I’d love it if Nintendo loaned him the Metroid license. There are great indie creators who have taken up the mantle of Nintendo’s 2nd and 3rd tier games like Metroid, Mother and Advance Wars. I’d love to see Nintendo get these small teams to create games specifically for Nintendo consoles, even if it was just for a single game.
I understood from their DLC announcement that no story content would be added. I’m extremely satisfied with the main game, but if they add a solo story I’ll buy that. I don’t have much opportunity to play couch co-op or online except the occasional Overwatch match, so I’ll pass on multiplayer content
I know that this game isn’t for me— I’ve never been into the Final Fantasy games or almost anything by Square Enix ‘cept for the newest Tomb Raider games. I’m not a fan of the chibi style. The color palette is really nice n earthy tho
This game actually looked really slow and boring tbh. It was one of the weakest games of the whole presentation. I don’t blame them being defensive about it, but it didn’t present at all in a way that interests me when it eventually does come out. That Hollow Knight sequel though... that’s a day one purchase
Loving Luigi’s Mansion 3 and planning to play that. I finished Dark Souls 3 this week so I don’t need to worry about budgeting my time between games. I might play some matches of Overwatch, but that’s it
Been playing a lot of dark souls 3 on Xbox, but I need to play LM3 before I get into Death stranding next week. Or maybe with how reviews of Death Stranding are going, I might give up on it before too long lol
I don’t enjoy most FPS games on switch unless I’m playing with my Pro Controller— so it would make no sense for me to play this on Switch when I have game pass to play it for free. Sometimes I wish I had the Xbox One X, cuz this game is certainly pretty on my S
Finished replaying The Last of Us, so gonna focus on The Witcher 3. I’m playing in French to improve my comprehension— especially in medieval/fantasy conversation
Zelda and Mario Odyssey are still the best games on Switch after 2.5 years. Kinda disappointed to say that, but it also does speak volumes to their excellence.
I like the M&L series on GBA and DS, but the 3DS titles were a step down imo. Hopefully Nintendo can save them, cuz after FE3H, that dev is gonna be busy making more Fire Emblem titles and probably not as many Paper Mario games. Give that series to Alpha Dream to work on
@RiasGremory I know it’ll be great, but I don’t really like First Person Shooters on handheld switch. I also got 1/3 off the PS4 version that I couldn’t get for the Switch copy. It was a no brainer for me. Maybe I’ll double dip later like I did with the switch version of the first game
@Chunkboi79 I totally understand your plight as a PS and Nintendo gamer. Some games are prettier/and or run smoother and they often go on discount much faster on PS4 than on Switch. That’s why I’m getting Doom Eternal on PS4 over Switch. My preorder was cheaper and it’ll run better on my PS4 Pro
Loved the multiplayer on it back in the day. This makes me sad to see it cut from the game. I may still play it eventually, but with another dungeon or two left in Zelda and Dragon Quest arriving this week, I’ll pass for now
@SepticLemon who can beat Super Mario Bros in 6 min? I can’t. Can the avg person do that? I’m talking about average playthrough time. Just because someone can speed run through Dark Souls in 30 min doesn’t mean I can. It took me 55 hrs and i’d wager most first playthroughs are roughly 40-50 hrs. So your logic befuddles me. I know I’d have a good time playing Untitled Goose Game, but if the avg person says it’s only 90 min, I’m not ready to shell out $15 for that. That’s expensive to me
@Ooyah if you buy and play it, tag me with how much time you use to play it. I was only informed by one person on how long it was and I’d love to know that I’m wrong and it’s worth 5-10 hrs
After hearing how short it is, I’m discouraged from spending $15 for 90 min of gameplay. I’m sure this is great, it looks very charming, but I just can’t justify that price for something I’ll play once and move on from when I can get more playability out of other games for the same or lesser price
@aznable I was thinking the same thing honestly. The review is soo kind to the game that it sounds like a 10, but it’s as if they only reserve 10s for Zelda, Mario or other first party Nintendo games
I play PSVR, so I definitely don’t mind jumping or wiggling about if it’s a fun activity. I’ve gotten hot and sweaty while playing Beat Saber or Super Hot. I’m just not convinced there’s enough in this fitness game to warrant owning. I definitely love gamifying my other workouts, but I don’t need to actually play a game in order to workout
Loved the two zero escape games I played, but I this is lower on my list for this year than say Dragon Quest XI, Doom Eternal, Control, and Death Stranding. So I’ll likely get it next year on sale sometime
I played the demo — not for me — love the gorgeous art of this game though. If Nintendo makes it free for a week for online subscribers like they’ve done with a few other games, I’d certainly try playing more, but even then I doubt that I’d finish it

what a joke of a price. I paid $30 for a family plan that I share with 5 other people and we all could play this game for free. But if you’re that convinced to “buy physical” then it’s your money to waste.
Loved this on DS back in the day. I play Marvel Puzzle Quest daily now. Don’t think I’ll get this on switch. I’ll be too busy with everything else this year

Re: Hideki Kamiya Thinks The Switch Home Menu Is A "Piece Of Crap"
Folders are the only thing I’d want. Themes - Pass— Unnecessary clutter. Let’s have something that doesn’t slog down the zippy switch
Re: Port Specialist Saber Interactive Is Working On New Games For Nintendo Switch
Witcher 3 on Switch runs great! Whatever they port next will be welcome!

Re: Decay Of Logos' Delayed Switch Launch Date Revealed, New Trailer Released
Weak reviews point to a no from me. Seemed fairly unanimous that this game was bad. Baaaaaad!

Re: There's Finally A Game On Switch That Makes Use Of Online Play Invites
Nintendo is behind on the times and it’s discouraging that they don’t have a single first party game that supports this feature
Re: You Might Want To Put The Brakes On Nintendo's Black Friday Switch + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle
Not a bad price but I feel like some of these early switch games are overpriced at $60. Where are the Nintendo selects this gen?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 26th)
Wanna play some more overwatch on switch this weekend. And I have Outer Worlds and Dark Souls 3 that I’m playing as well.

Re: Review: Ring Fit Adventure - Fitness Fun For Everyone
@Camo-joe how much cheaper? Bought my copy from Walmart for $70 as opposed to $80
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 19th)
@Vriess such a good game! I played around 50 hrs and finished the campaign but didn’t feel like I scratched the rest of the quests

Re: Did Hideki Kamiya And Ikumi Nakamura Just Tease An Okami Sequel?
As long as the game plays like a more modern title. I was struggling by the end to want to keep playing the switch port.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th October (North America)
Obra Dinn will have to come later. Too busy with DQ XI and Witcher 3
Re: Who Needs A Game Boy Classic Edition When You've Got The Analogue Pocket?
This is quite beautiful. I don’t think I wanna pay $200 for it, but that sleek design is tempting.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 12th)
Finished What The Golf on my iPhone, so I’m back to DQXI
Re: Metroidvania Mable & The Wood Arrives On Switch Today With A 10% Launch Discount
I like how this is described. I don’t like the art. I’ll see if it gets good reviews and then I’ll buy it down the line
Re: Poll: Have You Downloaded Mario Kart Tour On Your Mobile Device Yet?
It’s hard to play this when Apple Arcade came out and I can play much better games on my phone — I’ve played almost 9 hrs of What the Golf

Re: Dataminers Uncover Evidence Of Unreleased Super Mario Party DLC
I played once and that was enough. I really don’t get many chances to play games with friends in local play, so we stick to Smash and that’s it
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #9 - The Legend Of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
That Japanese one is kinda bad. Europe for the win

Astral Chain, SNES and/or Divinity 2. I wish my order of Control would arrive, but Amazon keeps delaying it
Re: Poll: Daemon X Machina Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?
What about if you didn’t like either demo? I can sense the newer demo is better, but that didn’t convince me it had changed enough for me to want it

Re: Review: Legend Of The Skyfish - A Poor-Man's Zelda
@Magrane it’s not an 80 (like it says on Metacritic) but it’s not a 4 (according to NLife). I’ve played about 30-45 min. I’d think a game would be more broken if it had a 4 or would be a lot less fun. It’s like a 5.5 - 6 range. It’s low challenge so far. I’ve played through the first 15 stages.
Re: Review: Legend Of The Skyfish - A Poor-Man's Zelda
I bought it after seeing an 80 on metacritic. Surprised it’s a 4 according to NLife
