@Peach64 Kind of different because Shovel Knight needed to be localised and rated for the EU. Ubisoft singled out a platform to delay the game on, the other versions released in the EU as scheduled. Not sure why you're even trying to make this comparison.

She actually brings up a great point with Yoshi. He has gotten multiple games of his own, Super Mario World might be more influental for that reason alone.

I too once woke up as Miley Cyrus, wearing an animal costume and sunglasses, with a Wii U pro controller in hand. It was confusing, to say the least.

@617Sqn And less of a reason for people to buy Nintendo systems, which means Nintendo loses out on money there. On top of that they would have to pay Sony to bring games to their system ánd they have to work with systems that aren't catered to their own developers, which could mean a loss of quality. Plenty of potential for people to lose out. (Funny how it's always Nintendo that has to bring their exclusives to other consoles though. )

Does someone know where to find the real story behind this? I think I've read or heard that if Nintendo took this deal with Sony, Sony would have the rights to make their own SNES console that played all of Nintendo's games. I'm not sure that would have been such a great deal for Nintendo.

That looks incredibly weird.

Definitely see this as a possibility. There are people importing a Japanese 3DS to play one or more games that aren't out (MH4 for instance) or importing special editions that will never come out here. There don't even have to be a lot of people doing it, even 1% of 3DS owners makes up almost half a million sales.

@GARF13LD Agree, would definitely pick up one of the EO games for this price (even if they just replace the $ for €). Haven't played one of the games before, so a bit hesitant, a discount helps that.
