Even after three years, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild continues to surprise us in more ways than one.
There's also still a community out there speedrunning, glitching, and modding the game on a regular basis. The latest mod, made by banan039 and highlighted by the YouTube channel BeardBear, swaps out the hero of time for Mario's brother, Luigi.
Rather than gameplay, though, we get to relive the memorable moment when Link visits The Great Deku Tree to "pull" the Master Sword. Take a look below:

These type of videos have been available since like, a week after the games release. Model swap master sword videos are so so so overdone it has lost all meaning. If I had a penny for every "what if this character pulled the master sword" video in my reccomendations, I would be rich

the animation of Luigi pulling the sword needs to be fixed so that it does not go through his nose while pulling it out. him killing himself (by accident) after completing a mission is not his idea of success. unless he is being controlled by King Boo who wants to conquer a realm outside of the mushroom kingdom.
or better yet, add an additional scene of where Mario, peach, toad, or daisy rescue Luigi, after his failure to pull the sword from the stone. (or for him accidentally stabbing himself in the nose while pulling the sword out.)

Huh, I was hoping for some new animation, not just a mesh swap that clips all over the place.
If Luigi pulled the Master Sword he'd be trembling with anticipation and nerves before. He'd struggle a lot, probably put his foot up on the stone for extra purchase and stumble a little as it started to give way. That would give him the resolve he needed and he'd give it all his strength and fall over onto his bum as it was released. He'd then look at it and "oooh" a little, then he'd pick himself up, dust himself off and hold it in the air and shout "I did it!".
That's what I wanted to see anyway.
Slightly disappointed that they just let his nose clip through his hands, but I still consider myself entertained.

At this point the breaks or hacks have become so revealing that I have suspended anticipation as they seem to get more wilder by the week...stuff that I would of said that’s impossible cause you can not see the code I thought. I will not surprised if next I see Ken/Ryu or Kirby running around in the game. I can only imagine the developers are entertained by all these into-the-wild influences on their game.
But... we already had Waluigi. This is a downgrade!
