All the snes staples are here— Mario, Mario kart, Zelda and Metroid. Everything else here is gravy. Nintendo has had an excellent year with tons of great games and some awesome Nintendo online content

Odyssey is the only AC game I’ve played. Going back from that awesome combat system to AC Rogue and Black Flag is not very appealing, especially considering that AC 3 didn’t port well to Switch.

I don’t want a new Metal Gear solid game. I just want a Metal Gear Collection on my Switch. I really want to eventually play MGS 4, but I never owned a PS3. Also, Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2 again. Loved those games so much as a teen.

I’ve got Gamepass on Xbox, so I’ll play it for free over paying $60 for this on Switch in six months.

Japan or Euro. Just not USA. Mega man shooting that robot in the crotch and castle gray skull in the background just looks sooo tacky and bad

I used these occasionally. I picked up Xenoblade 3DS for 40% off and a few VC titles, and that’s it

Knowing that Nintendo will fix their joy cons for free (I’ve had them fix some for me), I’ll stick with the Nintendo branded stuff. Hori’s left-con with a d-pad is also a good piece of hardware and I’m interested in their Daemon X Machina controllers that seem like they might be the most comfortable handheld option.

Maybe after I finish Doom 3 and Doom Eternal this year

@ricklongo there is AI co-op as well. Different companions you can team with in the game. I’m not sure if you can avoid using a companion the whole game, cuz I remember a few moments you needed a partner, but not required to have another live person to play with

I played through one boss one game pass, but I’d love more souls-like games on Switch!! I’ll pick this up cuz it’s already somewhat polished

If they use good servers for the game, I’m sold. I’ve run into terrible connections whenever I’ve played Nintendo online games like Smash Bros, ARMS or Splatoon 2 test splats. I have a great connection at my house, and don’t have any issue with my PS4 or Fortnite on Switch.

The art direction of this game is beautiful, but if the code stays pretty buggy, then there’s no way I’ll play it.

About 3 hrs in and I’m liking it. It doesn’t feel too hard yet. I’ve read that there are a few difficulty spikes (barring setting the spikes yourself when you first start the game). First timer to the series but this seems pretty great so far. Just have to decide if I’d rather get this with a voucher or see if I can get a discount online

If only I liked any of their games. I played Blaster Master Zero when the switch was new and had few indies and I hated it. Everything else they put out doesn’t even look like my style of game, so I don’t even bother when I see Inti Creates anymore

There are some games that I feel like are terrible in 2D. Mario 3D Land felt more difficult when played flat. Additionally, I preferred the way certain games like Xenoblade 3DS or Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon looked with 3D turned on.

10 hrs seems like an absurd amount. I will at least give it a shot. I wasn’t planning to pick this up, but maybe after a few hrs I’ll know if I wanna use my 2nd voucher on this

Hopefully this is the last month we get NES games. Just saying— fingers crossed

@Kainbrightside Psychonauts 2 is being built with Unreal engine 4, so I hope they can port it

Got a special preorder price for $40 last year. Doom 2016 is my favorite FPS and I’m looking forward its sequel so badly

I have a 400 gb SD card in my Switch, but I’m still gonna go with the physical edition cuz that game is sooo big. Love hearing all the good stuff about the game on Switch. I’ve played it on PS4 and wanna give it another go with a different armor set

I traded in a bunch of games to Gamestop and upgraded my launch edition switch for the new model. Can’t wait to play Fire Emblem and Witcher 3 in longer bursts away from my dock now

Metroid, Zelda and Mario should be first, but I’d like to see some rpgs that get me to play something a bit longer

HD remake of Time Splitters 2 and 3 first, then make something new... please!! It was my favorite couch-coop/multiplayer FPS

First playthrough done on Fire Emblem, I’ll hop back into Mario Maker 2 for a bit before I do another 50 hrs in Fire Emblem

@Metal_Gear_Mark agreed. Not to say that Pokémon can’t be great on the switch, but based on what I’ve seen from The Pokémon Company and GameFreak, sword and shield seems pretty much the same as always. A little of something new, but nothing to make it really stand out or change anything.

Fire Emblem has had me pretty busy. Aside from that, I picked up Observer and Layers of Fear which were both on sale.

I have a North American account and it offered this game trial to me. I downloaded it, but it doesn’t work. I do gameshare with my brother, so that could be holding it back from working. Additionally, my copy of Toad Treasure Tracker has a “remaining play time:” listed on it even though I purchased this game like 6 months ago. Anyone else getting all this weird stuff?

Very surprised Doom 3 wasn’t mentioned. I like it better than original Doom or Doom 2, but to each their own.

@frabbit I think the visuals taking a hit on switch is definitely a negative, but certainly wouldn’t take it down past 9/10 in my book. I loved this game for so much more than visuals. I’m more nervous that the load times might be excessive than anything else.

I’m addicted to Fire Emblem, so I’ll have to finish it before Witcher 3 comes out. I want to go for a different class in witcher 3 this time around — potions, oils and bear armor perhaps?...

I’ve loved my 3DS. I think it’s dead. How many games are coming out for it this year? Basically none. Persona Q2 came out and maybe a Kirby game. I’m finishing a few more games on it and then I won’t have much use for it after that.

Free on Xbox game pass, so I’ll play it there instead of 5-6 months later on Switch.

Time to plug my switch back into my PSVR again.

Ever since I started game sharing with my brother, it’s been annoying to have to be logged into internet to play my own games on switch. I’ve started buying physical again just to play my own games without that internet check every time I wanna boot up a title.

I wish that these games requiring downloads didn’t include some download code and simply let whomever had the cart in the switch download them and play them as long as the cart was in the switch. I believe the Telltale games worked this way on PS4 and such

If anyone wants to let me use their buddy pass, I’d gladly play with them

What a modest price tag for an old game. Capcom and Nintendo, please take note.

My original joy cons and my pro controller suffer from drift. I would love to get some money back from Nintendo for this.

I can’t imagine how anyone could want the switch lite and not be worried that once the joy cons start drifting that they have to buy a brand new system

Previously purchased the Mutant Mudd collection for $8 and felt like it was worth it. I bought all the rest, even though I’ve beaten Xeodrifter before.

Played through the first twenty levels and promptly deleted it. It’s not worth my time I can tell

Most of the games with the Nintendo vouchers are games I own or don’t want. This is one I finally want that I don’t have

My pikachu hori joycon is totally fine for me. It doesn’t feel too noticeably different for me to continue using it.

Already preordered, and was expecting an October or November release, but sooner is better for me

Currently playing through on Expert mode, but I doubt I’ll be ever finish it this way. Loved the game and I’ll probably buy and play everything this developer makes from now on.

Diablo 3 with friends, Cuphead expert mode and Rick and Morty VR on PS4.

Throw on some classic gamecube games. I’m certainly interested in Mario 64 and a few other N64 titles, but gamecube is where everything got really good for me

Extremely excited for this game! Day 1 purchase for sure, unless it comes out the same week as Doom Eternal or Death Stranding.

Capcom should release Viewtiful Joe 1&2 for switch. I’d probably pay $20 to play and replay those on the go
