@BlaizeV I can kinda see that, but if this is just a spinoff and the open world is the main focus, then why. Why, is the map so barren and feels so tacked on? Why is the ungame map so useless? Why cant I track stuff ingame and is tead need to use 3rd party websites? Why is the minimap so zoomed in and I cant change its zoom level? There are soooooo many weird and flatout baffling or terrible design choices that it makes me wo der if the team that made this game were 1st year interns (ok not THAT bad but you get what I mean).

@Mr_Zurkon yeah free roam feels tacked on. It looks great dont get me wro g but how you unlock the costumes and all that is just so....obtuse?.....padded out?.....unfinished? Idk. It just feels liek an after thought. The game itself is great but like Mario tennis or golf at launch there are just so many baffling design decisions.....

In my Opinion. If you're not gonna tellwhat the issues where, then why even do patch notes? For all the crap I give to ubisoft, but their patchnotes are fantastic. Listing the issues and even if they dont have a fix they thell you what solutions are planned. Nintendos patchnotes are practically useless..... But that's just my 2 cents. Atleast their games are fun (which is all that matters)

It looms a bit blurry handheld imo. It's not gamebreaking. Performance is fine 30 at worst but mostly sitting a bit higher. HDR in Handheld is rubbish. Turn it off and enjoy incredible color work. Game is well suited to Handheld play since the missions arent overly long. Oh and the screenshots in this article seem a tad bit too dim/dark.

Nah, I have no use for it as I play mostly local coop on switch 2. If I play online with friends it's on pc via discord. That being said its good to see nintendo joining the modern times..... kinda

@Tayrailbridge Hard disagree. There where too many moons iirc there were 900 but many of them were just out in the open or you needed to ground pound specific spots which were also easy to get. Also soooo many challenges were just repeated ad nauseum. Quality over quantity, that should be the the guiding thought. Watch joseph amderson vid abot odyssey. He breaks it down way better than I could in a comment. (Or dont idc, but not everyone sees odyssey as this flawless masterpiece)

DK new design has grown on me and the direct has me actually looking forward to it. I just hope they dont overdo it with the bananas loke they did the moons in Odyssey.

Im gonna get yakuza and FAST soon-ish. But right now I'm saving up for DK bananza. On the bigger picture side of things I'm saving up for a new car since my current one will soon need a new clutch and a few other things. Since the car is quite old its not worth it to fix so yeah.... but now I'm rambling. I wonder how they track key cards in all of this?🤔

If I do have sceatches, they are so light, that I dont notice them at all. I am however very careful. My launch switch has one noticable hick in the bezel area. Otherwise you could mistaken it for lightly used. I tend to be as cerful as can be with my stuff. Except smartphones which seem to leap out of my hands at any given moment.

Ah yes because eveyone uses pokemon home a paid service..... what kinda response is that, if nintendo says all files will be transferred then I expect all files to be transferred... especially if there is no error message as claimed here. Then again how did his gba save files end up on switch without pokemon home? Something doesn't add up....

@Arawn93 yeah my psp Battery bloated after years of use and then after years of non use. I just noticed ot one day as I was movi g stuff that the battery cover came.off and the Battery was swollen. Nothing else happened and if I really needed I could get a replacement or perhaps play it while plugged in

Battery swelling has nothing to do with the device and wether it'll get a revision or not. These types of Battery can swell due to internal problems which can happen at any point in a charge cycle. From the outside you wouldn't see anything unusual until the fault happens. Fun fact: Your smartphone can do the same thing at any given moment. Now let's stop the fwarmongering and get back to more pressing matters: My Tea this morning was slightliy less hot than yesterday!

Ive been playing daily on various games, mostly BOTW(upgraded), no mans sky(upgraded) and Mario Kart World. From full charge down to around 5 to 10 percent. Then let it charge and then played down again. Not only does it seem that the Battery life has improved itself (could be placebo, I dont pay attentuon to the time as much). But ive never seen this error/warning popping up. Very interesting.

@RBRTMNZ yeah having to look up a guide to find some stuff is not the end of the world but they could show more stuff on the ingame map.....

I think so far its an 8. But with DLC it can go way higher. Just imagine more courses both old and new similar to what mario kart 8 got. In general I find it hard to compare the two since 8 has had fantastic post launch support.

Haven't set my switch 2 up for gamechat and honestly not sure I will. Not becuase the feature is bad but I play mostly split screen coop with friends and if we do play online its via discord..... but hey having more features means more choice and that is a very good thing

I sit firmly in the camp of: the more choices the better. Now that the switch 2 isn't as woefully underpowered as the switch 1 was in comparison. This means more choices on more platforms. In my book thats a good thing. Now we just need to stip with the release broken games then fix later mentality and all will be good.

I can't wait to give the witcher 3 a go on switch 2. While I do have it on pc which is obviously superior, having it in the go for longer journeys is fantastic. All one needs is a powerful powerbank and you're good to go

It looks fine by me. A definitive upgrade over my launch Switch. I never got the oled version so I'm absolutely fine with it. Its shapr and the size is so big the bezels arent distracting which was my biggest worry.

@Kwyjibo_Kitsune omg the switch 2 sucks!!!! Dont buy it!!!!!......Guys nintendo fumbled my pre order!!!!!... Guys I got the Switch 2 on Launch day!!!!! I camped for 8 Hours straight!!!!!
These guys and many more in a nutshell. But that was kind of expected from them. One that that did suprise me was Mutahar as he always seemd to live by what he preaches but now Im getting off topic.

As far as drifting goes it seems to my untrained eyes that the red and blue parts around the joysticks serve as covers. Basically the joycon 1 sticks were open if that makes sense so drift could easily be caused by dust particles getting into the stick sensor unit. How effective the covers are remains to be seen but they do help with making the sticks feel smoother.

I got mine yesterday and I'm happy with it. The ZR/Zl buttons are a bit wiggly but this seems by design, if it were a huge issue it would have made the rounds online. So far mario kart is a blast (shocking I know) and playing botw in 60 fps is just chef's kiss. HDR I havent noticed much in Handheld (I dont have an HDR TV.) It is exactly what I expected, a stronger switch. Also the new magnet system for the Joycons is fantastic, though the little holder needs some getting used to.

I hope mine won't have this issue....Hopefully it can be fixed via Firmware updates

I remember having the version with Ocarina of time as a second disc. To this day itnis onenof my favorite games. I don't think I have the Gamecube game anymore so glad its officially available again. NOW LET ME BUY IT!

Can't wait to replay wind waker (it's been a while) and playing f zero gx for the first time (never owned it back then).
