Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel has just uploaded a trailer showing off a new update for the Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Version 1.3.0 – out now in Japan – adds in Labo VR support, allowing players to view and work their way through a series of puzzles from an all-new angle. Here's a bit of extra information, courtesy of Japanese Nintendo:

The update allows you to play The Treasure at Mushroom Ruins, Walleye Tumble Temple, Briny Bowl Swimming Hole, and Mine Cart Tunnel Throwdown with the VR Goggles.

There's no information about when this update will be released locally.

Nintendo will also be offering Japanese Switch Online subscribers a chance to play Captain Toad for free between the 5th - 11th August. It will give players access to the entire experience and can be played for a 10-day period.
