Man, oh man yakuza. What a series. I never got on with judgment (that doesnt mean its bad). But this series can get absolutely ridiculous and over the top, which may put people of. Glad to read that this seems to be the definitive version. I sarted on ps4 but never finished it, so I may give it a 2nd try here down the line.

I can tell you when mine arrives on Tuesday. Buuuuut, since I dont have it yet, I havent had any Battery issues..... Ok, ok, I'll get my coat.

God the animiation looks.....barebones. Whats it with games based on animated shows and then the games having terrible animation?

I have no ida about components but its just interesting how we manage to create such complex yet tiny things as microchips etc. It's also very very interesting in seeing it all put together. Plus I find such vids satisfying.

@Late nowadays it feels more like. Lets just get preemptively angry at everything. Feels liek outrage culture or something like that. It's one major reason why I try to avoid social media as much as possible.

Actually that's very thoughtful of them. You see they prescratch the console, that way your own first scratch you'll make won't hurt as much. 🫢

Their world designs are always top notch. So if you have experts like monolith at hand it makes sense to use them. Not only will it help other devs to branch out, it keeps the quality on a somewhat consistent level. While the previews seem mixed on the open world aspect, I personally look forward to have a relaxing ride around the Mario World.

I think its BS too but then again all my games on PC are digital now. On consoles I have gone mostly digital aswell. Switch has been mixed but woth switch 2 im gonna go all digital aswell.

So how toxic is the community gonna be? MOBAS are notorious for their toxic communities. Plus I'm not sure if Deagonball is a good fit for a moba. We'll see. Hopefully the community that builds around it is gonna be a good one.

I get that people were and are frustrated with this game (or perhaps the series as a whole). As for my 2 cents, the ship has sailed, left port and unfortunately didn't make it the journey. Maybe one day I'll try again but there are other games that get my.attention. Cant wait to play Botw and Totk at hopefully a stable performance as that was a big gripe for me.

A modern console with snappy menus? I thought the day would never come and what is that?!? The eshop doesn't take 2 eternities to load? Finally! This is such a huge QOL improvement.

@jkirchgessner07 I like the idea, but I wonder how one would incorporate platforming levels i to such a design. Unless these would be seperate levels.

Mine is due to be shipped by the 5th and thus will arrive on the 6th. So yeah glad I was erlay enough to not land on those who get it by the 17th by their (my store) estimation. Though if mine would be delayed I wouldn't mind as much since I will get the bill when it is shipped. So no money lost. Hopefully as many orders as possibly go through for all who did preorder.

Sorry but any racing game that isn't pure arcade and goes for a simulation, needs analogue triggers. Not just for acceleration but also for breaking or clutch. Switch 2 is gonna miss out on racing sims due to this. I mean remember grid? You needed tu use the right stick if you wantet throttle control... not ideal at all.....

All I'm really missing is analogue triggers. The switch 1 joycon sticks just felt flimsy in general and the plastic hook that keeps them attached wore down quickly. My joycons dont drift but the dont hold on to the console well and 1 pair slidss of easily during play. Which sucks. Also the seem to wobble as in the shaft of the stick is stationary but tthe top part as a slight wiggle to it. Oh and ove rthe years they've developed a groove on the shaft of the joystick so.... long story short, bring on the switch 2.

I can't wait to explore the map and find easter eggs and secrets. Even though open world can be ovuerused or mabe is overused, I think Mario Kart going this route can offer a lot of stuff. Since it isntbasd on realism it can get really creative without it biting the artstyle like maybe the crew or the forza Hot wheels dlc. (These aren't bad though). Anyways jsut looking foward to seeing all there is to see.

@AndrehF see that would make sense but apparently that's not what Execs are going for. Therefore I have dire news. Digital will either cost the same as physical or be even more expensive, becuase imsure they'd find a reason to justify that.

I've noticed the switch 1 joycons making aound while palying golf story. When the golfball lands in the hole it made a sound. At first I thought it game from the game but nope it was the joycons all along. This is actually pretty nifty. Switch 2 sounds like a good improvement over its predecessor and I'm looking forward to getting mine

I'm sure people will be very civil about this and there will be no fighting and behaving like utter .......

@Baker1000 Agreed, they should be around the same size like the PS Vita boxes. I hate oversized plastic boxes for tiny cartridges

I'm not sure if I'm happy about this outcome gameplay stuff shouldn't be patented imo. I mean @Jeronan said it in his fitst comment. Gliding on animals or in general has been a thing before nintendo. I fesr that this'll have far reachin repercussions. Hopefully not but its nintendo..... :/

I have mine pre-ordered but the retailer alrwady i formed me that they may be getting the switch after launch so oh well. The switch 2 is probably gonna be my last nintendo console or console in general. Xbox raised their prices years after launch ps5 isn't doing much atm aswell. So yeah.... it feels bittersweet tbh. I'm looking foward to it but mostly due to the backlog and the option to upgrade games. The higher prices of the sw2 exclusives are certainly painful. But it is like they say. You gotta stop at the high point and the switch 2 being exactly what I wanted the switch 1 to be, I'm not gonna complain 😊

It's ubisoft so ofcourse it is. I have a feeling only fiirst oarty games are gonna be true physical games (and a few 3rd party ones) but most are gonna be this key card nonsense. If they make playing games physically this complicated/difficult then switch 2 is gonna be all digital for me and my last Nintendo console.

Why would you provoke the one Gaming company that is atleast in the public eye the most litigious company? Sure microsoft and sony have had lawsuits but nintendo has shown time and tiem again that they will sue you if they have even a smidge of winning/making a point. I genuinely don't know what certain companies are thinking sometimes.

Nintendolife, Pushsquare and Purexbox are pretty much the only gaming news/community sites I use so I'm not going anywhere. 🤗

We need the power of the switch 2 to make the eshop run decently. I mean the performance of that thing is an abomination it lags frequently freezes sometimes and is slower than slow. I dont care for the colors. Make it easy and intuitive to use and make it snappy. I understand some loading, fine. But as it is now its such a slog to use. Do better nintendo. If you want me to join an all digital future make the eshop usable.

Nope either full physical or full digital. But this halfway license nonsense isn't it. It makes things needlessly confusing. Edit: Also a waste of plastic/packaging.....

@RiasGremory I find tech analysis like these useless when they obviously arent able to test it fully yet. Its like me watching a screen recording and concluding, oh it looks bad. I think most people will be more than happy with the switch. I see it more like a switch pro... plus backwards compatibility is such a huge win for me. So now I can future proof my switch library while still getting the occasional switch 2 exclusive.

@Cipher36 Same here. How do switch games perform on switch 2 WITHOUT the upgrade. Is BOTW for example still all ove rthe place in terms of performeance or is it locked 30 stable? That's my big question. I'm gonna get it regardless (I'm still on my launch switch).

@Mz3player if you look closely underneath the famicom icon, theres another square hidden. I'm assuming that you can scroll down and then access genesis games. Or its a slider and you can slide it further to the right
