Just as the rumours suggested, Superhot Team's iconic FPS title Superhot is coming to the Nintendo Switch today.
Superhot is quite unlike any FPS title you've played before, in that time only moves when you do. This mechanic is evolved further by the fact that one bullet can kill you and ammo drops don't exist; instead, you must weave a path of mayhem through each of the game's levels, dodging incoming bullets and disarming enemies.
It's certainly one of the most innovative FPS titles of recent memory, and it's on your Nintendo Switch from today.

I’ll give this a go. I heard it’s really great. Hopefully there’s gyro controls.
And for anyone wondering, according to the description on the video the SUPERHOT channel posted, it does indeed support gyro aiming and 60 FPS! I'm glad I waited for this instead of getting it on PS4.

Hopefully the game gets a labo VR update.
Have this on the PSVR..absolutely fantastic game.Will be interesting to see what it's like in non vr..
Ooooo dang my wallet is crying right now.
I wonder if they'll give this Labo VR support.
@Giygas_95 Cheers. Whether or not it had gyro aiming was the news I was waiting on as excluding it would have been a complete deal breaker. Pretty high price so I'll probably just watch list it for now and wait to hear how well it plays but that's promising news.
Woah I finally get to play a generic bullet-time murder simulator on the switch
@BenAV Honestly I can play FPS games on Switch without gyro aiming, but it is really nice. I'm more excited about the "silky smooth 60 FPS" personally. I know it's not a high poly game, but I was kind of expecting 30 FPS. By the way, what is the price? I haven't been able to find it so far, as I didn't get to watch the presentation.
Psvr I've had since launch and have 30 plus games.played it 5 times cos got so many good switch games.and a baby at 5 months.wish could have a week of gaming and to catchup.not even started Zelda botw.and I love Zelda.at least I have it to play and all to look forward to.have to ignore all people talking bout what happens
@Giygas_95 I usually can't even really tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS as long as it's stable, but it's good to hear that they've supposedly got it running at 60 FPS for those that can. I really don't enjoy playing shooters with stick controls though so I don't touch them unless they add gyro. It should really be an automatic inclusion in any Switch shooter at this point so it's good to see them doing it right, unlike some (Capcom comes to mind).
@Giygas_95 Same price as other systems, $24.99 USD.
@Wazeddie22 It’s a mostly different game than Superhot VR. I’ve played them both, and they’re both great.
It's the most innovative shooter I've played in years!
@Bezbot Thanks!
Dont get the hype for this game.
Not my cup of thea at all
Played this to death on Steam, brilliant game, really original, will be getting this as soon as I finish work and get home...
@Giygas_95 Well, the video demonstrates gyro aiming too. At certain points of the video, it shows the console tilting as the player is aiming.
@ballistic90 Ah, I didn't notice that.
@Giygas_95 I feel a bit bad for whomever made the trailer where they put in a detail like that, for only one jerk to notice.
Cool game for sure and one I enjoyed but no desire to play again, though I would highly recommend to those who haven't played it
This is the first I've seen/heard of this game. Is there a story to it or is just a shoot and slash your way through a bunch of red slo-mo guys? I am intrigued by it though.
@ballistic90 I'm sure more people noticed. I just wasn't paying close enough attention.
@delt75 I've heard it has a story. Something about being trapped in a computer simulation or something? I'm not exactly sure.
If there is any game that would work well with Labo VR, it's this. The graphics are so rudimentary that playing it at a low-resolution won't matter at all.
I've only played the PSVR one (please, give Switch version some Labo support ) but I'm now ready to buy this for the Switch.
IF I had Labo this would be a great game for it. Outside of that I am not sure it has the legs to stay playable long term.
£5.30 at the Russian eshop. No brainer.
@Mycroft Hey, some of us are working and didn't have the time to notice little details like that. 😉
The gyro controls look good for handheld mode, but yeah Labo support would also be neat. Though (not having played it) with people saying the VR and non-VR versions are different games with different levels & the non-VR one being longer, it seems less likely there will be Labo support.
Iconic eh? Never heard of it before and doesn’t look great TBH.
@boatie remember we are talking about the game not your life
Two universal truths to be applied here:
1.) I know this game exists because it came out on Nintendo Switch.
2.) I'll buy it on Xbox because it's made out of polygons.
