Don't forget that the Wii U paved the way for the Switch technically as well as creatively. With it's focus on low electricity consumption rather than power, Nintendo was most likely already trying to get their home consoles to evolve into portables. The Wii U was a necessary akward stage.

Danny Devito literally did not know what Pokemon was when a fan asked him about the role (he no doubt knows now because of Pokemon Go). I think a likely voice actor could be Alex Hirsch doing a Grunkle Stan-esque deep voice since he's already working on the movie.

@gaga64 Six hours ahead is much more confusing then 12 ahead, and Necrozma doesn't have anything to do with Dusk, which is also a specific time of day.

@Sir_Anthony It's not more of a cash grab as other third versions were. They had to make it two versions because Sun takes place in normal time while Moon takes place 12 hours later. You can't split the difference with that without confusion.
