Sure rumours are just that, rumours, but I haven't heard a single one about the NX that I like. It doesn't seem like it will be great system at all, which is sad.

I'm sure I should have just watched the video, but not really feeling like it right now. So, my question, was any of the senior Japanese staff fired after the internal review?

And now it's a 2016 game, so why did you not show it this E3? They need to show things that are further in the future than the next 6-8 months for the Wii U. Not doing so makes people doubt the future of the Wii U, especially with Nintendo mentioning the NX so often.

@Peach64 Exactly, Splatoon was one of the major things that made last year's E3 presentation so great. It was new and fresh, it looked great. And with the gameplay shown on the Treehouse streams they sold a lot of people on it.

Fast Racing Neo looked really good on the Treehouse stream. Now that was exciting.

@scamander Yeah, it would have been fun to add in an actual Animal Crossing game. This is too stripped of an Animal Crossing experience for me though.

Underwhelming? Just utterly disappointing. No one wants an Animal Crossing like this and I'm amazed anyone at Nintendo thought this was a good idea.

You have to give Microsoft props for giving you 30 games for 30 bucks. Wish Nintendo had better pricing on their VC stuff and made it more available (more VC games in general and more stuff on 3DS).

Was hoping to see more (uninterrupted) gameplay/racing, but it looks great. Reminds me so much of Wipe-Out and I love it.

@Ryu_Niiyama I think it's been taken off of the eShop, but if you had it before that you'll get to keep it.

As much as I love Animal Crossing (I specifically bought the 3DSXL to play New Leaf), Happy Home Designer has no appeal to me whatsoever.

Animal Crossing for Wii U could be great though, a bigger city/world to explore, better graphics, better/more online options, connectivity with the 3DS game maybe? Imagine Animal Crossing related Miiverse posts from your friends appearing on your town's message boards. (And I'm sure the AC team can think of many more cool things to do with a Wii U version.)

Is it cross-buy for Wii U and New 3DS?

I love the Animal Crossing crossover content. The rest is sadly disappointing for someone in G-rank. Where are my Gold and Silver raths? And that Savage Deviljho would have been great in G-rank as well.

I can no longer 'Yeah' Miiverse posts when I check out the profile of Inklings walking around in the hub? That's disappointing, I Yeah'd so many posts the last couple of days.

@Peach64 When people are complaining about unfinished games they usually mean games that are buggy as hell or even outright unplayable at launch. Splatoon is not like that. It is lacking content and certain options however. I think most people (including me) are willing to overlook that because they're too excited about the game.

I think I'm encountering a bug now, sadly. I'm stuck in a lobby with 4 others and the counter just keeps resetting. It'll get to 160 and then start again from 200, just on and on for about ten minutes. I had to turn off my wireless just to get out of it.

It sounds like they just haven't worked on the Wii U version at all since announcing the Xbox One and PS4 versions and are now trying to get out of the Wii U version entirely. Poor form. You promised something to people that paid for it, do what you promise (or pay them back). Seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Oh, I didn't even know Wii U was a goal. Glad they hit it though, looks great.

@RupeeClock Don't expect too much of the part that you can play for free. They're just a handful of tutorial levels.

This is just a crying shame. I love Fantasy Life on the 3DS, why anyone would want to play any game on a phone is beyond my understanding.

@R-L-A-George I'm sorry, I should have realised sarcasm doesn't translate well into written text. It was just a dig at some developers justifying their 30fps games by saying it's more cinematic that way. I'll take 720p 60fps over 1080p 30fps any day.

How can anyone watch this? It's like they don't care about cinematics at all.

@ThomasBW84 In my opinion you could have put eShop games in this list and still made a seperate article about the eShop in June. You could put a lot more eShop only games in that article and highlight the games that are still coming to the eShop.

@ThomasBW84 So when someone disagrees with you, you're getting flamed? You're leaving out some of the best games the 3DS has, which is a shame really.

@ThomasBW84 That seems like an arbitrary reason to leave out games that are great contributions to the 3DS's library. By that reasoning you could leave out games that haven't been around since the launch of the 3DS. "Well, they weren't around since 2011." :/

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars is Nintendo's way of doing cross buy, this is Curve Digital's way. Besides that point, I think it's distasteful of NintendoLife to promote this kind of behaviour.

I think it's nice every version gets their own extras, hopefully Yacht Club Games gets permission from Nintendo to do something cool for the 3DS and Wii U versions as well.

@sinalefa I've found the lock-on works pretty great (in MH3U and the MH4U demo), then you can use the d-pad or d-pad on the touch screen for minor corrections.

@russellohh I'm guessing it will be €2. That is too much to pay. You can disagree, but I don't think a simple theme is worth that amount of money. (You can buy one for me though! )
