It's a Wednesday, which means it's Media Create chart results day in Japan. This week brought some notable new releases, with the 3DS faring particularly well while the Wii U hangs on to five figure hardware sales.

Kicking off with software, Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad - an action spin-off rather like the equivalent to the Pokemon Rumble titles - has continued the franchises' hugely impressive record in Japan. The two versions combined have stormed to top spot with a whopping 693,538 sales; Capcom's The Great Ace Attorney makes its début in second place with over 135,000 sales. The highest Wii U entry is still Splatoon, which has now passed 400,000 units in the Media Create data; results are below with lifetime sales in brackets.
