I have zero cash for this game on launch due to not remembering it when doing Tesco shopping last night. Looks like I'll be waiting 2 weeks to play. How stupid. Been waiting for so long for this day! Boo. My fault obviously, im usually good with financing/budgeting. Hopefully I can sell something on eBay and get paid real fast.

@MathByThePixel Tell me about it. I collected every game I considered good/great that had a physical release for the switch 1. Price charter puts my collection at £15k

I am only buying physical big nintendo releases for switch 2. No more collecting. I won't be buying any amiibos or accessories or limited run or special editions this gen. I also went mad getting digital indie releases for switch one. Not any more, not after switch 2 prices annoyed me so much. That's how I justify getting the new console... I know nintendo will be getting vastly less money out of me. Good!

Anyway... I absolutely loved hollow Knight. I've been waiting years for this. The two weeks away release date was a nice surprise. Obviously day one digital purchase for me.

This looks so good. I loved the base game so much. Sold!

Playing bowsers fury for the first real time (played for 20 mins one time) handheld as i knew it was only 60fps docked on S1... and I like playing handheld too much it seems.

Brilliant little game, running smoothly and looks gorgeous. Fun mechanics and just a great mini mario experience. I am going for 100 cat shines having about 75 currently.

Bowser is a badass in this. I know I'm like 7 years late or something.

I'm going to get the upgrade pack for Kirby and replay that handheld when it releases.

I hope we get some free 3rd party upgrades. I know switcher 3 runs better already but still.

@TKundNobody Awesome. I'd have preferred it came packaged with the switch but I must say I did feel i got my moneys worth. Really was rewarding learning just how specifically detailed and thought out the design is for every element of the console. They really have it refined other than an oled. Learned a lot from the previous generation.

And obviously presented the info in bite size easy to understand pieces.

I left my amazon review for hollow knight. It's a neat e shop. Definitely improved a lot.

Why is she a Witcher? She was already an OP mage so why the downgrade? I thought women couldn't even become Witchers?

They are going to have a tough job appeasing true fans because the transformation makes no sense.

If they manage to make it believable without retconning stuff I'll give it a chance. The writing is going to have to be top teir.

Isn't this where all consoles will go sooner or later? Running all games natively?

Because as power increases and batery tech improves then there will always be a reason to put a batery and screen in it... as the option of handheld and to a tv screen are what people would prefer overall I think. It caters for everyone.

So yeah nintendo are ahead of the game.

This will be the first mario luigi game in the alphadream (plus this one) series i ever play. Looking forward to it :]

I hate it when updates aren't on the game cartridge. That will determine whether I buy physical switch version.

The game is fantastic, I completed it on xbox. I had to Google for help on just one small area I got stuck at. Annoyed me I couldn't finish it all on my own because it was obvious once I read the bit of the guide!

They just thought they could get away with it or the backlash wouldn't have been so intense.

Someone predicted this would be the ultimate outcome and I agreed.

Not saying it's impossible but I find it very hard to believe it was a mistake. Especially when one knows details about their vision for future tomb raider games. Details they have publicly stated.

Just bought my niece a switch, pink joycons and a digital copy of this and mario 3D world/bowsers fury, oh and mario kart 8.

She was using her mum's switch for mario kart and wanted peach showtime.

I completed it on Xbox on release. Wanted 60FPS (sorry switch) time to check it out again. Seems like a significant update.

I have it pre ordered but it was very much a fomo order and not a 100% sure I should order.

I wanted to hold onto it in case it becomes valuable in the future... I got the DE too. But the amount still in stock everywhere makes me think it's been overproduced and won't be rare in the slightest.

Got till end of today to cancel my order if I decide to go that way. Hmmmm :/

I bought on Xbox series X to play at 60fps. The first time I bought an indie game that was also on switch, on Xbox due to performance worries. Not just 30fps on switch but the stutter and lag and frame dips I'd read about.

Wow so is each dot of light a separate drone then? That's quite incredible if so. The organisation and correct positioning of them in the sky. I know it's just software code flying them but still. Someone tell me if I'm wrong and the light show is achieved some other way.

Hardly surprising. I said the evidence was pretty damning that she lied about what she was offered for the job. Now she herself basically confirms the Bloomberg and other news outlets reports.

She lied because the truth she knew, was not enough to sway the public and get them on her side. Very manipulative.

It's like talking to a brick wall with some people. I wonder what proof would be enough for these people to take seriously/change their mind? I get the feeling for some people, nothing would be enough. They just keep changing the goal posts. Pretty frustrating. Oh well... I certainly tried!

You don't understand what an anonymous source is in the context of the news. They identified all 3 things you claim they didn't; name, title, connection and likely more in order to be verified. Just not to the public. This is common practice to protect the sources identity, privacy, safety etc.

It's fine to be wrong but when you are digging your heels in, saying lolwut, crying laughing emoji you just come across as ignorant, arrogant and rude; while proving without any doubt you don't know what you are talking about.

So yeah, I do call two separate news outlets with anonymous sources with information contradicting her statements, that's been verified by the journalists/outlets; to be pretty credible. Why do you think the vast majority of people have changed their opinion due to these outlets reporting? You must have a low expectation of people's intelligence on this website if you think we all just believe random unverified sources.

I reiterate, I find her to be dishonest. That's my best guess based on all the available evidence to date. I could be wrong but if I had to bet I'd say I'm 95% sure she actually was offered 3 probably 4 times what she claimed. This is highly immoral if the case and sinks her own ship in effect.

I live in hope but am constantly let down by people's black or white stances with no nuance, guilty till proven innocent, cancel culture, tribalism, censorship, believe all women, echo chambers, people's inability to admit fault, jumping to conclusions etc. etc. It's all disappointing to witness so frequently.

No one's perfect, including me, but we should try and improve ourselves. People should be able to change their opinions without feeling like they are conceding ground to the enemy. I feel that's a big part of the problem in this specific bayonetta situation, among many other contentious issues.

You assume too much. I'm not dismissing her. I'm just not believing her and only her, especially after two news outlets confirmed the legitimacy of claims/documents showing she was offered 3 or 4 times what she claimed. The burden of proof is on her now. She's already broke her NDA so why not provide the emails proving her claim of only $4000 being offered in total? If she's in the right, prove it. It's suspect to me she's now saying she just wants the fiasco to stop without providing receipts.

Your points about living wages, fair pay for voice actors etc. I don't even disagree with. That wasn't what I had issue with.

What I have issue with is people jumping to conclusions, people trying to cancel a game that hundreds of people worked on because of one voice actors grievance; in light of the newest info we have, her credibility is in question.

She's hardly the best advocate for better pay in the industry.

You are free to believe what you want, obviously, but as time goes by we'll probably have definitive evidence of the truth of the situation. To me, the evidence she lied/misrepresented key info seems pretty damning at this point.

I wonder if the people so quick to boycott after hearing one side and blindly believing her story; will actually learn from this. It's symptomatic of a wider issue involving cancel culture imo. People lie, omit details, make mistakes, get angry, lash out. People are people... Fallible. Wait for more facts/the other side of the argument. I'm sure this problem isn't helped by social media either.

Anyway. Hope the people who boycotted and now regret that decision can reverse course and not feel like admitting fault/backtracking is a sign of weakness... Quite the opposite in fact.

I can't wait to play persona 5 royal finally. I've got the special edition ordered from USA and regular physical UK switch version coming too. But I have Gamepass so I'm unsure where I'll play it.

These exclusive Nintendo store items that Amazon and other online retailers could sell too and share the load; are a total joke. Clearly Nintendo aren't prepared/capable of managing increased website traffic. I couldn't get on at all till I forgot to check and went to bed. It's sold out now. Very annoyed as I'm normally okay at nabbing rare stuff online.

It probably was not a miscommunication imo. It's just a theory but based on how strict they are with mods and hacks, as they think it promotes piracy (maybe true?) ...but I think they probably view self imposed challenges like this as even a potential gateway drug type thing, where it may lead players to get into modding/hacking ROMs or playing them. Chest randomisers in Zelda and what not.

Remember Wood on YouTube was taken off the embassador program with no warning, likely due to his Zelda mods video.

They are over the top strict, that's Nintendo, as much as I love their games.
