I choose you, Cyberpunk Potato Graphics! Oof! Anyone else feel extremely underwhelmed by the visuals of this Pokémon game?

The good thing is that I haven’t finished P5 on my PS5, so that helps me not buy this yet. I bought too many other games this holiday season that I need to finish first.

Battlefront 2 and Overwatch on pc with friends. Maybe some Resident Evil 3 on PS4 in preparation for RE8

Glad to see almost everyone else in the comments are against this. I’ve tried to avoid seeing Tencent films at the theater and games funded by Tencent.

Looking forward to this. I skipped the WiiU, so every game from it is new to me.

Any guesses how long Bowser’s Fury will add to the game? I’m hoping it’s more than just a 2-3 hours.

How will I know which titles are shovelware and which are discounted indies when they’re all $1.99 during sales?

This is among my most anticipated titles of the year, up next to titles like Horizon Forbidden West, GoW Ragnarok and more.

Great deal for people looking to start streaming. I have loved my Genki Dock for switch and would get this if I didn’t already have an elgato.

I know this will likely be a gimmicky pc, but I still want it.

I finished Demon’s Souls, but I’m likely to play through it again, just quicker.

@Smug43 I played this on Steam on my 27” monitor. How tiny does the protagonist get in it? It zoomed out way far a few times and made her super small, so I’m curious how big she was on the switch size screen in those sections.

I’d recommend Broforce, Gato Roboto and Enter the Gungeon at those prices, but probably nothing else.

I might get Wildfire as a quick metroidvania to play just before Cyberpunk 2077

Doom and Skyrim both came out in Switch’s first year, so how are they not discounted further? They should both be $30 normally, and down to $10 on sale.

I’m fine with the graphics of both but I’d still have to see the frame rate of the switch version when fighting many enemies for me to ever consider it on that Switch. For now, I think I’m gonna go with my Xbox Series X to play it

The fact they are just stating the year 2021 and nothing more specific like “first half of 2021” makes me nervous that it’ll be late 2021 if at all.

My guess is that they’ll drop info soon during a Nintendo Direct with them also saying “and it’s available now!”

Ubisoft often charges $40 for a season pass. This one looks pretty exciting. 3 adventures for $14-ish each?

I think there’s a reasonable argument to be made that Microsoft will or won’t keep these Bethesda games exclusive. If they make them exclusive, they might see more Xbox console sales. If they don’t, they can always charge a premium $70+ on PlayStation consoles to make some money. I could see them taking the AAA games and making those multi platform and keep the smaller ones exclusive. I’m cool with however this shakes out tbh

@HotGoomba___Rebrand they can’t really say much — whether things will be exclusive, etc— as the deal hasn’t gone through yet. It remains in their best interest to say things that sound very neutral still

Hoping to buy one tomorrow when they go on sale in the US

They’d need to pack in Fusion and Zero Mission to make this worth it for me

I think I’m gonna be too busy with AC Valhalla and Demon’s Souls. Sure hope everyone else who wanted a new console got a preorder as well!

Nintendo should absolutely remake this game with one of their fun little craft art styles.

I can’t believe people play docked that much. When I first got my switch I tried it out on a tv screen for about 1 hr out of my 110 in Zelda and occasionally docked it. I still rarely dock it, but more than I did in the beginning

I wouldn’t mind if they moved away from the switch eventually, but however long we can keep things running Switch software — like how the DS still allowed you to play GBA games, or the 3DS played DS games would make me happiest.

Love this game. I’m not one to pick up random indies on day 1, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised myself. I love the different combinations of weapons and boons I’ve picked up in my dozen or so runs and expect I’ll be playing a lot more in the next few weeks

this will be quite the game when it does finally release. It's been so long, I don't remember how much I even paid on kickstarter anymore

Obviously didn’t read all 120+ comments, but the ones I did were just shameless ragging on TOK— it was a great game. My favorite on switch from this year for sure!! It’s hard to know where the games are going each iteration, but if they make more as fun as TOK then I’m in

I share the family price with friends, so I think it’s worth the $5 a year. I’m happy with the content we get with NSO. I don’t often hop in there, but I’ve become accustomed to Nintendo adding new consoles each year, so I hope that we see some N64 titles. I would love to play Mario 64 or Mario Party 2.

Another disappointing direct. I can see why others might be excited, but looks like I’m waiting longer for games that will excite me. It’s okay, all the great pc games come out soon

Playing through Origami King right now and I LOVE IT!! I prefer Thousand Year Door, but TOK is definitely my fave 2020 Switch game so far

I saw this one (without knowing it was an Image and Form title) during the Xbox conference and it was one of the titles that interested me most.

I fear for 3rd party support, but we’ve seen a lot of indies come to the switch, so I’m anticipating that Switch will still be my place to play Nintendo exclusives and indies, but then I’ll play my big AAA games on PS5 and PC

Death Stranding is my favorite walking sim. Play it on pc or PS4

I purchased this from the Kickstarter and love this product. I use it for my switch and my iPad and it works perfectly. One recommendation is that you check you have a long enough hdmi cable cuz some people might not have their tv/monitor close enough to their electrical socket.
I bought a portable monitor and use the usb-a on the dock to power it, so I’m running both switch and monitor all from one plug
