After what feels like a literal eternity, the time has finally come. Untitled Goose Game has now been given a confirmed Switch release date of 20th September. Get in.

We've been waiting to hear more about this one ever since it was first announced back in August last year; with a charming dose of humour and an adorable honky protagonist, the game seems to have captured the hearts of players everywhere. Luckily, a new gameplay trailer has waddled onto the scene (see above) to share the good news.

So, let's give you some facts. The game will be launching on Switch, as well as PC and Mac via the Epic Game Store, on that 20th September release date. It'll be playable in English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Simplified Chinese, and Korean, and will be available from the eShop in the Americas, Europe/Australia, and Japan.

Pricing will be set at $19.99 (EU pricing still to be confirmed), although a limited-time discount will be available at launch taking it to $14.99.

The 20th of September is turning out to be a mightly busy day, with this, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, LEGO Jurassic World, Ni no Kuni, and the Nintendo Switch Lite all arriving at the same time. Good luck, folks.

Give us a 'HONK!' in the comments if you'll be picking this one up next month.
