@PikminMarioKirby You know, I don't think anyone ever mentioned the shortcut pipes in any of the reviews I've seen for the original TTYD so it's actually pretty reassuring to know that those are in the game. I still think I'm going to wait and see what other changes they've made before deciding on whether or not I'm going to buy it or not though. Because you never know, they could have made a few bad changes and just aren't showing any of them.

@PikminMarioKirby That's great that they're adding all of those things, but what about in terms of QoL features? I heard you do a lot of backtracking in this game so I really hope there'll be a way to cut down at least most of the time you spend doing that. Like maybe a fast travel badge or something.

@PikminMarioKirby I wouldn't buy it yet because we still don't know what changes they made from the original.

@AlienigenX I definitely have to agree with you about it being being a perfect game to have digitally. It would honestly be pretty tedious having to put the cartridge in your Switch just to participate in the limited-time event dives.

I'm not interested for now but some positive reviews, knowing that the campaign isn't an afterthought, and the game having a stable framerate may sway me to get it on or shortly after its release day.

I didn’t have high hopes for this game with GameMill being the publisher.

That seems to be a problem with a lot of cozy games. Which is why I rarely ever buy them.

@AG_Awesome I'm curious about that too. That's the only thing stopping me from pre-ordering this game.

I may get this DLC eventually but not right away though since it’s releasing the same day as Rainbow Cotton.

I'd have to go with the unpopular choice: The North American box art. I just find the art style more appealing. I also like how there's a lot more going on compared to the European and Japanese box art.

@FishyS 100%ing Princess Peach: Showtime! is more tedious than rewarding, in my opinion. So unless you want to get all of the dresses and ribbon colors, see the rest of the photos in the photo album for beating the boss challenges, or both then I wouldn't bother honestly.

I'm surprised only 2% of people are playing Freedom Planet 2 this weekend. I thought it would've been more than that since it's a long-awaited sequel to a highly praised game.

I'm personally waiting for reviews just in case the game has some outdated mechanics that don't make the game enjoyable.

I might get this game if it has an easy difficulty option since I’m not a fan of turn based combat.

This weekend I'll be finishing the few chapters I have left with Final Fantasy VII: Remake and then tackling the Yuffie DLC right after. Then I'll be starting Rebirth either later today or tomorrow depending on when I finish the DLC.

Even though the platforming looks solid and I like the Japanese folklore theme, I unfortunately won't be getting this because it's a metroidvania. But hopefully it'll be successful when it launches in July.

@JohnnyMind Yeah, I was so bummed that a Switch version wasn’t announced. But then I found out recently that it’s coming to PS5. So thankfully I’ll be able to play it on at least one of the consoles I own.

I’m really looking forward to playing this next month. I got it pre-ordered physically as well as digitally so I can play it as soon as possible on release day.

Fingers crossed that Hi-Fi Rush gets a Switch port announced on Wednesday.

I used to have all of the Smash amiibos before Pyra and Mythra were announced but lost all of them because of an unfortunate event that happened about half a year ago. So I had to buy the NFC cards off of eBay.

Well deserved, the Switch is still a really good console even after all these years.

I'm tempted to pre-order this game again just for that acrylic stand but at the same time I'm hesitant because Best Buy has screwed me over with pre-order bonuses before. So, I don't know...

I didn't download the demo because I'm already not interested in buying the game and judging by the comments it doesn't seem like it would have won me over anyway. But hopefully those who do buy this game end up enjoying it.

This weekend I'll be playing Another Code: Recollection. I started playing it yesterday and I'm really liking the story so far. So I'll definitely be continuing it after I'm done typing this comment.

And I was going to play Turnip Boy Robs a Bank as well but with it being a roguelite and having performance issues on the Switch I'll be waiting for it to go on sale. (Well a deeper sale than it's already on right now.)

@HammerGalladeBro Kyle Hyde Archives has a nice ring to it so hopefully that would be the title.

Which means this'll be the first game developed by ArcSys that I've played. 👀

@Yosher I wouldn't be surprised if they did patch it out. The cool glitches are usually one of the first ones to get patched out of games.

But who knows, maybe the Inktoling will be a new feature and or plot device in Splatoon 3 DLC or a Splatoon 4.

@Fizza @Yosher Good catches. Is that an actual glitch in the game or was that just a mistake that Nintendo over looked? (I don’t play Splatoon sorry)

Despite the negatives it has, I’m still looking forward to playing this game tomorrow. Especially with how engrossing and interesting I found the story to be from playing the demo.

I’ll get it when it goes down to at least $30.

If only this was going to be an animated movie instead of a live-action one; then no one would've had to worry about the characters looking uncanny.

I used to trade-in games all the time as a kid because it would help me pay for the next game that I wanted. But not anymore though since I have a good paying job now.

@thiob If a game is on multiple platforms there’s a 98% chance that the Switch version will be the inferior way to play that game. With rare occasions like 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim where the Switch version is better than its PS4 counterpart.

It’s weird that they’re releasing the demo months after the game released.
