I'm playing it now and my monsters are level 33 roughly and I've just done the seaside area. It's a fun challenging game. A tough Pokémon mixed with a metroidvania. Enjoying the experience

So they are pulling a dead cells and as already mentioned in the comments here, the limited run games print is now no longer complete. Take a page out of Celeste's play book in the future!

This game is incredible. I can't emphasise this point enough. I thought I knew what a great game was, but after experiencing the absolute torrent of joy pouring down upon my soul that Balan Wonderworld and the perpetually dancing NPCs instills within, I realise now I was totally blind before. This game has opened my eyes. I can only describe it as seeing a completely new color for the first time. A color so beautiful if I wasn't sitting down to play this game, I would fall to my knees in tears of pure elation.

@Broforce So you have determined that banner adverts are a sufficiently profitable revenue stream alone, for NL to stay afloat? I didn't realise you were privvy to their incomings and outgoings. The affiliate link gives NL a small % but it doesn't increase the price of the game for the consumer. In fact this is a welcome heads up for the cheapest physical version in the UK. I just saved £5. It's win, win for NL and the buyer. Not sure what the issue is to be honest?

Fugly. Much prefer the look of the monster hunter pro controller and switch.

Mine carts, barrel cannons you fire from, corn collectable even looks like bananas. Seems like a rip off. Not sure how to feel to be honest!

The websites I checked also had it up for 50quid so I went with Amazon. Other than this 3D all stars order I've learned to look elsewhere. The game collection is consistently 5quid cheaper. Untitled goose game, sayonara wild hearts, cadance of hyrule, pikmin etc.

I'm sad that Solar ash kingdom got poached by Sony! I loved hyperlight drifter. And steamworld devs poached by Microsoft for that Gunk game! Leave our indie companies alone! Seriously though I jhest... I'm sure it's a great financial help for the studios.

They are consistently £5 cheaper per game than amazon or GAME in my experience. Check out untitled goose game and pikmin 3. Or even Cyberpunk 2077. Great value store!

Very sweet. Looks like it took ages! I have a 2 year old niece so shes too young to appreciate Nintendo yet. She likes watching my sis (her mum) fish in animal crossing though! It's a start

I feel like I should go back and try again, but it's been so long I'll be so out of practice, getting my skill level back up to where it was may be a chore :/

I do keep meaning to start from the beginning again, just because it was such a great game. Heres a review I left on Amazon for the physical copy:

An absolutely brilliant game
Without doubt, one of my favourite games of all time. A vast, atmospheric, detailed world to explore. Lots of secrets, different abilities and upgrades to discover. Plenty of challenging platforming and a huge variety of enemies and bosses, requiring skill and often persistence to defeat. The story is deep and cryptic and the characters you meet are unique and interesting. I love the art style, the haunting music and the sense of progression, as you come to learn the worldmap and master the enemies and controls. Not to mention all the DLC is included, adding countless more hours of gameplay to an already large game. Team Cherry have lovingly crafted an intricate, expansive world with it's own distinctive and intriguing aesthetic and lore. A true masterpiece and a must play! I can't wait for the sequel, Hollow Knight: Silksong.

I managed to complete the end boss but never got to the true ending/boss.

I stopped playing when I couldnt get past a DLC boss. The circus boss. Cant remember the name. So tough!

Still one of my favourite games of all time though!

Anyone see the trailer for Solar Ash (they dropped the 'kingdom' word from the title) on the ps5 reveal? Made by same devs as hyperlight drifter? Looked amazing! I hope its getting a switch release.

This looks pretty big! Did they ever patch in the ability to play with friends and not just randomers online?

I've heard good things about this game from a few big gaming youtubers. I intend to buy it when I get paid on thursday!
