everything the same , just lower the damage enemies can do to you (particularly cannibals, sharks and spiders), bringing it down to a third of the current level of damage. Also makes the waves of cannibals smaller, 3-5 units at the time, and not happening only at night, but at specific events (when you discover a special/new material, treasure, etc). Allow the building of stronger boats, maybe another 2-3 different boats, with the last one (more difficult to find material for and build) being indestructible. That should also count for all the weapons and tools (the last one being indestructible, I mean), apologies if that is already the case. I like the idea of a pet, and if I was you I would keep that idea for this third mode, or at least implement it more for this mode.
Being Adventure Mode, it should also have a backstory, and an end (but letting you play AFTER the end too). That's why I would change the way the cannibals look (just dress them differently, couple of variants, some white too), as they won't be 'cannibals', but thieves, part of a big criminal organization based in one of the islands (that can be randomly placed on the map when the game start, so for every player will be different). The player has to find it, destroy their base and eliminates the boss of the organization.
  • Online Mode: up to 4 players are placed on a random island (chosen between a selection of the bigger ones) and they have to survive an attack of cannibals. The level of strength and the number of the cannibals should depend on the time of the attack (day=more, night=less) and the number of players. The players will have a limited amount of time for getting ready, gather the materials and build a fortress before the attack starts. Weapons should be indestructible, and players select them at the beginning of the online match.

@Cypronia Wow, your positive attitude towards any comment and suggestion is so great, it makes me wish I was there working with you! As a matter of fact, I do have few ideas, but sorry, I don't do social (facebook, twitter, etc.), so I will share these ideas on here and Miiverse.

  • Well done on trying to fix the bugs, that is very important!

Woah, I wrote way too much! I leave you to digest all that, lol. And again, thanks for replying and keep up the good work!

Re: Review: Cube Life: Island Survival (Wii U eShop)

@Cypronia Just want to say that I bought it, is good, lots of fun, and looking forward to the updates. Only few things:

  • There should be a third mode, in-between the maybe-too-relaxing creative mode and the maybe-too-hard survival. Something where you can have fun create your little paradise, but also vive some adventure, hunting animals and so on.
  • Also, how do you make strings for the bow? I managed to make ropes, but can't figure out how to do strings!
  • Doors would be much appreciated too, as well as some kind of drawbridge, more fruits and more animals, aside from chickens and boars. It'd be great if trees and vegetation would grow back in time, after being harvested.

Just some ideas, hope I didn't bore you, lol.

Mmmh, this a tricky one. I want to love it, and I'm sure it'll be fun. And I'm sure graphics will be ok, at least. I am not even concerned by controls, heck I haven't had a single problem playing KI on 3DS without circle pad pro, so... What scares me is content. No online? 2-3 hours campaign? If that ends up being the case, I can't see it moving too far from the "worth a rental" category.
