Re: Rumour: EA And Nintendo Looking To Rekindle "Unprecedented Partnership" On NX

@liveswired The limitations you're talking about were gone with WiiU, anyone that was following the stories before launch would knew it, let alone the devs/publishers. And Origin on WiiU? Seriously? I can't imagine anyone thinking that would have been a better outcome, tbh.
Having said that, I always said Nintendo should have paid EA to have all the major releases on WiiU (and 3DS, to an extent), and I will keep saying they should absolutely do that for NX. They need it.

@Jayvir No sensitiviness, I was just matching the tone of your post, you were the first to "assume". And no, most shoot em up of my times didn't loop, sorry. Even then, restarting is just some sort of "game+", endless kind of games are another thing entirely, they usually rely on online scores leaderboards, that's why some people in this post section was asking if it was present. They're just not my cup of tea, that's all. But again, I haven't played the game, so if someone has played it and confirm it does have some kind of story/progression/ending, I'll happily stand corrected.

@Jayvir I've played and beaten most of them since 1984, my friend, probably before you were born, but the review did not mention the game having an ending, just endless repetitive and faster waves of enemies. Hence my assumption of it being an endless-type of game, since they seem to be quite popular this days. So you played it and can confirm it doesn't belong to that genre, that it does infact have some kind of objective and ending? Or you just like to disagree with people in principle?

I suppose new layout just need some getting used to.
Only gripes is with the comments, takes forever to load them now, regardless of how many are; and your comments should be available to see as soon as you click on your avatar, or at least should be selectable in the drop down menu, it took me a while to find them.
I agree with the ignore list, we need it.
I was talking about the mobile site, btw, as it's the only one I use.

Re: Macronix Will Be Providing Memory Products for the NX

Calling it now, I reckon NX will be made of 2 components:

1) Home Console, basically a much more powerful WiiU, faster/more RAM/etc., which will play WiiU games perfectly, and will connect to
2) Handheld, basically a much more powerful 3DS, which will work as controller when connected to Home Console, or as a portable on his own.

NX games will be flashcards, can only be inserted in Handheld, but when connected to Home Console will output to TV taking advantage of stronger processing power, displaying native code. When used on the Handheld, games will automatically downscale in FPS and definition, to match smaller screen.
Still not sure if WiiU games will be available in flashcards too, or as digital download only.
