Re: Nightdive Studios And Limited Run Revive System Shock 2 With A 'Big Box Edition'

I wish I could get into system shock but I just can't. I get past the intro and then get lost immediately and then die. Early on an alarm goes of because of pressure or something and I cannot deal with time sensitive spikes like these when I have no layout of the map. So I just get lost, run in circles and then die. Everything looks the same. I get its a classic but having never played the originals and now coming back it just is so unclear where to go and what to do. It just confuses me. Interestingly enough no issues liem.that with bioshock or prey so.... it a me problem but not one I can do much about. Other than playing with a walkthrough at which point I might just watch a lets play. Glad about the physical for those that want it. Hopefully LGR delivers (heard many bad stories about them)

Re: Mario Kart World Has Been Updated To Version 1.2.1, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

@SalvorHardin yeah i guess the implementation is what makes it so unappealing. Also not having a good way to track your progress and having a near useless Map also makes it less of a joy. Exploring is something they got right with the zeldas but MKW just doesnt have that same appeal. The map itself just doesnt grab me as much as Hyrule did. It feels like an afterthought.

Idk but MKW is just so boring for me. Most other Mario Karts have more for singpleplaayer people like me. But the open world is just not fun to drive around in. they are tooo slow imo and the wordl.to big and empty. Got all the costumes but now I dont feel like continuing. The track themselves are fine but needing them to be part of an open world seem to have put a leash on creativity. Im glad I got in in the Bundle. Its not a bad game but it's just......barebones I guess.

Remember concord? How long did that game last? Oh and what about all those pvp only games like brink for example? You can still make those. Also the point is that online games need to be playable after sunsetting. So lets say a LAN mode or AI opponents or maybe private server compatability you know. I came up with these 3 solutions in less than a minute. But game companies dont just want money. They want ALL the money forever. If the product no longer sells then we arent allowed to enjoy it apparently. This industry is starting to make me sicker by the minute. Thank you greedy corporations for ruining one of my favorite hobbies...

@Oldstalk the poor execs wont get their bonus because of this tiny studio. Especially after buying activision blizzard and doing pretty much nothing of note with it. So shed a tear for the poor poor bigwigs. Ok sarcasm off, I can't keep this up, my stomach is saying hello🤢

Re: UK Charts: Hideo Kojima's Latest Project Leaves Mario Kart World Stranded In 2nd

Simu001

@Michael0916 I could be wrong but I think Digital sales are practically never accounted for in these charts. They are more meant as a way for retailer to gauge how many units are sold for which console. They dont tell much about whether the games sell well or not. They can be an indicator but until the publishers themselves are talking numbers these charts are pretty much kinda useless imo.

They way they reacted to the criticism and the way they worded their apology, made sure I won't even consider them. Dropping an excessive amount of F-bombs makes you seem less than serious about your business. I'm all for less PR speak, but even if you go the less informal route, you have to treat your customers with respect. Swearing like a sailor makes you seem childish and immature. Just my 2 cents.
