Re: Soapbox: If You're Not Playing LEGO Fortnite, You're Missing One Of The Best Survival Games

@PtM I know, I'm still not interested in it though since it's related to Fortnite. I don't hate it like most people in this comment section, it's just a franchise that I've never cared about. Plus, Lego Fortnite is a Minecraft/Animal Crossing hybrid, which means I won't like it because games like that aren't my forte. Not to mention the huge amounts of time you have to put into these types of games to get any actual enjoyment out of them.

Nothing crazy for me.

The first game that I played on my Switch in 2023 was Melatonin. Which it said was a “Great start!” but I’d say it’s more of a decent start if anything.

Games played: 68
With a total of 842 hours

My most played games being:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
(326 hours)
—————————————————
Fire Emblem Engage
(147 hours)
—————————————————
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE
(61 hours)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - The crappy online, how tedious World of Light can be, the fact that everyone has the same special stage in single player, replacing trophies with PNGs making them less fun to collect, and having the worst All-Star mode in the series.

No More Heroes 1 - The motorcycle controls, how grindy the game can get especially when you’re going for the true ending, and the stupid scorpion mission.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land - The motion controls for the ball puzzle mini game.

Super Mario RPG - The platforming because of the isometric view.

@Zeroo Even from the trailer you could tell the frame rate wasn’t very good. But I’m surprised to hear that it looks worse than Scarlet and Violet because graphically the game actually looked pretty good, in my opinion.

Regarding the marketing though, that’s really unfortunate for anyone that was hoping it would do well so they would release more of Dragon Quest Monsters’ games outside of Japan. It really does seem like they just want an excuse to not localize it. Just like how Bandai Namco treated Klonoa last year, except this time Square Enix actually bothered to release a physical version in the US.

@somnambulance Another Code: Recollection, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Tekken 8, Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Princess Peach: Showtime, and DecaPolice.

I don’t even know how I’m going to find the time to play the first 4 though when they release so close to each other. (Especially with Infinite Wealth and Tekken 8 releasing on the same day lol)

Edit: I guess it’s 8 games because I forgot Another Code: Recollection comes with 2 games on one cartridge.
