It's the weekend! After a long week of unhappy Super Smash Bros. players and excitement surrounding an uppity, overly-English Pokémon bird, we've finally reached the point where we can sit down and have a good old gaming session or two.
Some of the hardworking Nintendo Life team have shared their thoughts below, and we'd love for you to get involved via our poll and comment sections as always. Enjoy!

Originally, I planned to sit down and revisit Koholint Island this weekend like most of the Switch-owning world, but after briefly firing Zelda: Link's Awakening up last night after it unlocked (I literally wandered around Mabe Village in awe and saved after 2 minutes), I’m trying to talk myself out of it. You see, the minor framerate issues in the starting area gave me the excuse that perhaps I should wait for an inevitable performance patch. Breath of the Wild got various patches and there’s no reason to assume this won’t, either. The slight judder was only a minor distraction and apparently it’s not a consistent issue once you’ve started the adventure proper… but I’ve got a Mount Tamaranch’s worth of other things to play and it’s hardly like I’m in a race to avoid spoilers with this one.
IF I can resist, I might save Link’s Awakening and play Untitled Goose Game, Fire Emblem: Three Houses or Astral Chain instead. That’s a big if, though.

Rejoice, for I am back, as it was foretold on the day Link awakes. This incredible, luxurious Summer of Switch came to its astonishing conclusion yesterday with The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and Untitled Goose Game, who join up with Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina to pretty much ensure zero social life for this current weekend (...and foreseeable future!)
My game of the week is none other than my left analogue-drifting Pro Controller! Make your gamer life extra-hardcore by introducing random left swerves on straights for both Horizon Chase Turbo and GRID Autosport; be baffled when your goalkeeper randomly starts running towards your own net with the ball in FIFA 19; watch in disbelief as Captain Falcon simply walks off stage on his last stock in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Random lefts: The hardcore gamer experience of your lifetime!

Unfortunately my copy of Link's Awakening is still in the mail, so this weekend I'll instead be focusing my attention on the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Mini loaded with 40 legendary games. I think I'm probably most excited about playing through Mega Man: The Wily Wars. And then there are various other classics like Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage.
When I'm not playing the Mega Drive, I'll probably be revisiting a bunch of SNES classics on the Switch and playing some Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Heck, I might even pick up Untitled Goose Game while it's on sale. It looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Whenever I pop downstairs, that beautiful Zelda: Link's Awakening Limited Edition looks up at me from the dining table (where it's currently sat for unknown reasons). I look at it longingly and feel content, and chuckle to myself as I remember the fact that the box feels strangely like a box of deluxe chocolates.
But then I snap out of it and remember that before I dive headfirst into Koholint Island, I must finish up with Astral Chain. I've been loving the Legion-wielding madness over the past few weeks and feel like I'm finally reaching the end of the story, so I'm pretty determined to get things all wrapped up over the next few days before tucking into Zelda.
Oh, and the goose. I'll probably end up buying the goose because, well, how can you not?

Played through Untitled Goose Game which was a real blast. Going to try to squeeze in some Link’s Awakening before my copy of AI: The Somnium Files arrives (hopefully) next week but I’m currently quite addicted to Puzzle Quest.
This week I will be mostly playing
Link’s Awakening NX
Spyro 2 on Switch. Really getting into hunting down orbs now. The challenges are fun, water not so fun.
Finishing the last few chapters of astral chain. Completely loving it. The combat is top notch, haven't had this much fun in a while. Also loving the music too. And the plot, even though it is full of clichés, there are actually quite a few surprising turns that's making me really want to see what's gonna happen next. Would love a sequel!
Link's Awakening of course. The orchestral score especially is truly terrific! Also a bit of Hollow Knight probably.
Aside from Link's Awakening (which is occupying my brain every second I'm awake), I beat Spyro the Dragon on the Reignited Trilogy right before LA showed up at my doorstep. I'll probably also squeeze in some backlog stuff: Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mega Man 7 off of Legacy Collection 2, and maybe some Pokémon Gold Version.
Girlie 3DS games for this weekend. 🤓
1. Style Savvy : Fashion Forward
2. JS Girls Doki Doki Model Challenge
3. AKB48 + Me
What about Ni No Kuni? That's what I'm playing now and it's super cute! Just what I need in between studies.
I'm playing Animal Crossing New Leaf at bed time. AND I'm on hour 23 of the DQ XI S Demo. Except, now I've pretty much done all I could until the game comes out...which is taking way to long to get here! There's only so much you can do between the door you enter to get to Hotto and the point where the game tells you your demo has ended. So it's been a level up gold collecting fest. I was going to buy Links Awakening but forgot the game even existed after experiencing DQ XI...Maybe I'll get that at another time. Oh, I'd love to say Pikmin 4 was in there, but the game doesn't even get mentioned anymore.
@Chimaj I need to check that game out!
@BenAV Untitled Goose Game caught my eye but I loathe stealth games and mere stealth sections (BotW's aggravated me to no end if this is anything to go by) so I'm on the fence. Mind telling me how heavy this game is on having to be stealthy? The review mentioned it not being that mandatory.
I'll be doing my usual Animal Crossing NL dailies/weeklies and Minecraft multiplayer things. Mario Party The Top 100 for singleplayer, maybe some Super Kirby Clash and/or Kirby's Dream Land 3 (SNES Online) for multiplayer, though I'd like to squeeze some Overcooked 2 in as well. Still the biggest blast I had in multiplayer that, it's such an amazing game.
Have a nice weekend, everyone, and happy gaming!
A bit of Links Awakening even if I'm not too impressed with it, not the game which is great but the performance. Whilst it's great a lot of the time but too often it has its hiccups and I'm not too fond of using the analogue stick for what is just 8 directional movement, seriously why is there no dpad support? I've just started Devil May Cry 5 so I'll be playing a lot more of that and some more Astral Chain too
the Link's Awakening art is official art, right? if not, please credit the artist
Links awakening, star wars pinball... Still waiting for my physical copy of astral chain
@Joe-b You should! Feels like playing a Studio Ghibli movie. Just warming my heart.
I'm taking a break from Diablo 3 to play Links Awakening (surprise, surprise ) and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.
Hopefully I can make a dent in those two before DragonQuest XI: Echoes of an Extremely Long Game Title hits next week.
Had to go back to a previous save in FE after a monumental c0ck up. Starting to feel like the end can't come soon enough so I can get stuck into Astral Chain.
UGG (honk) here and there.
Slay the Spire. Well over 50 hours now and my goty. Probably an all time favourite now too.
@Chimaj Ok, I will. Funny how I went from wanting Links Awakening to, "well, DQ XI is to amazing to wait on, then TOWN has to be played, Now Ni No Kuni. Poor Link will have to wait! I will check Ni No Kuni out. Thanks! You owe it to yourself to play DQ.
@KarateLuigi You really don't have be that stealthy at all. I had a lot of times that I tried to sneak stuff by the humans but got caught so I'd just run around and grab other stuff to distract their attention elsewhere. Just causing a lot of chaos gets the job done well enough, haha.
Overwhelmed with games I want to play sitting on my switch:
Links awakening
Ni No Kuni
Darksiders
Super Metroid
ALTTP
Ori and the blind forest demo
Going to tackle Links awakening first.
Also going to pick up DQ11 next week - so little time.
@Chimaj
And? Is it good? Performance? Glitches? Framerate? Still on the fence here
Grid Autosport. Finally a decent depiction of motor racing on the Switch. The graphics are very impressive, especially the lighting. Really impressed with it and can see myself ploughing many hours in to it.
@Joe-b I know, too many great games now. I played Link's Awakening on Game Boy as a child, therefore it'll have to wait untill I played other games new to me first, but I will get it someday. Yeah, I'm getting Dragon Quest XI for my birthday in the beginning of October!
Bought myself a revised Switch and gave my older(pristine condition) to my niece. So I will be setting hers. And playing with her Mario Kart and Smash. It'll be fun! 😃
@aVagabond I've only played 2 hours so far but it seems smooth to me. I'm not an expert on the subject though.
No Sayonara Wildhearts in the poll? 😢
Grinding my monk ready for GR100 in Diablo 3
LINKS AWAKENING!
Happy gaming everyone!
Picked up a Lite yesterday which is my first Switch. Spending more time searching the eShop and starting my library than actually playing games but dabbled in some SNES (aaah... Super Tennis flashbacks).
Xenoblade chronicles 2 and maybe a bit of snes app, same as likely to be for the next couple of months at least given how much gaming time i get.
Got stuck into Links Awakening last night and like someone said above, I'm not too impressed with the performance. The framerate dips are very noticeable and happen far too frequently. I think I'll hang off playing any further until (hopefully) a patch arrives. I bought Grid Autosport last night so I'll be playing lots of that. I might get started with the Dragons Quest IX demo too. I've never played a DQ before so I'm hoping the demo will convince me I need to buy the game next week. Really can't wait for Jedi Outcast 2 on Tuesday.
Currently, thinking about playing Yo-Kai Watch on 3DS and progress a little further. Not sure about other games, I might lean for Super Lucky's Tale on PC.
Link's Awakening. I wouldn't mind beating it before DQ11S comes out, and I wouldn't mind beating DQ11S before Trails of Cold Steel 3 comes out. And the circle of RPGs continues. Not complaining at all.
@aVagabond I have yet to see a frame rate drop that all the reviews said there were. Maybe because I'm only playing in docked mode.
Links Awakening mostly for me. Amazed at how much of the opening section I have etched into my brain since first playing it in 1993. Tempted to pick up Untitled Goose Game as well to be a jerk for a while...
I need to make some headroom in Link To The Past on the SNES Online...I've only played it for about an hour back in the 90s (yep I was a Sega fan) but sunk a few hours into it last week and really liked it. Yoshi's Island is amazing too. Plus I want to reignite my F-Zero time attack war on Death Wind with my mate so that'll be a thing.
Wife just got me Lets Go Pikachu! for my birthday, so I've been digging into that! Some wierd choices, like catching wild pokemon to grind levels, but other than that, I'm really enjoying it!
Ori demo and some shantae.
@Noid It's official. 🙂
Already playing Grid and majestically sucking at it (especially since I decided to try and throw out all the assists from the start), but having fun nonetheless. Also on the menu are BotW and Layton, a possible visit to Tetris 99 for that Kirby theme and only time will tell if I'll be able to squeeze in something else. It'll be all consoles anyway, although this week I was pleasantly surprised to verify that my PC "setup" can actually run Prey passably. On 1.70 GHz and Intel 4400, no less! Either the game is brilliantly optimized or RAM matters more than some high-end rig owners claim.
Speaking of PC front, I also let the cheap b*****d in me run amok and threw Rockstar Games launcher on board, purely to tick GTA SA as an overduly "legit" game in my collection. Can't seem to get the old nigh-complete saves to work with it, but trying a bit of a new game felt quite nostalgic, even though I doubt I'll ever bother to replay it all. Also added an EGS account although I don't plan to install the current freebies anytime soon (and let's face it, a whole lot of the stuff Epic gives out is already on Switch) so I have no need to install the launcher either.
Paper mario ttyd final boss then links awakening.
Still working my way towards 100%ing hyrule warriors with help from the kids and raid mode in Revelations 2 on my own.
Trying to complete my first route of Fire emblem three houses before Dragonquest xi comes out in a week. Will go back and do other routes after the influx of Xmas games has passed as it is superbly addictive
Ai somnium files and no nu kuni for me
@cmk8 what is hyrule warriors like in handheld? Been meaning to get it but heard that it overheats the switch.
BOTW for me. Looking for 3 more memories. Links awakening is gonna have to be an Xmas pressie for me as I have too many games to play atm. Hopefully be patched the performance by then. Happy gaming all
Being at sea for another few weeks, I just managed to download Untitled Goose Game (very slowly through 1bar of 3G!)
But I have been having a blast with Dragon Quest Builders 2 recently & I'm stuck on Guacamelee 2 so they should all keep me occupied for a while yet.
Link's Awakening, Tetris 99 for the skin, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for that tournament.
bit disappointed by zelda, confusing ,already had to google how to get pass the racoon
I won’t have much time to game since me and my girlfriend are going camping after I get off work this morning, but when I get back, and if I have the time, I’m definitely playing The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. I started it last night and it’s so good, and the OST is incredible.
@BenAV Hmm, I see. This does sound more palatable to me XD thank you very much!
I really spoiled myself this weekend. Sayonara Wild Hearts, Untitled Goose Game, Link’s Awakening, Golazo! And I’ve yet to finish Astral Chain, which I’m enjoying immensely and don’t want to move too swiftly through. I’ve really embraced the glut of good games this season... it’s “Bought ‘em!” Autumn!
Ahh... still working on Astral Chain, but I couldn’t resist Link’s Awakening, so I’m downloading that right now. I was going to get the physical edition, but the download is so small and I’ll likely never sell it and do yearly playthroughs of the game.
I heard mixed things about the chamber dungeons, but considering how much I liked the jumbled layouts in Cadence, I think I’ll get some value from that.
Links Awakening of course! Got the Dreamer edition and that art book is lovely, just lovely!
As for the game itself, it’s just such a joy to play. I love it.
Almost finished Links Awakening, just completed the Turtle Rock Dungeon so not long to go now.
Tomorrow I'll get stuck into Untitled Goose Game. I'm amused at the hype it generated so have to see what the fuss is.
@gaga64 I understand and respect this reference.
I'll continue Divinity: Original Sin 2. Amazing game and a great port
Link’s Awakening and Control
Nothing Nintendo-themed this week. There's a big RPG that's taking up all my game-time right now.
I'm around 30 hours into my first Playthrough of Persona 5. The whole Medjed plotline just started up.
The game didn't initially click entirely for me despite the unique premise and just sort of felt like just another Persona game, then I discovered that Demon Negotiations were brought back from the P2 days, and my investment in the game just sort of snowballed from there.
While I didn't expect to like the character much from their introduction, I was surprised to find that Makoto has quickly become one of my favorite characters in the franchise. As a compulsive yes-man who dedicated my life to studying simply because I was good at it and because it was expected of me, only to then realize that I had no semblance of a social life outside of academics or any real meaningful personal agency by the time I reached adulthood... Well, to say that the character hit a chord with me would be an understatement.
Definitely going to send some time with the Genesis mini! 😁
Just links Awakening for me. Have been playing it for an hour. Liking it so far but there are just some nitpicks I don't like.
The fps drops are annoying but not deal breaking for me. The 2 that are more annoying to me is the 8 directional movement rather then 360 degree movement (which I know can't be fixed) and the the blurry border (which can be fixed in a patch to have an option to disable it).
Links awaking feels very simple not quite how I remember it. The first time round, or the second time?
@CrimsonMoonMist That’s cool. Congrats on getting the PS4. Lots of great games in the library.
I recommend picking up Bloodborne, once you finish off your first batch of games. Just thinking about my memories of that game gets me anxious and my heart racing. Not good for your health, but a good game nonetheless.
I finished Link’s Awakening last night (We’ll all of the vanilla content, anyway! Color dungeon and Dampe up next) and I am 100% satisfied. If Ninty patches some of those rough transitions than swell, but the game is so good I really don’t care. Now to find all of those new seashell locations...
Sega Genesis Mini. Fire Emblem Three Houses
Smash with some friends probably. Also Untitled Goose Game and DOOM II. I'm on level 25 of DOOM II, and I'm pretty impressed with how long the game is. I'll tackle the rest of DOOM 3 after that (started it but didn't finish it). Then I might go back and try Thy Flesh Consumed and the Master Levels. And then...I'm ready for DOOM 64. Gosh, I wish that one were coming out this month or early next month. I don't want it to release at the exact same time as DOOM Eternal.
@CrimsonMoonMist "While I didn't expect to like the character much from their introduction, I was surprised to find that Makoto has quickly become one of my favorite characters in the franchise. Sounds just like me also.
Ni No Kuni Remastered. LOVE IT!
I'll be playing some Tetris99, to wind down fra a stressful week of event planning.
Watching some Mario Odyssey on the side, as my better half just started that one.
Fire Emblem Three Houses for me. Maddening mode is a blast so far! After that I’ll probably take a break for until Infernal mode is released, I’m on my fourth playthrough (Church route) and feeling burnout start to hit.
I’ve also been trying out Apple Arcade. There are a lot of games on there that I wanted to get on the Switch but was having a bit of trouble budgeting for, so it’s been great so far. Blazed through Sayonara Wild Hearts and loved it so much I bought the soundtrack immediately afterwards. Might try NeoCab or Overland next.
Found Link’s Awakening on sale, so i picked it up, despite being nowhere near finished with Three Houses. I’ll be stopping by Tetris 99 to nab the Kirby theme, plus hopefully putting another dent in Dragon Quest VIII.
@NotTelevision I second your recommendation. Bloodborne is my favorite PS4 game.
I just cannot buy Links Awakening at £50 when I’ve played it a million times, needs to come down to £35 before I’m tempted. Recently downloaded Divinity Original Sin 2 and I am playing this an unhealthy amount currently 😊
Link's Awakening, the art and music is superb. Sayonara Wild Hearts - another game that I'm in awe of the artwork and music. The game takes basic concepts and makes them feel fresh. This game seemed to come out of nowhere!
Links Awakening for me.
I am very lucky my friend got this yesterday but didn't enjoy it and i got Astral Chain last week and didn't enjoy that.
We traded games so i gave him Astral Chain and he gave me Links Awakening.
Best trade ever as we both got games we enjoy and our money didn't go to waste.
Links Awakening, Breath of the Wild, Link to the Past, Either Final Fantasy 8 or Zodiac Ages(maybe both).
Zelder, of course, and the Ori demo.
I’m finally playing Dead Cells after picking it up in a sale months ago and letting it sit there in my backlog purgatory. I decided to start after I admitted to myself that I had quickly become bored with Dragon’s Dogma.
Holy Moley, why didn’t everyone tell me how brilliant this game is? Oh, right, everybody did go on about how amazing this game was. I have no idea why I held off for so long. I reckon it’s already up there in my top three Switch games and I’m only about 8 hours in.
My 4yr old granddaughter and I are making oatmeal chocolate chip cookies this morning, then I'm playing Link's Awakening and Ni No Kuni for the rest of the weekend. I've been playing LA docked and haven't noticed any frame rate drops.
Next weekend is gonna be all DQXIS. I've played thru the demo 3 times and may run thru it once more if the wait gets to me.
Resident Evil 2 (N64) - Just starting my first Leon A playthrough.
Killzone: Mercenary (Vita) - Still playing online here and there.
Asphalt 5 (Windows Phone) - Nearing the end now.
Zoo Tycoon Friends (Windows Store) - Can't do much since the server closure, but still having fun.
I've been playing Celeste again after Chapter 9 dropped, and it's still a fantastic game. I'll also probably play some Smash Ultimate, Super Mario Maker 2, maybe the Ori demo, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
Not a 60 € 15hours game.
More Astral Chain and the Ori demo. The new info about the upcoming Fire Emblem DLC has me questioning if there's any point starting Three Houses before April 2020 but Switch's lineup is so packed that it doesn't matter if there is no point.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2. My copy of link's awakening will arrive on Wednesday.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Animal Crossing
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Mario Kart 7
Timesplitters: Future Perfect
I picked up the Spyro Trilogy yesterday. Not my favorite jam but I figured it's a good filler in between Civ and Fire Emblem sessions, and it's the kind of thing my sprog can enjoy as well. So far it's living up to expectations, and the updated graphics are just charming.
Also downloaded the Khmer and Indonesia pack for Civ VI and started a new game with that installed. Civ VI is now officially tied with BOTW as my most played games. Can't wait for the release of the Rise and Fall expansion.
Gonna have a go at BotW's Trial of the Sword before I go beat Ganon one last time for the true ending and probably put the game down once and for all (until it sucks me back in again).
Otherwise, chugging through the excellent Doom 2016, Starfox on SNES and might boot up Kamiko for the first time!
I'm playing this game called move my family of 4 to my new house. Currently I'm stuck on this level called little sleep.
I played that! It was exciting AND a total grind. Couldn't get my kids to level-up.
@Razer And that's exactly why physical is the best option for the users!!
(Insert Tron gif...)
@Dromosus I evangelized for Dead Cells as much as I could!! Seriously an amazing game. I still go back to it very regularly. Motion Twin are a group worth supporting, too. I can't wait to see what they do next.
@Xombie13 I finished the main game of that about a year ago, it was so exhausting but well worth it! Still haven't 100%ed it though. SO many boxes in the attic still...
Congratulations to you and yours.
Making my way to the fourth dungeon in Links Awakening. I am really enjoying it so far. It looks simply stunning. Next week DQ11. So much to play, so little time...
This is my last lazy weekend for awhile, so I've been taking full advantage of it. I recently started Mega Man Battle Network 2 on the Wii U VC and am enjoying it so far; I've played the rest of the series but somehow missed this one back in the day.
I also plan to dust off my Varia Suit in Metroid: Samus Returns. I've played the original game but haven't gotten to this remake quite yet. Should be interesting.
Last but not least, I'll play some Pokemon Go when I'm out on my walk later today.
Happy gaming!
Still pretty much playing the same games as last week. My wife and I have gotten past the 4th boss in River City Girls, which is a surprisingly hard game. However, every single time we play it, we find it a little more fun than each previous play session. We'll finally have a good chunk of time for it tonight, with my daughter staying at her grandma's house for the night.
I started Astral Chain last weekend, but I've only been able to put about 2 hours into it. Combat is clicking with me, and I'm in love with the gorgeous style of the game. I just want to play more.
I also downloaded that Ori and the Blind Forest demo last night, and within 15 minutes I was sold on the game. That opening to the game really hit me in the feels.
@JasmineDragon i 100% agree.
All my main games are physical, but indies digital. I only have one big game that is digital and i sorta regret buying that digitally but the price difference was a bit much.
I got Dragons Dogma on digital sale for £18 while the physical that i wanted is still £35. Nearly double.
@JasmineDragon thank you, we went from renting to owning so when we are done I'm sure it will equate to completing Dark Souls or something like that
Not much for me this week. Working on finishing my fantasy novel. Other than that I still plan to find time to play Radiant Historia: PC on 3DS.
Not that I'm playing it but I'm surprised no one at NL is playing ni no kuni, That's a big release right?
As for me, I'm waiting patiently to play links awakening, only 7 more days! In the meantime, I'm finishing up jet kave adventure, and Sydney Hunter today. Since I'll have a full weeks worth of free time. I'll probably play some snes games on switch. Might try to Speed run Alttp( by speed run, by no means am I saying i can do it in a few hours, but more like 12-15), maybe og LoZ, super Metroid and SMW. I'm on the fence about playing the ori demo even though i already preloaded the game
@Xombie13 Nah yours is so much harder, the boss fight of having to adjust to the new place is still to come.
I just finished Dark Souls last week and i can attest to this. You win.
@jockmahon you need to take attention to the text on this game
Playing through Genesis Collection on Switch and going to stop into my Contra and Castlevania collections on Switch to play their Genesis titles. Trying to not run to the store to get the Genesis mini because I already have basically all the Sega games I'd wish to play on Switch. Though an M2 Super Hangon would be a day 1 buy from me. Other than that, going to revisit some Daemon X Machina missions and blow some more stuff up while skipping dialogue.
In the middle of my second play through of fire emblem with the black eagles.
Also, slowly working my way through Astral Chain.
My copy of Zelda just came, but it's going to have to wait until I finish Astral Chain.
Also, been playing Castle crashers on and off.
Link's Awakening, but I'm pacing myself. Two dungeons finished already. I also changed my the cooling setup of my PC, so testing it out with Doom.
Well I don't know... There is no game from the best gaming franchise that released this week...
But to be fair won't be playing much as I am on leave and travelling a bit for a change. Meanwhile I have also started DQ VIII (screw my life) and I will need to have a look at the ori demo even though I am already sold as I Love metroidvanias and the artstyle and music of this game is just A M A Z I N G
Yesterday I added Yooka-Laylee, SUPERHOT, and Untitled Goose Game to my insatiable backlog, and despite all three being incredibly disparate in theme, style, and gameplay, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve played of all three!
I’m also enjoying Bastion, which I picked up on sale (on impulse, might I add) a while back and just now got around to playing. The game’s narrator and storytelling really grabs you from the get-go, and is unlike anything I’ve played before.
Needless to say, I love (N)indies! 😃
I’ve also been playing Smash Bros, SNES Online (specifically F-ZERO and Super Metroid), and Tetris 99.
Everyone have a fantastic, safe, blessed weekend! ☺️
Because I've posted on Pushsquare here's the short version..
Ps4
Assassins Creed Odyssey.
Trails Of Cold Steel 2.
Switch
Octopath Traveller.
Tetris 99.
Zelda Links Awakening
Ori And The BlindForest.
Links Awakening. And maybe some super Mario party
Link's Awakening. Nothing else matters to me right now.
Just Link’s Awaking for me. And the Ori demo.
My time will probably be divided between links awakening and Tetris 99 so I can get the new theme.
1. F1 2019 (Singapore GP on Sunday 😃)
2. MHW: Iceborne
3. Borderlands 3
4. Back on Fire Emblem (great bang for the buck)
I wanted to play Zelda but my copy hasn't arrived yet and its even on a back stock at where I'm buying it from. A hint it was cheaper than Amazon!
@jockmahon
The racoon is litterly saying that he cant stand magic powder yust as the witch haha.
On topic

Ni no kuni: wrath of the white witch 💯💪💪... My daughter love it.
Link's Awakening, Astral Chain and Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Link's Awakening, Astral Chain, and GRID Autosport, all on my new Switch Lite!
I’l be finishing the Ori demo before jumping into Links’s Awakening. Having never played the original I’m pretty excited. After LA I’ll be playing the Goose game.
Picked up LOZ LA so mostly that. Also trying to get through Blasphemous (dang that game is hard) Tried FE again, still hate it. Gonna do some pvp in Dark Souls some this weekend. Probably some castle crashers and something spoopy to get in the mood of the holiday.
World of Warcraft Classic
Excuse me people!
Why is Untitled Goose game only 11%!?
Get those numbers up!!!
skyim and risk of rain until i die. im saving kinks awekiening since it is a kind of short game and the frame rate is quite often appauling
Super Mario Party and Tetris 99 on the Switch. God of War on ps4. Started God of War recently, and there are no other single player games until it's done!
Castle crashers for me!
Tetris 99 event for the Kirby theme. Also some Kirby Triple Deluxe and Wind Waker Wii U.
I did receive Links Awakening yesterday but am hoping a patch will be released before I play it (Wind Waker will take me ages anyway as I'm trying to get all heart pieces and figurines).
@skulltulips Hope Trial of the Sword goes ok for you. It can get really frustrating, haven't managed to complete it myself yet.
@h15c0r3r yeah each to their own.
I have a huge physical game collection. I actually don't feel like i really own the game until i own the physical product itself.
My Xbox One, 3DS, Switch and even my PS4 before i sold it is all physical.
Hardly a soul playing Fire Emblem, despite them releasing a "big" DLC pack.
Unsurprising.
@Northwind haha oops nah not intentional. i did used to call my link ‘kink’ in alttp. i go with pink now
I've been playing quite a bit of Link's Awakening recently. I also got my Genesis Mini in the mail so I'll be playing that, as well.
The Goose is loose in my hoose....
Finished Untitled Goose Game already, but every moment was an absolute blast, comedy game of the year!
@Chimaj Yah, I can't wait till Friday when it releases!
I was happy to have finished the second Spyro game in the collection the morning I got my hands on Link’s Awakening.
I may power through Zelda, but I am already missing Spyro. I suppose it’s a good problem to have.
Darksiders 2 comes out on thursday, that is one of my very favorites and I couldn’t be more excited.
@SterlingEyes I hope you get to Darksiders soon!!! It’s a wonderful series and the first one is just perfect on Switch - I didn’t encounter a single glitch and the graphics have aged wonderfully
Thought this weekend i’d polish off my Pokédexes by hitting up the Pokemon Bank and play Pokémon Y and Pokémon Moon .Also enjoying a lengthy mission in Steamworld Heist and not taking the online cheapness too seriously in Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
P.s @Anti-Matter How did you upload pics??😮 Terima kasih!
I'll be finishing Lifeless Planet, then playing the 2nd OPUS game.

I caved in and bought Grid. Loving it. There's been a couple of occasions where I've dragged a mangled heap of metal over the finish line...
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Any time a new Zelda game is released everything else is put on hold (played the original release years ago but not to completion so some stuff will be new to me).
Star Wars Pinball
Not to much time for gaming this weekend, since I'm working:( Managed to play a couple of hours of Fire Emblem though.
@Donutsavant yeah it’s a gorgeous game. I’m about 3-4 hours in but it’s not hooked me yet.
I’ll probably go back to it after links awakening. It’s a bit more hack and slash and a little less Zelda than I was expecting
Still SMT Strange Journey for me.
@h15c0r3r i do like my indie games digital and very old ports like Final Fantasy 7/8 and i have a lot more of those games than my main games.
I think the main reason i still buy physically is for situation like what i explained earlier to Jasmine - i got Astral Chain last week and hated it but i was stuck with it, my friend got Zelda Awakening on the Friday and he didn't enjoy that either.
So we both had brand new games we didn't enjoy - perfect trade - i love Zelda and he loves Astral Chain. This and that whole "i feel like i own them".
But yeah i legit see the benefit in owning digitally myself and I'd never buy those physical Indie games.
I'm gonna play A Links Awakening. I love it this far!
@Benjoo it plays pretty well (especially compared to older iterations) and haven't really noticed any major warming.
Battery doesn't seem to last more than about 2 hours but I do have a launch Switch so the battery is never great.
Great game if you get bitten by the collecting bug - far too easy to lose a lot of time in it.
Like with most people in the comment section, I have spent my weekend playing Link's Awakening on the Nintendo Switch.
Still loving mario maker 2
I'm too hooked on Ark Survival Evolved PvE
