Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (31st August)

I've been busy playing Ace Attorney trilogy and loving it!I only played the original game when it was on the DS.And after playing this trilogy I also have the Apollo Justice trilogy to play!
On the PS5 I'm 60 hours into Trails Of Cold Steel 3,Monster Hunter World and Vampire Survivor.
Enjoy your weekend all.

Thanks for this article I found it very interesting, entertaining and brought back memories for me when I used to shop at Game.
I remember standing outside our Game (years ago!)eagerly excited to buy Sonic 3 on Megadrive and being allowed twenty minutes to try the PSVR but because I was having so much fun it was an hour before the staff said I should come off.
The staff recommending certain games (Mass Effect was one) and even going so far as to recommend a shop in another town for imports (that's where my love for Lunar The Silver Star and other rpgs started.)
I never had a problem with Game or it's staff and don't understand the hate it received.Always friendly, always helpful and I for one will continue to miss it.

Interesting review and I never imagined this game would receive such a low score!
I bought My Time At Portia on PS4 a long time ago and had a lot of fun with it...think I put about 60 hours into it and despite not playing it for a long time due to bring busy with other games I was eagerly awaiting the follow up...So disappointed in the score.

Re: Poll: Pikmin 4 Is Out On Switch This Week, Will You Be Getting It?

Wazeddie22

@JetForceGemInEye I don't have friends or relatives who have a Switch they are all into PS5/Xbox so no-one to lend the game to anyway. But hey I bought Zelda TOTK digital and have slight regrets.Only thing I'm thinking right now is I'd have to keep swapping the cartridge over with Dragon Quest Treasures of I go physical lol

I was going to get this whether the score was bad or not.I spent over 4 hours on the demo and enjoyed it alot.Unfortunately ever since catching Covid at start of October I've been ill with one thing or another so I just sit or lie in my bed either sleeping or playing on my Switch.
Hopefully this game or Mario And Rabbids will help with my recovery...ok,maybe getting off my backside and going for a walk will help more.

@JasmineDragon I turn up on comments every so often but mostly I enjoy reading what other people have posted.I'm pretty sure we have interacted a couple of times in the last few years though and id just like to say how sorry I am to what you are going through! Whatever you have I hope they can save or reverse the damage on your eyes. You have made a lot of friends on here and you will be missed.x

I'm off for a week now so no stress just relaxing and playing video games..I hope.
Animal Crossing is still the game that has most of my attention at the moment but I'm finding it hard to do everything I want to do in it as there's so much!Really wish I could obtain tomatoes though,it's the only one I'm missing..
Still playing the excellent Voice Of Cards too,I'm chapter 6 already so will be finished with it soon.

On Ps5 I'm trying to pick up the Plat for Tales Of Arise which I'm done with the main story after 70 hours or so.Absolutely fantastic game and certainly makes up for the last couple of disappointing games in the series.
Enjoy your weekend all!

Great review and easily the same score id give it.
This is the kind of game that I had absolutely no interest in when it was first announced and thought it looked pretty boring but thanks to an article over on Pushsquare where the writer encouraged people to at least try the demo..I not only tried it but was so hooked I preordered as soon as id finished!
I was originally playing Eastward but that game has been abandoned while I concentrate on this and Animal Crossing.
Makes a nice change from.the big open world games in used to.

Excellent review and although I have literally only just defeated the first boss (after a frustrating number of attempts!) I can already tell the limit to items what you can store and carry is going to be my biggest gripe because to be honest I assumed the number would increase over time..
I really am enjoying it though and it makes a nice change from trying to save Pikmin or slaughtering loads of Mongols.

Persona 5 Royal for most of the day as it's unbelievably good and addictive!I played the original Persona 5 but there are enough changes to make it worth playing through Royal.70 hours in and loving it.
In the evening Resident Evil Village on Ps5 will be my game to play in the dark.Only played an hour so far but it's great!
Then on Switch, probably 10 mins on Animal Crossing and I really need to go back to Sakuna Of Rice And Ruin as it's been left abandoned for a while.
I'm also thinking of buying a new Switch game...Mario 3D,Pikmin 3 or Bravely Default 2..
Enjoy your weekend all.

Re: Review: Rain on Your Parade - A Refreshingly Brief But Saccharine Shower

Wazeddie22

I bought this on day of release and seeing as I'm not usually one for playing many Indy games I found this to be a delightful change of pace compared to all the open world games I seem to play.
I never tried that Goose game but I gotta I've had loads of fun with this one.Wasn't expecting a big score for it and 6 I suppose is fair although id probably go with a 7.
Think I might have to start playing more Indy games after this.

As far as Switch is concerned I really want to have a look at Pacman 99.
On Ps4 I'm right at the end of Assassins Creed Unity and loved every bit of it.
Also will continue with Need For Speed Hot Pursuit.
On the PS5 I have been playing Persona 5 Royal. After finishing Strikers last week I was really missing the gang.So now I can spend another 100 hours with them

Re: Octopath Traveler Has Now Sold 2.5 Million Copies Worldwide

Wazeddie22

@Bunkerneath That's exactly the reason I gave up.I put at least sixty hours into this game and absolutely loved it but I felt the level grinding was totally uneven from one character to the next. Some characters I finished their story with no issues and others I felt I was way underlevelled despite grinding for hours.Real Shame.
Despite this im real glad it has managed to sell so many and looking forward to Bravely Default 2.

Re: New Story Of Seasons Interview Reveals New Secrets Ahead Of Next Month's Release Date

Wazeddie22

This looks great but I'm already deep into Story Of Seasons Friends Of MIneral Town,my very first game in the franchise which I'm absolutely loving plus a daily visit to Animal Crossing and wanting to go back and check out the update for Stardew Valley that I can't see myself getting this any time soon.
Damn,I forgot I'm also 50 hours into My Time At Portia on Ps4 so any more of these games and I'll be sick of them.

Persona 5 Strikers in PS5...I was lucky to buy the digital Edition so got to start early. It's absolutely fantastic and even better that it feels like a direct sequel rather than a spin off.Loving it...Haru for best girl.
Fenix Rising also on PS5...30 hours in and still have tons to do.Beautiful looking game.I wish more games looked like this.
On PS4 I'm still playing Nelke And The Legendary Alchemists...for some reason I can't stop playing this game despite not enjoying it much..
Animal Crossing and Story Of Seasons on Switch.

Re: Gallery: Behold, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword Joy-Con

Wazeddie22

They really are beautiful looking Joy Cons..however both my other pair have terrible drift that have made it trying to play any games with them totally unplayable..disgusting and no reason to say these wouldn't go the same way.I'll stick to my third party controller that is far superior.
