Ah gen 3, the last gen I really played through to completion and enjoyed doing so. Sword/shield and scarlet/violet didn't do much for me

I've been holding off on the first collection. When this new one comes out I'll get both so I can experience the complete story.

@contractcooker it is tied to nso. I wanted to check out the games bit I'm not gonna buy a necessary accessory for a couple of games. Especially not at the price point they are asking. So im paying for nso but cant use a part of it without forking over more money. That is my issue with it.

Whatever emulation system nintendo uses, it seems to cause numerous issues. I hope they can fix it. If you advertise your console as being backwards compatible, then I expect to be able to play those games without issues. Exceptions are accerory dependent games like ring fit for example

Wait wait wait. So they realeased skull and bones which was a disaster development wise (and barely anyone cared about). Yet they cancel a remake???? Plus lets not forget about the vaporware that is beyond good and evil 2. Ubisoft has to be studied. The CEOs have to be studied. Sooooo much wasted talent. It's sad really.

Yo dawg we heard you like stability. So we put more stability into the stability, so you can stability while you're more stable. At this point the switch 2 is so stable it might be the center of the universe.

On a more serious note bring on more backwards compatibility fixes as there are still games that need it. Though I'm not sure if nintendo themselves has any say in that or if that is up to the devs or publishers whose games it concerns.

Now we just need more beautiful colors

I can bend my fingers backwards to an almost 90 degree angle. None of my friends can do it so I guess its a mild and small form of hyperflexibility. Tough I cant touch my toes when I bend down with straight legs. So it's a give and take. That being said the pictures do look weird especially that one thumb. But then again there are people that can bend and disjoint fingers in all sorts of ways. There are far more outrageous and blatant uses of AI than this....

I find the colors on the joycon 2 to be pretty underwhelming and boring tbh. The joycon 1 were so much more colorful. Here the colors are muted and drab looking in comparison. Plus when attached there's barely any color except the rings around the sticks. Unless mine start having drift issues or theres a special edition, I don't see myself switching to another pair.

Edit: They could've made the colors brighter and make them pop more.

Love the earthy color pallete they used. Makes it look like the pixelart was printed on wood or parchment. I also like the style quite a bit. Definitely gonna keep an eye out.

This one is a wait for a deep sale. Since its first party, it'll take years for it to go on sale if it does so at all so.... really disappointed in what happened to this game. It was legit a reason I bought the switch 1 and upgraded to the switch 2. Such a shame. Here's hoping we get 2 and 3 released. Not that I have much hope but still.

Aaaaahhh Hollow Knight. Started the game a total of 8 times just to stop somewhere near dung knight or whatever he is called. Such a fantastic game with gameplay that my reflexes can't adapt to.

The development hell left some noticable scars. I'm sure that many are waiting for a sale since games have gotten more and more expensive.

@carlos82 welcome to modern gaming. Send out a barely finished product and then maybe MAYBE fix it post launch. Or rather attempt to fix it post launch just to break it even more. It's sad really.

These prices are ridiculous. Then again pricing for pc peripherals amd gaming in general has become absurd. Where I live, base games without any dlc and other stuff regularly cost 100. At 300 ( so probably 400 where I live) for a keyboard I expect it to make me dinner and pay rent too.....

@Jeronan You know what's baffling? That whole issue can be solved in a really simple way. Only give me.a hi t when I press a button. Voila problem solved. If I want myles or whoever to tell me where to go, I could press a button and ask him. It's sad to see a series as exploration heavy as metroid go down this path. Getting lost is part of the experience.

Edit: I could also be overreacting but stuff like overly quippy characters ruin the experince for me. Especially when they spoil puzzles and constantly remind you of where to go.

@Metazoxan If it were so minor then why make it a whole negative point? Other reviews also point hout how they keep reminding you of stuff way past the tutorial. Idk without playing for myself I will never know and honestly I'm fine with that. Maybe on a deep sale or when some tiem has passed. (Maybe they add an option to shut companions up). Im not here to try and take away anyones fun or interest btw. Incase I came off like that. Im glad the game is getting released and if anything it will be a visually stunning experince.

The negative point about myles bugging you too much is exactly why I won't be getting it. I'm so tired of constantly being told where to go and reminded of stuff in the environment by some npc voice. Let me explore. That's what I want to do in these games. I dont mind more story. But during gameplay shut up and let me make my own decision. Hopefully anyone getzing it doesnt see this as much of a stick up as I see it and can enjoy it. To me though this sounds like the marvelisation of a franchise best known for its atmosphere and to me nithing destroys an atmosphere more than constantly being told what to do.

I cant wait to be told over and over again that I missed something in the world by these marvel rejects. No myles I didnt miss the checkpoint I just wanna explore, shut up! I'll be saving my money, cant believe I'm saying this about prime 4 the game I bought the original switch for. But oh well. I hope those that get it can enjoy it. But this isnt it nintendo. It's the opposite of what it should've been.

Not a fan of pvpve game in general so I might skip this one unless the pvp part is optional.

After reading about the myles character, this went from a must have, to a wait until I know how much and many of these types of characters are in it. Out of all the franchises to add marvel humour and they go for metroid..... the fact that this has been a consideration tells me, that they forgot what metroid means to many of us. I hope I'm wrong.......

I'm exclusively on wifi. Sucks that so many here are having issues :/. Is it a quility control issue? Or did an update bork something up? Eitherway I hope all of you having issues can get them resolved
