Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 18th)

It was my week off this week but instead of catching up on backlog I ended up being too sick to play anything.figures.
Now I have 2 weeks sick leave so if I'm feeling up to it I want to finish Luigi Mansion 3 as I only have 3 more floors to go..I think.Loved every minute of it.
Also will hopefully put a lot more effort into Fire Emblem Three Houses.

Unfortunately I'm at the end of my week off now so I'm going to make the most of the gaming time I have left before the heavy run up to Christmas in which I doubt I'll have much time to game at all.
It was my birthday yesterday and one of the games I received was Luigi's Mansion 3 which I will no doubt be playing over the weekend alongside Zanki Zero on Ps4 plus some more Three Houses.

I finished Links Awakening a few days so I tried to get back into my 70 plus hour game file of Octopath Traveller but all I seem to be doing now is grinding..lots and lots...So I put that aside again and now I'm about to start Fire Emblem Three Houses.
I will also grab the Luigi theme in Tetris and get some Asphalt 9 done.
On the ps4 it will be Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Trails Of Cold Steel 2.

I never thought I would say this but Asphalt Legends 9 will be my most played game this weekend...in fact it's been played more than my other games just recently since I downloaded it and I don't even usually bother with free to play games but this is awesome!
I'm also nearing the end of Zelda Links Awakening as well as Assassins Creed Odyssey on Ps4..something I never thought would happen but after 200 hours of pure gaming bliss I can finally concentrate on smaller games..

@SterlingEyes Both games are pretty overwhelming to be honest.I felt the same way with Skyrim back on the Xbox 360.You start the main quest, get sidetracked by a sidemission,go off to do that and then get side tracked by ANOTHER side mission.I ended up playing 104 hours on it.The Witcher I think is similar but if you just stick to the main quests you should be ok.Although some side missions actually make a difference in the main one overall so it's worth seeking them out.

Assassins Creed Odyssey..nearly 200 hours and counting.I LOVE this game but seriously does it ever end? There are other games I want to play.lol
Zelda Links Awakening..absolutely loving this game still. It helps I never played the original version but I got to say I prefer Zelda games like these than the open world type.
May have time to play something else, possibly some Octopath Traveller which I haven't touched since Awakening..
Enjoy your weekend all.

Re: Video: 16 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In October

Wazeddie22

The amount of games releasing is absolutely ridiculous and overwhelming. It wouldn't be so bad if I didant want many of them!My backlog is already huge and that's not even including my PS4 backlog.
Games I will definitely be buying or putting on my birthday/Christmas list are..
LM3
Little Town Hero
A Hat On Time
Super Monkey Ball
I also have The Alliance Alive on pre-order plus preorders on Ps4 games Trails Of Cold Steel 3 and Atelia Ryza.
And all this is not to mention the fact I still have games from other months I've wanted such as Three Houses and Astral Chain..

On the Switch I'll still be playing Octopath Traveller...the game that never seems to end..or it does and I'm just not good enough to see it.
Another game that I'm convinced really has no ending that I'm still playing after 150 hours is Assassins Creed Odyssey.Fantastic game and just started Chapter 8.Not sure how many chapters there are but there is still a fair bit of the map still to explore.
Also I'm going to give that Dark Crystal series on Netflix a go later as I'm loving the look of the game that's supposed to be out soon.I loved the film back in the day and It looks like they got the look and feels of the original spot on.

After having a bad week being ill I have hardly got any gaming done at all but now after promising my moody boss I'll be back to work next week I need to seriously dig in to my gaming catalogue...starting with the Snes library..out of those twenty I have only played Zelda A Link To The Past which I'm sure is the best.
I'll also continue my adventure in Octopath which and some Yakuza Zero or Assassins Creed Odyssey on Ps4.

Re: Nintendo Shares Colourful Graphic Of All The Recent Announcements For Switch

Deadly Premonition 2 was the biggest surprise for me!Absolutely loved the first one back on the Xbox 360 so will definitely be picking up that.
Others I'm excited for are:
Trials Of Mana,
Xenoblade Chronicles,
Luigi's Mansion 3,
Tokyo Mirage Sessions,
Little Town Hero and Zelda Links Awakening..
To think I only bought the Switch because of Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle...

Re: Video: 14 Exciting New Games Coming To The Nintendo Switch In September

Wazeddie22

Links Awakening is an obvious one as I have that on preorder...never played the original so very excited!
Untitled Goose Game,Final Fantasy VIII,Ori And The BlindForest are the others I'll be buying Day one..or the same month anyway..
And possibly that AI:The Somnium Files..a game that I hadn't heard of until yesterday..it looks ace!
Unbelievable amount of games coming out..just wish I had time to play them.I'm still only half way through playing Assassins Creed Odyssey which I started in April.lol

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 31st)

Wazeddie22

I'm pretty jealous of all the people playing Astral Chain/Three Houses but I really don't have time to buy or start a new game until I've knocked at least one game off my backlog.
So my gameplan is :
Octopath Traveller,Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Collection Of Mana on the Switch and Assassins Creed Odyssey,Yakuza Zero,Dragon Quest Builders 2 and Man Of Medan on the Ps4

Re: Poll: Astral Chain Is Out Today, Are You Getting It?

Wazeddie22

If i wasn't still playing Octopath Traveller and Zelda Breath Of The Wild since launch and if I hadn't of just bought The Mana Collection and also hadn't just preorderd Zelda Links Awakening then yes..I would of bought this Day One..along with Fire Emblem Three Houses..

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 24th)

Wazeddie22

This weekend will be all about The Mana Collection which arrived early and to be honest I totally forgot I had it on order!
I'm determined to get that Tetris 99 Fire Emblem theme too so will be playing a lot of that.
Also started Yakuza Zero on the Ps4 so will be seeing what all the fuss is about with the series.
Oh yeah and Dragon Quest Builders 2..can't forget about that.

Re: Review: Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition - This Anime Adaptation Misses The Target

Wazeddie22

Like I mentioned on the sister site earlier I have always been interested in playing this series of games but due to time, backlog and not really knowing where to start (plus not ever having watched the anime) I never got round to it.Of course now I have seen the new one in action my interest has finally hit a high and I'm bound to try one soon.
To be honest Fatal Bullet is the one that I like the look of the most and despite this game receiving a naff review I have seen enough gameplay on YouTube to know I'll most likely enjoy it.
