Famitsu's Japanese chart figures are now in for 25th - 31st May, revealing that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is still standing strong at number one.

The game sold an estimated 102,749 copies last week - an almost identical figure to the week before - leaving this week's new Switch title Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition in second place. The JRPG shifted 90,789 physical copies in the region in its debut week. Xenoblade did manage to reach number one in the UK, however.

Nintendo took eight of the top ten this week, with two new PS4 releases also appearing.

Nintendo Switch family hardware sales saw another boost this week, with sales for both the original model and the Lite doubling week-on-week. Here are this week's figures, followed by lifetime sales in brackets:
