I hope they offer the ability to download and play people’s games without purchasing the game like with RPG maker FES. I’m not interested in making my own, but I’d like to try out some of the better things the community makes

I heard about this and I’ve always wanted to play this mode

I’m glad I was never suckered into buying this dumb contraption. My pro controller cost me the same and I love that it works with all my games

Slow games week, but I still have tons of games to play on Switch.

I don’t mind that I have to play some of my games on PS4 or XB1, but I’d always love good ports on switch since it’s so easy to tote around. At work, I can set up my monitor and PS4, but it’s so much easier to just pull out my Switch and hop into a game. I want Persona 5 the most from this list

I’ve heard the VR version is more immersive and fun than the non-VR version, so i’ll just wait to see if that comes to PS4. If not, no biggie if I miss out on it

SNES games I’m switch would be amazing. Japan has secret of mana and we don’t? So that’s what I’d want...

@CdrJameson I’ve never played any farming, train, flying or other similar sims, and I’ve always wondered who these games were really for. How do you feel train sims or other similar titles compare to other games? I’m looking for your own personal opinion as to which games you’d prefer less to play than a train sim.

Honestly, I’m not making fun or anything, I’m just curious

Doom 2016 is one of the best shooters I’ve ever played. Super tight controls and map design. I loved it. Can’t wait to play the sequel

I’ve never played Dragon Quest, but i’d be cool with it. Just as long as no DLC is a Fire Emblem character. Hope the P5 release on switch turns out to be true

So many Switch game delays. I was really miffed that Dark souls remastered came out on PS4 and XB1 nearly 6 months before the Switch version. However, the Switch version ran super smooth and I loved it. If you have to delay, make it a solid port.

Unfortunately I’m busy with papers for school, but it’s my final semester. So if I have any free time, it’ll be playing some matches of Smash Bros or starting Guacamelee 2

Whew! I was scared I might’ve been the only one turned off by these statements, but I’m glad others have reaffirmed my feelings. The gameplay doesn’t look awful, but it just hasn’t shown me anything silly and unique yet. We’ll see how this does.

Thinking about picking up Guacamelee 2 before the 10% off runs out. From this week, only Gris interests me, but I can wait

I really wish they’d make new Katamari games. I’ve played this one to death on PS2 and it’s the only game we play on PS2 anymore. Still, I don’t think I need it on the go

The gameplay I’ve seen of this has me uninterested — at least at full price — so I hope the announcement is pretty good at least. Bringing back 1&2 for Switch would be cool

I only wanted Metal Gear Solid on the PSone Classic. I’m glad I got a SNES mini instead

Nintendo is as tone deaf as Apple. They will pick what they want to sell us and sell it at a premium, knowing full well that their customer base will buy and rebuy their mediocre products. The NES collection is not what the fans want, but it’s sure the only thing they wanna give us. They haven’t even revealed January NES games!!

@SwitchForce huh? I’m saying that I don’t like Switch’s terrible connection to the internet. My PS4 works better and that’s why I’d play it there if at all. Not sure why you were talking about graphics...

Watching Season 2 Mrs Maisel while Playing Smash Bros Ultimate

I won’t play it on Switch (if at all). The switch online experience has been mostly terrible for me (even with 100mbps at home) so I don’t trust this to play that well online. If I got this, I’d just play it on my PS4 Pro

Played it on PS4 when it was a free PS Plus title. It's alright. I completed it, but I was glad I didn't pay for it. I recommend it at about $5.

I just finished Dark Souls on my Switch earlier this week. I'm hoping to get back into Okami or Pokemon Pikachu. I'm holding my money for Smash and Guacamelee 2

Loved the first game. After I heard it was announced for Switch, I stopped waiting for a PS4 deal on it. I just wanna play it on the go!

At the price of a single joycon, I can imagine a few cheapo kids buying them for playing smash with friends. (I used to buy $5-15 3rd party controllers for my GameCube or PS2 as a kid) these are pretty ugly though and I can’t imagine using them past Smash or Mario Party

Curious how Nintendo would price these as mobile games. Bowser’s Inside Story is $40 on 3DS, but honestly, I can’t see Nintendo charging anyone that price for a phone game (unless it was free to play and over time). I would totally play Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks on my phone. And I would likely buy whatever gameboy-iPhone contraption they make to play stuff.

My brother and I gameshare digital purchases. I’m glad I didn’t pay $60 for it (since he bought it), but I’m more than happy to play it. I think at $30-40 this game would be well worth the price to me.

@Medic_alert gold coins are 5x as much. You get 300 for a $60 game or 60 if it was a physical title

This kills me a bit inside. I bought a 200gb card for like $10 less this than this price earlier this year. Why couldn’t I have waited?

I really wish they would’ve announced a few new worlds to the game (even as paid DLC). I just can’t imagine getting back into it just to earn some random suits. I do appreciate that they’ve been supporting this and nearly every first party title well after its release.

Playing Breath of the Wild inspired me to play this one. Honestly, I’d tried a few times in my life, but this past Feb, I played through the whole thing in a few days and loved it. It’s not my favorite since Breath of the Wild surpasses it on nearly every front, but I was glad to recognize its contribution to gaming.

This looks good. I wish Nintendo would use this to make DS games playable on switch

Been playing a lot of dark souls remastered lately thanks to the help of a friend who is also playing. If I’m not playing that, I see myself playing Spyro on my PS4 while I listen to an audiobook for school

God of War deserves all the recognition for sure! It’s my GotY. Also, though many on here seem to hate on Fortnite, it is a really well put together game and changes up often enough that it doesn’t get too boring. I’ve played roughly 100 hrs of it on my Switch. Sorry that Spider-Man didn’t get recognized since it was such a great game as well.

I had a serious hankering for Pokémon this week, but I’m glad it subsided. I don’t wanna pay full price for it when I have Smash in less than a month and the Mario Party bundle this weekend

Please put the Metroid Prime Trilogy out for Switch first. I’ve never played any of them and want to get into the franchise

Haven’t played enough Red Dead 2 to accurately rate it. So until I’ve devoted some time to it, I want God of War to win everything it can. I had a lot of fun with Fortnite this summer and so I wouldn’t mind if it won some awards and Celeste was a greater indie than The Messenger. Messenger had funnier writing, but both had great music.

I got this free from PS plus many many months ago. I did finish it, but I didn’t think it was particularly special at all. Definitely not worth the $20 they’re charging. Wait for a sale

@Trajan I bought a SNES classic, but I wish Nintendo would just sell these same games on the Switch. Even if it cost the same price, it would be worth it to me. I haven’t even added ROMs to mine!

I know piracy is technically wrong, but Nintendo isn’t helping the consumer to get any retro games that they want. If they had VC on switch, I would’ve purchased a bunch by now, but they don’t. And they’ve stopped supporting the 3DS and Wii Eshop, so now we have just the WiiU which is garbage and unsupported for modern games. Nintendo! Help us give you money!!!

The game is great! Loved playing it the first year I got my PS4. The audio tracks in the second play through is like watching a movie with director commentary— i loved it too, but I didn’t finish it since I ended up buying more games by then

I’ve nearly completed trine 1 twice. Got distracted by other things years ago and have the collection on PS4 so I’ll just play them there

People who refuse to play games that don’t have physical editions are missing out on great games like this.
