Dragon Quest or Ni no kuni?
So much to buy... only to be back logged until the dry Jan to April 2020 period.
Good god, September is PACKED!
I'm only going for Ni No Kuni: Remastered, picking up both the Switch and PS4. It's my favourite game of all time after all!
Torchlight 2 missing!
I think AI: The Somnium Files and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age are enough for me this month. Astral Chain just came out too. Though I'm interested in owning most of the listed games eventually.
Spyro is the one for meeee! Getting increasingly interested in Dragon Quest too. But also I’ve always wanted to play Ni No Kuni. And then there’s Untitled Goo— ARGH TOO MANY THINGS!
I'm still not sure if I should get Links Awakening or not, on the one hand the original is my favorite 2D Zelda-Title, on the other hand it's just a 1to1 remake and I know the game inside out so It's not worth 60€ for me, but Nintendo games rarely get that much cheaper...
Physically I'm getting:
Such a crazy month of releases. Also some really good stuff coming out in the eShop but most of it will probably just get put on the watch list for now.
And then another seven (at least) physical games in October...
No BLASPHEMOUS??? Really...???
Anyway, great month overall.
@koekiemonster Both are master pieces.
I can’t wait to play no no Kuni when it comes out! I never played the original but I remember seeing someone else playing it and thinking it looked amazing so I was very excited when I found out the remake was going to be on switch
Gun Gun Pixies for me this month!
Very tempted by Dragon Quest too, but I'm already busy with another RPG at the moment.
What's AI:TSF by the way? That looks awesome yet I didn't know about it until now!
GambliNBA 2K20 should not be on any list of must have games.
I think I'm on 5 purchases this month. Maybe 6.
Talk about an overload. Spyro, Link's Awakening, Goose Game, Ori and the Blind Forest, and maybe Final Fantasy VIII. Dragon Quest XI is looking less and less likely. I've been trying the demo, but I just can't get into it.
You missed Gun gun pixies. Due to lack of funds for entertainment I have not been able to buy games the last month, and September will make my 'to buy list' even bigger.
Getting Spyro, Link's Awakening, and Dragon Quest XI immediately and Ni no Kuni, Final Fantasy VIII, Castle Crashers, and River City Girls in the coming months. I had to make some tough first world decisions.
Dragon quest and zelda defo
Ni no possibly
Two many purchases in October for me
Sniper elite 3
Ghostbusters
Luigis mansion 3
Oh shoot? Ni No Kuni is Sept too. I thought it was October. Well, I guess it will have to wait because Dragon Quest will be taking up all my time
Everyone should give Ni No Kuni a shot.
September 2019 will be my Dragon Quest Builders 2 Switch purchase and some $20 eshop for renewing the NSO.
And.... Hopefully my purchase of Girls Fashion Shoot 3DS Europe will be arrived on early October 2019.
I'm not sure Dead by Daylight deserves a place in this list...
I’ll be picking up Zelda, Ori, and Untitled Goose. Great month overall though!
Dragons Quest for me.
@Liam_Doolan Why no Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition?
It comes on 26 September.
only 2 games im 100% getting this month that being Zelda Links Awakening and Dragon Quest 11 S, was going to get Daemon X Machina but now going to get it at a later date and was interested in Spyro but that big download the 2 games for physical copy killed it for me
Ouch. For sure: Zelda, Oni and UGG. I love ghilbi but not keen on that sort of genre, maybe I should take another shot, tastes change.
Good stuff!
Ok, how do I opt for this guys reviews? Good month. A pikmin 4 announcement would have made it a little better:)
just want link's awakening, star wars pinball, & tetris 99. will get nba 2k20 later.
God, what an utterly ridiculous month Sept. 2019 is. It's like a year's worth of good Switch releases compressed into a single month. Where was all this stuff earlier in the year, when the release schedule was bone dry?!
@Tsurii I'm just getting Dragon Quest XI S and Ori (since it shouldn't be a terribly long game, and it's fairly inexpensive, and supposedly quite excellent), myself. There's not enough time left in the year to play all of September's good releases, so why bother. I'll use these games to pad out the inevitable drought coming next year (although, honestly, Animal Crossing is huge for me, considering it's the sort of games you play for years and hundreds/thousands of hours).
The month is so jam-packed that I already forgot about Ori and the Blind Forest!
If publishers got out of the habit of putting 10 year-old ports of last generation on the eShop for 30-50 Euros (instead of 10-15, which would still be more than for what they go on other digital platforms), I would love to buy those!
Saints Row 3, Red Faction Guerilla, Bulletstorm, just to name a few.
In September, it will be Ni No Kuni. I already bought it for the PS3 (for, like, 8 Euros, five years ago) but would buy it for the Switch, too.
But 60 EUROS?!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
I can buy the second game for half that price!
DQ, Ori and Nino are good games - will fit well on Switch. But already played them.
With Iceborn, CodeVein, Borderlands 3 and Fifa/PES all in september. Paying $60 to Re-play a game makes no sense.
Fire Emblem and Astral Chains have me covered for September.
Hey Nintendolife you missed Friday 13th which is out 27th SEPT.....I think?
Oof, this is an expensive month. Spyro, Final Fantasy VIII, Zelda, Ori, Dragon Quest. Maybe Ni No Kuni and Goose as well. Yikes. Probably gonna wait out on some sales for most or just gonna get them later but damn.
Obviously DQXIS, that demo took me by storm.
So many great games this month. I'm a huge JRPG fan so Dragon Quest XI S and Ni no Kuni is a must buy for me. I've also heard great things about Ori , I'll probably get this one as well. Gunvolt seems to be missing from the list.
There's a lot in Sept I want to play but I don't need to buy it all in Sept, since I won't have the time to play them all anyway. I'll probably just get Zelda and DQXI and get the rest later.
Ni No Kuni is getting a remastered release on PC the same day the original version releases on Switch, so I'm undecided there at the moment.
Just links awakening limited edition and backlog
This year hasn’t felt great for games I’m excited about on switch and then September happens...
Spyro
Zelda
Ori
DQ11
Ni no Kuni
Going to have to make some tough decisions.
Must haves are DQ11, Ori and Zelda
Spyro games were some of my favorite on PS1
FF8 is the game my wife and I got engaged to
Castle Crashers was a lot of fun on PS3 single player and co-op
NNK was pretty good
Ori is probably the best 2D platformer I ever played
DQXI was so good the after game was better than most games
You Nintendo only gamers have your work cut out for you, so much good stuff to play.
I never played Link, but from the sound of it I'll finish it off in a week's borrow from the library.
I think DxM made a mistake coming out 2 weeks after Astral Chain, but that's just me.
Anybody else go down the list reading the titles of the games UNDER the pics? It's a lot more interesting that way. Having that gray line separation between the pic and title threw me off. I figured it out at NBA.
Looking forward to Luigi's Mansion 3 and Concrete Genie next month. Who knows, maybe CG will release on Switch in a year or 3 along with Ori 2.
Creature in the well, ori and the blind forest, and links awakening are my day ones. Still trying to decide if I want spyro, contra, battle crashers and a couple others
Creature in the Well, Untitled Goose Game and Ori look marvellous. They better have physical releases dagnabbit!
Daemon X Machina, Ni No Kuni, Zelda and Dragon Quest God damn!
Oh...erm...am I the only person hyped for Contra then?
Links Awakening is an obvious one as I have that on preorder...never played the original so very excited!
Untitled Goose Game,Final Fantasy VIII,Ori And The BlindForest are the others I'll be buying Day one..or the same month anyway..
And possibly that AI:The Somnium Files..a game that I hadn't heard of until yesterday..it looks ace!
Unbelievable amount of games coming out..just wish I had time to play them.I'm still only half way through playing Assassins Creed Odyssey which I started in April.lol
Spyro, because the doctor said is good for me and perhaps Astral Chain if I have enough money in late September.
Already have Daemon X Machina, Dragon Quest 11, and Dead By Daylight predownloaded. May get River City Girls too
Sydney Hunter on Sept 12th! That game looks great!
after Astral Chain, Torchlight 2 is the one i want before Zelda LA, and then Northgard after that before DQXIS
... people do know that there is more days in September than 13 and 20th? Like 27th, 6th, 2nd, ......
I'm getting Goose & Links Awakening. I want to get Ni Nokuni but there just to many games and so little time, and not much money.
Hoping Daemon X Machina turns out quite good!
I have to limit myself to Spyro, Zelda and Dragon Quest this month. I’ll eventually pick up Daemon X Machina and probably Ni No Kuni, but not until my wallet recovers and I find more time to play.
Even darksiders 2, blasphemous are releasing this month
Already pre-ordered the physical of River City Girls and definitely getting Ni No Kuni as well. Blasphemous is also one I've had my eye on for ages. I'm still on the fence about Daemon X Machina, but I still can't shake off the unpleasant taste the demo left...
@Mach_Rider the devs of daemon x mechina have been listening to all the feedback from the demo so everything will be good wen it releases.
Dragon Quest and Zelda for me.
Daemon x Machina is on my list as is Dragon's Quest. I buy too many Switch games as is and I really need to slow down, but these developers throwing everything they have at the system--and mostly doing a great job--makes it so hard...
tsss tsss, someone forgot to list "star wars pinball".
shame on you, liam
the basketball game with literal pachinko and slot machines? had to check if you linked to some kind of store. pegi 3...
Crazy crazy month.
Link, Goose and Ori all coming out within a week of each other and I needs all 3! I can’t think of another week, let alone month like it!
RIP Wallets, everyone. Plays Taps
definite gotta gets:
Untitled Goose Game
Zelda
really want but will wait till I got time to play:
Dragon Quest
Ori
maybe????:
Ni No Kuni
Daemon x Machina
Just Creature in the Well and Blasphemous for me
Packed month for Switch (and all platforms in general).
I am too busy with Invisigun and Rayman to bother with any of these until Zelda.
I am sad that I would probably hate Ni No Kuni. I like how it looks, but I can't stand JRPG gameplay.
probably just Zelda and Ori for me this month. next month Witcher 3 and Luigi and if i find time to actually play all this that would be nice. My back log is only growing but it is hard to pass on all this.
@construx the second was ehhhhhh...
My wallet is about to cry...
