Ever since Joker was announced as a DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, there have been ongoing rumours about Atlus bringing the mainline Persona series to the Nintendo Switch. While the fifth entry was the one previously listed by online retailers, it seems the attention has now turned to the fourth game.

Why is this, exactly? Well, if you hadn't already heard the news, the PS Vita title Persona 4 Golden appears to be arriving on PC on 13th June. Information about this leaked earlier today and was then seemingly confirmed by multiple sources and games media outlets. Despite the fact there's been no mention of a Switch release, there's been a lot of talk on social media since then about how PC has potentially got a mainline Persona game before the hybrid system.

Of course, there's no guarantee Persona 4 Golden will be a PC-only release, but there are some theories out there that Atlus may not port Persona 4 Golden to anything else. For now, though, here's a round-up of some of the reactions to this news:
