Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Has Exceeded Expectations Following Strong Sales Outside Of Japan

Wazeddie22

I didant buy the game on release because to be honest I never even liked the look of the Xenoblade series but eventually I decided i wanted a meaty rpg to try so gave it a go...and so glad I did!The game is a blast and I'm loving all the characters and gameplay style. The only trouble is I never imagined it would be THAT meaty of an rpg...I still have yet to start Octopath Traveller,Ys VIII and continue Shining Resonance!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 29th)

Wazeddie22

Just back from a few days in London after seeing Kylie at the O2 so will be glad to get back to gaming.
I'll most probably be finishing and getting the plat for Spiderman as I'm right at the end with all optional stuff done and dusted.
Obviously I'll be continuing my amazing adventure with Dragon Quest XI too which is just an awesome game!
For the Switch Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will get a look in and I've recently started an Etrian Odyssey game on the 3ds which I am loving.

Re: Happy 129th Birthday, Nintendo

Wazeddie22

I remember my first interaction with anything Nintendo based was when I was about 7 and was given the 'Fire' Game & Watch handheld..at the time I thought it was absolutely amazing and so clever that something like that existed..
Then again..everything is amazing at that age lol.
Happy Birthday Nintendo!

Re: The Switch Version Of Dragon Quest XI Has A Special Name

Wazeddie22

I would of definitely bought this for Switch if it had come out at the same time as Ps4 but being my most anticipated game of the year and absolutely loving anything to do with Dragon Quest I just couldn't wait for it.I'm in my forties and not getting any younger so I'm not going to waste time waiting about.
For all the people that have got a lot more patience than me..good on you,the game is absolutely brilliant!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 15th)

Wazeddie22

Well seeing as Dragon Quest XI was my most hyped game of the year it would be pretty strange if I weren't playing it...so..yeah..a LOT of Dragon Quest, a fair bit of Spiderman and a fair bit of Xenoblade Chronicles 2..

@Expa0 Great taste,Persona 5 is awesome! But 60 hours?...um...no..nowhere near the end unless you are trying to rush it.Took me,116 hours to complete on a normal playthrough lol

Re: Final Fantasy VII Is Finally Coming To A Nintendo Console

Wazeddie22

This announcement totally blew me away!I was NOT expecting this in a million years!
Still, even though I have played all Final Fantasy games i can't help but get excited at playing this lot on the Switch...but seriously guys, like a lot of people have mentioned..where is Final Fantasy VIII??I loved that game despite it being the only FF I never finished for some reason..stop ignoring it as if it doesn't exist..

Re: Fantasy RPG Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force Is Heading To Switch This Year

Wazeddie22

@Agramonte @XenoShaun Exactly,I picked this up not long ago on a ps4 sale for about £5.As much as id rather play it on the Switch there's no way im paying £30 for it.Mind you seeing as I still have Dragon Quest XI,Xenoblade Chronicles 2,Octopath Traveller,Ys VIII and Shining Resonance to get through it's going to be long while before I even start it anyway.lol

Re: Video: 13 Nintendo Switch Games You Should Look Out For In September

Wazeddie22

Even though I am nowhere near done with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yet,Torna The Golden Country will be picked up on the day and maybe with Valkyria Chronicles 4 too although I am still really undecided whether I will pick that up for Switch or Ps4..but like @Agramonte says...none of these games will be touched once Dragon Quest XI arrives next week

Re: Review: Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition (Switch eShop)

Wazeddie22

@MagicEmperor Good ol days indeed. They don't make them like that any more lol
It will be interesting to see how many copies actually sell considering it seems to be hated by most. The idea was original and it hadnt been done before on a console but it was such a bad game.If they bring out the Ground Zero Texas and Sewer shark then I'd be interested!
And if they are going to bring Mega CD games to Switch...Lunar anyone??

Re: PEGI Rating Suggests Graveyard Keeper Is Surfacing On Switch

Wazeddie22

@Tasuki Excellent, thanks for your reply.I never played any of the Harvest Moon games which was part of the reason I wasn't going to bother with Stardew Valley.Id never played this kind of game before because I honestly thought they weren't for me.But being so addicted to Stardew I'm beginning to think I missed out!
Open ended or not it doesant really bother me I was just curious. This is a day one for me.

Re: PEGI Rating Suggests Graveyard Keeper Is Surfacing On Switch

Wazeddie22

I never thought Stardew Valley would be for me but I bought it anyway just to see what all the fuss is about and now I've spent 100 hours on it..easily the most played game on my Switch so anything that looks remotely like that game...(which this kinda does in a very dark and morbid way)i will have my wallet open and ready

@Tasuki Glad to hear you are enjoying it and you can compare it to Stardew, this is the first I've heard of it so didant even realize it was out already.Would you say it's open ended like Stardew or does it have a proper story and an ending?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 18th)

Wazeddie22

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Stardew Valley. The same two games i have been playing for months.Excellent games for an excellent system.

I have also recently started Atelia Sophie on the Ps4 this week so will be spending alot of time on that one. It's been years since I last played an Atelia game and as much as I'm enjoying it i have to say the characters aren't as interesting or fun as in other games.

Re: Video: Here's How Go Vacation On Switch Compares To The 2011 Wii Version

Wazeddie22

I only ever played Wii Sports which was a total blast.I think that was the most played game on the Wii to be honest and those were the days when family and friends would join in.So would love a game like that for the Switch and this game really keeps nagging at me to buy it.
I appreciate your opinion of the game @Ninja44X as well as a few others here but can I just ask you if there are motion controls in the game?can you play it stood up and swinging ya arms about etc or is it just a sit down and use the buttons?

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 28th)

Wazeddie22

This is the last day of my week off so I'll be making the most of it by continuing my quest on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 along with tending to my farm and dating Leah in Stardew Valley (my most played Switch game at 80 hours!).
On the Ps4 front I'll be cleaning up the gold bricks and challenges in Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 which I'm at about 92 percent complete and trying Robinson's Journey PSVR which I bought in the sale.

Re: Review: Hungry Shark World (Switch eShop)

Wazeddie22

I really love this game!when I haven't got hours to spare on Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Stardew Valley I can rely on this to give me tons of fun in short bursts.
Apart from the loading times which I agree are ridiculously long at times I have had no problems with crashes at all and to be honest think that score is a little unfair.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 21st)

Wazeddie22

I still have Ys VIII and Octopath Traveller unopened but I already am struggling to keep up with the games i have so unfortunately they will have to wait.
I'll be switching between playing Stardew Valley (a game im shocked has held my interest for so long to be honest),Sonic Mania plus,Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Shining Resonance Refrain.plus a couple of Ps4 games.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend?

Wazeddie22

Octopath Traveller arrived today but I restrained myself from starting it until I have either beaten Xenoblade Chronicles 2 or Shining Resonance Refrain...neither of which I am anywhere near finishing!
So apart from those two games,I have also been keeping my so called 'farm' going in Stardew Valley on Switch and Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 on Ps4.

Re: Review: Shining Resonance Refrain (Switch)

Wazeddie22

First time I've known this site to have the same score on a game as it's sister site PushSquare.
I played the demo and really enjoyed it.and like @Agramonte above i should be receiving my copy tomorrow.
Of course, whether I actually start it any time soon is another matter, what with Ys VIII still unopened and Octopath due soon..

Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For July And August

Wazeddie22

Considering the only reason I bought a Switch was for the Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle game there are a ton of new games I'm looking forward to.My Ps4 I admit is starting to get pushed aside by this device.
Looking forward to:
Octopath Traveller,Shining Resonance Refrain,Sonic Mania,Valkyrie Chronicles 4,Flipping Death,Torna Golden Country,Little Dragons Cafe and maybe Captain Toad...the demo wasn't as great as I was hoping.

Re: Octopath Traveler Features 80 - 100 Hours Of Content

Wazeddie22

When I played the original demo when it was released this was going to be a day one,but now I'm really unsure.I have a huge backlog and after playing Shining Resonance demo I'm more leaning towards buying that one.Besides like a few people have said I'm really confused by how this game works. You pick a character, play their story then finish and pick another?or do you just pick a character and end up playing the others as the story continues?I'd like to know this before I commit to it.
Looks fantastic though.

Re: Okami HD Release Date Revealed For Japan

Wazeddie22

If I hadn't of already had this on the ps4 I would of waited for the Switch version.Only finished the game two weeks ago and was one of the most beautiful looking games I've played with a brilliant story that kept me occupied for about 60 hours.

Re: Reaction: What are Your Thoughts on Nintendo Switch Online?

Wazeddie22

I'm happy the cloud saves have arrived.Really pleased about that but the more I think about it,I don't really go online for playing games..very rarely anyway and the games they are offering are no interest to me at all.So the only thing I'm paying for is the safekeeping of my saves....
Still,it's not too bad a price and I'll still be paying up.
