They re-released Catherine first for PC before announcing the Full Body version for Switch. There's hope, people.

At this point PlayStation seems to have given up on Japan and has gone full western. Most of its AAA first party games are made to appeal to the western market.

Hmph... Bought several games and DLCs lately, so can't spend more for now, plus I want to progress through my backlog... Would really like to play XCDE, though. Someday soon, I hope.

Already bought the game on Switch. It's awesome, though understanding a few things can take a bit of time, they could have been better explained. Despite that, oerall it's been great so far.

@the_beaver Makes sense that the PS4 version of Trials of Mana is still selling a lot. PS4 has fewer evergreen games competing for customers than Switch, and the last major release, FFVIIR, was two weeks ago.

Coast was clear for Trials of Mana PS4, not so much for its Switch counterpart, which besides competing against evergreens like Smash and Mario Kart, it also must fight the Animal Crossing New Horizons juggernaut.

Yay. She was scary in the trailer and now they made her real. Never change, Internet.

Just another week in the UK with the usual: FIFA, GTA, Fallen Order, Luigi's Mansion 3... And of course, Animal Crossing New Horizons remains unstoppable. Such is the Power of Nintendo.

What kind of eldritch power do Fallen Order and Luigi's Mansion 3 possess, that they just won't come down the top 10 despite being around half a year old... Awesome, though. Great single player games should be appreciated too.

Final Fantasy VII Remake hangs in there after a few weeks. Awesome to see FF getting its groove back. Persona 5 Royal on the other hand was out of the Top 40 in its second week.

Yeah... I'll stick to Dragon Quest XI S, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Valkyria Chronicles 4 and similar games for my JRPG fix, thank you very much.

Commenting again to add, if the only things missing are NG+ and Co-op, it doesn't really bother me. I rarely play NG+ in any game, and I have no one to play Co-op with. Maybe I'll get it soon, to get the discount.

Honest of the developer to let us know. However, the current Switch version seems to run well according to him.

The game is currently being offered with a 20% discount until May 12. It may be worth considering buying the game now and then waiting for the update.

Atlus Guy 2: Yeah, and let's also release it at around the same time as many other hyped, long awaited games, such as Animal Crossing New Horizons, DOOM ETERNAL, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake! There's no way that most players will prefer one of those new games over a shiny version of another game they already played recently!

Atlus Guy 3: And let's not give players who already played P5 the opportunity to download the expansion as a DLC, like Warriors Orochi 4 and Street Fighter IV allows them to! They want it, they must buy the entire game again!

@mesome713 Perhaps FFVIIR1 is a "foundation", that is, they'll reuse aspects the game engine, character models, battle system and other features for future FFVIIR games, so they shouldn't take as much time and money to develop as the first part...

Call me a mean jerk if you will, but I'm a bit glad that Persona 5 Royal is out already not only of the Top 10, but out of the Top 40, according to UKIE. Gamers still have dignity.

They should have given us original P5 players the option to buy the upgrade separately, like some other games allow us to, instead of expecting us to shell out $60 again for mostly the same game with a few extra bells and whistles.

At the very least they should have allowed us to transfer the Persona Compendium and the social stats, like P3 and P3FES did years ago.

A remaster with some extra content, launching again on the same console where it released just a few years ago, competing against Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Final Fantasy VII Remake, DOOM ETERNAL and Resident Evil 3 Remake all at once... It'd have been better if they delayed it at least a month or two.

Nintendo Switches are sold out everywhere in the UK from what I've heard, that very likely causes game sales to drop.

R3make's physical sales must have been affected by the C19. Perhaps it sold more digitally than REmake 2. I myself would like it physical, but the stores where I buy it are closed because of the virus.

Persona 5 Royal, just at #5... Have to admit I think it deserves even less than that. The Royal content should also have been optionally a DLC upgrade for those of us who already own the original PS4 game, not basically $60 DLC.
