Re: Japanese Charts: Nintendo Switch And Pokémon Continue To Dominate The Top Spot

@Selim From what I heard, the video compilations of glitches were taken from pirated copies played on emulators that couldn't properly run the games, making Pokémon S&V look like an unplayable mess.

I just had one single major glitch near the beginning of the game, an infinite loading screen when starting the Bug Gym Trial, that cost me just around one minute of progress. Apart from that, besides the occasional framerate drops, I had no major issues myself.

There was already a patch that apparently fixed some things, and another is coming in February, I heard.

Glad that people didn't listen to all the Debbie Downers that mashed together videos of glitches that happened to different players, some of who, I heard, were playing pirated copies on emulators that couldn't properiy run the software, in order to make Pokémon S&V look like an unplayable mess.

(Then again, it's Pokémon. Even if it really had been that bad, it'd still have sold a lot.)

Awesome game, here's looking forward to how further they evolve the series.

This gives me the happies. Although I liked Three Houses' social mechanics, it's true that eventually they bog down the game... and ALL Support Levels starting from scratch in a New Game Plus, with only Byleth's being buyable, didn't help.

Some may not like how the social sim mechanics have been cut down, but for others, it's a welcomed change. Perhaps one day they can find a nice balance. In the meantime, can't wait for Thursday midnight.

@Giancarlothomaz Oh, dang. Yes, that was crazy. Took me many tries to get it done. Also the one where you have to bounce on enemies and not touch the floor. Haven't finished the game, got distracted with others at around Chapter 7 or 8, seems it was for the best. Will resume the game these days, despite a few issues I've enjoyed what I've played of it so far.

Great game, though it took me around 4.5 years to finish the main story since I couldn't understand the battle system. If they ever remake/remaster it, they really should include reviewable tutorials and a practice mode. I didn't get the Elemental Combo/Burst mechanics until literally the last battle of the second to last chapter after looking it up online. Still, amazing journey.

Thank you for this gift of light.
