The current state of the franchise saddens me too... But for now let's focus on the good memories: From Outer Haven, to Shadow Moses, to the Soviet Union, to all over the world, Solid Snake and Big Boss had quite the adventures.

Here's hoping Konami has, if not a big enough change of heart to make a new game, at least remembers to port the games to new consoles, and of course agrees to have Snake appear in any future Smash games.
