@JasmineDragon Sorry about your injury.I have arthritis in my right thumb which can prevent me from playing games as well as other things so I feel your pain.
I will be playing Yoshi mainly which I am absolutely loving a lot more than I thought I would. If all Yoshi games are this much fun i have been missing out. I am stuck on Chapter 15 on Valkyria Chronicles 4 so will give that a rest for a while. I also started playing Goken on Switch,a cheap little rpg that I hadn't even heard of until I saw someone on YouTube playing it and it's surprisingly good for a cheapie. On Ps4 I'll be continuing my adventure in Final Fantasy XII. Enjoy your weekend all!
I picked this game up from Base.com for only £39.85 and are very reliable so saved a lot of money. My very first Yoshi game and I'm loving it!I'm used to playing mostly violent and bloody games so this is a nice change of pace.
Great article and some great games on that list. The 3ds was my favourite handheld and unlike a lot of people I absolutely loved the 3D feature..I had the 3D bar up full for every game. Unfortunately I bought a 3DS XL just before the Switch and after transferring all my data over I realized the 3D on the big screen was extremely bad and made my eyes go weird lol. I've gotta say though my faves were easily Fantasy Life,Tales of The Abyss and Zelda A Link Between Worlds. Zelda Majoras Mask is a game I bought just before the Switch so I have only played two hours worth..
I'm off work for a week.So a week abroad?naaa I'll just stick to catching up on my missed gaming time. PS4 Final Fantasy XII Zodiac Age Assassins Creed Origins
I like Sony and I like Nintendo. Both make great games.I don't care if Sony is 'apparently' copying Nintendo I'm just glad that both keep in contact with their fans and announce new games.
I have the next few days off from work so looking forward to catching up on some much needed gaming time.
On the Switch i will be continuing my adventure through Valkyria Chronicles 4...still enjoying it immensely, unfortunately as I'm just about to start chapter 15 I think I'm right near the end..
Tetris 99 I'm hopelessly addicted to despite being absolutely rubbish at it...
On the Ps4 I will be playing the fantastic Final Fantasy XII and having a few bashes at the multiplayer on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
I was going to wait for the Switch version of Final Fantasy XII but seeing as I've had the Ps4 Special Edition sealed and unplayed for what seems like forever I ended up giving in and playing it.Absolutely Fantastic game!I played this years ago on the Ps2 but can't remember anything about it apart from the characters and the fact I spent more time doing the Hunts than anything else...and already those hunts have drawn me back in..
Valkyria Chronicles 4 and Asassins Creed Origins have also still got my attention..
Assassins Creed Origins on Ps4 a game I was given at Christmas but only just got round to playing.Loving it so far!more like the Witcher than an Assassins Creed game but I'm not complaining..
Finished Atelia Sophie last night so now I'm looking forward to both Atelia Firis and Atelia Lydia which I have just ordered online.
On Switch i will continue my long adventure with Valkyria Chronicles 4...a game that is a blast to play!45 hours in and just started Chapter 11.
I have only played one Fire Emblem game before and as much as I enjoyed it I never bothered with anymore and to be honest this game held no interest for me until what was just shown. Now I'm really excited to play this game!
@KIRO Yeah me too.I kind of miss Wii Fit but that was played mostly for fun. This seems to be more serious.I just hope hope I can stick to the routine of doing a session every day....without eating anything afterwards lol.
Not sure if it was a good decision on my part but I bought Fitness Boxing for the Switch after enjoying the trial and needing something to keep me fit.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is still my main ongoing Switch game, currently at Chapter 9 after 35 hours and absolutely loving it!
I'll also have another go at the Anthem demo on the Ps4 but can't see myself buying it..
Resident Evil 2 remake and Far Cry 5 will be the other two games I'll be playing over the weekend.Loving both of them
I'll be making the most of this weekend as I have just had a week off so I doubt I'll get much gaming time from next week.. I have been spending an awful amount of time with Valkyria Chronicles 4 on the Switch and that won't change..an absolute gem of a game! On the Ps4 it will be Spyro Trilogy and Far Cry 5 and finally I have just dug out the Vita and paid just over a fiver for Trails Of Cold Steel 2 after seeing the announcement for the third game. I'm enjoying it alot but man the Vita is so small and dinky compared to the Switch.
I never did get to play No More Heroes despite usually loving anything Suda51 releases but man this game just looks really bad.I'll need a demo for this for sure..
I bought this in the sale for PS4 at least half a year ago now and still not got round to playing it.Looks pretty great but I still have other rpgs to play.(Ys VIII,Octopath Traveller etc)
Why am I checking this site Christmas morning before I've even opened my presents?? No matter, Merry Christmas to all members and staff of NintendoLife!
Unlike most people on here I don't own Smash so won't be playing it and I'm totally fine with that! Instead I have recently started YS VIII which I'm absolutely loving along with Spyro,Dragon Quest XII,Detroit Become Human on PS4 and Astrobot On PSVR.
Wow I didant realize Katamari was out already! So yeah I'll be picking that one up as I absolutely loved it on the Vita years ago. I'd like to pick up the Megadrive collection too.I bought this on the PS4 day one but have hardly looked at it,I feel having it on the Switch it would get played a lot more.
I can finally say I'm done with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and it's expansion Torna-The Golden Country which I finished last night.Absolutely amazing jrpg (not as good as Dragon Quest XI though which I'm still playing) so after nearly 200 hours on the same game im moving onto Shining Dragon Resonance on the Switch which seems fun at the moment..
Also will be playing Detroit Become Human on the Ps4....an absolutely amazing experience apart from the fact the only choices I make in this game are bad ones..
@Agramonte Nice car!For a sec I thought it was your own lol
I spent over a hundred hours on this game and then just lost interest, this is a s good a reason as any to get back into it.Maybe I can find someone to help me make my farm look decent lol.
I'm Playing Dragon Quest XI as usual which is definitely no bad thing but I'll also be finding time to play Lego Ninjago on Ps4 and Tetris Effect on PSVR. Switch will be used for Resisdent Evil Revelations and Torna The Golden Country which kind of feels like I'm near the end but who knows seeing as I spent over a hundred hours with the base game lol.
I have never been a Pokemon fan before but the more i see and hear of Let's Go in getting more and more tempted...
I'm liking the look of this but as I'm still 150 hours into Xenoblade Chronicles 2,2 hours into Shining Resonance and not even got round to opening the packaging on YS VIII and Octopath Traveller yet I think the sequel will be out before I even get round to playing it.
Lots of gaming time planned as I'm off work for a week. So games that will be getting a good chunk of my time will be: PS4 Dragon Quest XI. Lego Ninjago Movie Videogame.
PSVR Astrobot. Tetris Effect.
Switch Torna-The Golden Country. Resident Evil Revelations.
Dragon Quest XI will be at the top of my most played games this weekend again..one of the best JRPGs I've ever played.
Other games I'll be playing are Astrobot and Tetris Effect Demo on the PSVR,Torna The Golden Country and Resident Evil Revelations on the Switch.
Enjoy your weekend everyone.
@Anti-Matter I only ever heard of DDR so most probably the other never came out over here in UK. I only ever once in my life had a go on one of those machines and never again.I had no rhythm at all and ended up just looking a like a total fool instead lol
AstroBot on PSVR along with Dragon Quest XI (70 hours in and no end in sight)absolutely amazing game. And Torna The Golden Country for Switch too which I'm enjoying alot!
@ReaderRagfish You aren't the only one.The cartoony graphics of the original was what made it different all those years ago but the new style is just like..all other games to be honest.
Fantasy Life 2 would indeed make me happy. The first was an absolute joy to play on the 3ds. But I'd be happy with whatever it is.All their games are great ...although I can't comment on the Yokai Watch games as I have yet to try one.
I FINALLY finished Xenoblade Chronicles 2 yesterday after 135 hours..an absolutely fantastic beast of a game so already I have dived into Torna The Golden Country On Ps4 I'm over 50 odd hours into another (and better)jrpg Dragon Quest XI.I don't want this game to end it's just soo good! Astrobot On PSVR got a good look in,I'd play more but it's killing my eyesight I'm sure of it lol And as it's Halloween season I started playing Remothered Tormented Fathers which seems pretty good.Reminds me of the old Clocktower games.creepy!
@AxeltheBuizel I would love that!I refused to buy dimensions despite REALLY wanting it because I couldn't afford or have room for all the toys but I loved what I saw of Sonic...and The Simpsons for that matter. They proved they can do it so why can't we get a full size game and just give all these superheroes a rest for a while.
Finished and platinumed Spiderman so most of my gaming time will be swallowed up by the fantastic Dragon Quest XI. I'll also be playing some Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Switch and Etrian Odyssey on the 3ds. And I am sooo tempted by Astrobot on the PSVR but I promised myself no more new games till after Christmas..
Great read and like so many others something I can definitely relate to. I always used to play one game at a time but then as more games would release that I wanted i started to get impatient and rather than enjoy the game i was playing i just wanted to finish to start another.I then decided to play a few games at once (not literally), jumping between games so I could continue to enjoy them rather than just try to rush through them. But the more games I wanted that released the more I would start and end up playing more than the other and neglecting some that I used to love. I'm in my mid forties and I don't have time to play that much..especially as games are so much bigger now (it doesant help my fave genre is rpg)so now I just tell myself i have to really think about the games that I want more than others, none of us will ever get to play or finish everything so at the moment I'm managing to stick to two games at a time...(ok so two games per system anyway.Ps4 and Switch and one in 3ds) and so far it's working for me..even if I decide I'll those two games today and those two tommorrow..that way I'm enjoying them again instead of rushing through them.
