Re: Image & Form Celebrates SteamWorld Heist Release With an Open Letter to Fans

@imageform Excellent letter, and I'm downloading right now. I will tell you my opinion on the game once finished, like I did with Dig. Just remember perfect games don't exist, so stay humble as you all are and keep learning from genuine complaints/suggestions, like I believe you did.
A particular thank you goes to I&F for supporting the "Nintendo community", as you call it, keep up the good work.

Re: Review: FAST Racing NEO (Wii U eShop)

@gatorboi352 And yet, a launch title (Sonic Racing) did that with no problem. It should be a no-brainer, really. 2P: 1st on the GP, 2nd on tv. 3P: 1st on GP, other 2 split tv screen. I would stop at 3 players, if the framerate has to suffer. And BTW, framerate problems are not exclusive to WiiU; PS4 and X1 have their fair share too.

@Shiryu Understandably, this article was more of a love letter to XC, which I subscribe, even though I haven't still finished it. And in a few days the new adventure will start, welp!
But maybe one day you should write an article (or a book, who knows) about your gaming memories, it seems like you still have most of them intact. I'm very envious, as unfortunately all my gaming memories are there in my head, but all intertwined, overlying one another, some clear as day, others fading. Maybe that's because they're too many, having started gaming in the -now far- '84, with my faithful C64.
Or maybe I'm just old... yes, that's definitely it, 😧

@Yorumi It's not difficult to understand, by removing as little content as possible (in a huge game, AND leaving a great deal of customization, I might add) they made it more accessible to the people (I agree, we're getting less by the hour) who find such content inappropriate. They obviously didn't account for all the little entitled gamers/trolls of the west, who thinks (or pretend to, I'm still convinced a true gamer couldn't miss it for this) that removing a girl in a skimpy outfit and a slider would be a game-breaker. Bye now, I took the bait for too long already.

@Fee I'm not very good at what, complaining about the removal of something I already deem inappropriate? I'm glad I'm not very good, then!
It's clear they done it to increase the target audience, whether or not that affects the rating is something those boards should reveal, or Nintendo. It's just the logical explanation, not because they're "prude" or something, they're about making money, after all.

Re: Hover: Revolt of Gamers Will Be "Properly" Recreated For Wii U

andrea987

@kobashi100 lol@"new technology", honestly. I was there, I remember people (not me, I can't give a rats about console wars, or wars in general) saying things like "wowzer, 2gb ram for a console, that's like 3-4 times ps3/x360, etc". Then when ps4/x1 came out, "wowzer2, 8gb ram, etc". Guess what, IT'S STILL ARCHAIC COMPARED TO MODERN GAMING PCs! Stop with this nonsense, companies do things differently, Nintendo wanted to have bc for the wii u, and I am glad they did. Ps4 has lots of ports? Who cares, I'm glad they did, so people can enjoy last gen gems, me I'm still happy with my ps3.

I can't believe real gamers are complaining about this. Of course that has been done to make the game rating available to more people, hence increasing chance of sales, since it's already considered a "niche" game.
Again, I wouldn't imagine a gaming enthusiast missing it for this, but to compensate I'll go and order another copy, you never know (and I already ordered 2).

@ikki5 Bless you, keep living in your little world. Unfortunately we live in a world where EVERYTHING is sexualized, where the bigger entertainment industry IS about sex, the most clicked websites ARE about sex, and so on. Having said that, I don't think this would make anything better, I just cannot accept people getting mad at ANY company for this. But yes, if you REALLY think that, then good for you, and if EVERYONE was like that, then censorship wouldn't have any reason to exist.
