Toby Fox has stated that he wants chapter 3-5 to be released as a set. That's why Chapter 1 was just called "demo" and Chapter 2 was released standalone because of COVID. Chapter 3 is not actually going to be released soon.

I hate all the hype ports get. In 99% of cases ports are entirely insignificant.

They were a bigger deal on the Wii U when many developers would skip them, but there's no need to be excited about them five years into the Switch's success.
They're still nice to have, but they take up way too much attention. In an ideal world they would all be shadowdropped without any coverage on Directs and just receive a quick tweet notifying that it's out.

@Laoak Bedrock isn't an inferior version. It's just different. For example, it runs much better than Java because it was built on a more optimized framework. That's what allows it to run on phones as well. And each update it lurches slowly towards parity with the Java edition. If Java was on Switch, it couldn't run at all.

This article isn't very well written. Etika's mural took months of planning, and it was made by a small group of commission artists and not merely a mass of fans. These people should get credit. Additionally, "Joyconboyz are the fans" is phrased really weird and this news is a lot more than "somewhat fitting" for Etika.

Aonuma isn't involved with the Link's Awakening remake though.

@Ashunera84 Everyone knows that Sword and Shield will be wildly successful. What people are so aggravated about is that GameFreak can do the bare minimum and always sell millions

All of those 4 Pokemon can evolve, which means their evolutions are someone's favorite. You can't just keep an evolved Pokemon while banning an unevolved one, so therefore there's no possible Pokemon that can be banned without removing one that people care about.

I'm sure Splatoon 3 will end up as an anarchic Mad Max-esque apocalypse if Chaos wins, or a fascist cyberpunk-esque apocalypse if Order wins.

@DavidMac Well, Torna~TGC has been stated to be more mature, and most of 2's sex stuff were jokes. The new protagonist also has a good non-sexual female design. Many people have stated that Tora is looking to be quite better than the base game.

Pretty much every game has increased gravity as well as an increased vertical jump on characters. This isn't anything special.

Why is Nintendo Life including a bit about Lets Go as if it's fact?

@Monado_X There was a leaked screenshot a while ago that showed the player riding a Lapras with an Eevee in Kanto, and the graphics looked nearly identical to the 3DS games. If that screenshot was true, then it'll seem like the game will not be gen 8.

This has to be something playable at the World Championships, or something not videogame related. If this was another expansion pack, for example, it would be shown off at E3.

@SmaggTheSmug Every game has a segmented map. Typically, an overworld in an open world game would have no loading screens.

This was tasty, but the NFC tag was just a sticker. Doesn't seem like a big deal to keep it in there.
