2.0 feels really half-baked; the actual missions you get with the playsets are simplistic, and the ones you can make they leave you with that unfinished feeling, as you can't perma-save or connect different world/levels to make it look like a proper game. Is ok to mess about, yes, but I feel we already spent too much money on it. And we haven't spent much on it...

@pleonexia Same here (well, aside from ASA, still on our to-buy list), SM3D and Nintendoland are a top priority for our family co-op time (Pikmin and Zelda the favourite). Since we bought Kirby Adventure Wii, that one seems to get our kids approval too, for multiplayer.

Hope they add more frames to the fox movesets, at least; it's all very rigid. Ambient and gameplay looks nice, though.

They'll soon discover that "it's dangerous to go a-clone"... ahem

Them, Bullfrog, Microprose; for whoever was gaming in the '90s, they were like gods. I loved Chaos Engine and Speedball, happy days indeed.

I'm an adult, and I enjoyed the first FL, so in theory I'm in the 'target audience', from their pov; well, I certainly won't be buying the sequel, unless they're going to port it to 3DS sometime in the future. I have a smartphone more than capable to run it, but I have zero interest in mobile gaming, particularly a 200+ hours experience like this, if the time I spent on the first one is any indication.

While I would love to play some of those on Nintendo hardware (I grew up with Elite on C64 and with Herbert's books, after all), I feel the whole 'kid-friendly joke' thing is getting a bit stale.

@Gridatttack No game is. By that standard, no game should ever get a 10/10. But again, opinions.

I was expecting beams of light a-la Blade Runner and, at least, some pindaric flights on the NX/hybrid subject. Disappoint.

The issue IS of the industry, though, and it's getting more and more evident as time goes by. Is a moral and social issue, one that many parents are not ready/dont wan't to face, and that's another issue, the one teachers could help with, without generalizing. I mean, look at the adverts for ps4/x1, and tell me if that is something that should appeal to a gaming family.
