Last week saw Xenoblade Chronicles 3 take a tumble from its top spot after a record-breaking opening to fall into the 10th position on the UK charts, and this week has been no easier for Monolith Soft's massive JRPG.
Slipping out of the top 10 completely, Xenoblade's departure has left a gap which has interestingly been filled by Sega and Two Point Studios' Two Point Campus. After a strong opening week across all consoles, Two Point Campus takes the number two spot on the UK charts this week — thanks in large part to the stellar Switch release which accounts for a huge 64% of the game's sales. Here's a look at the split across all consoles:
- Nintendo Switch - 64%
- PlayStation 5 - 19%
- PlayStation 4 - 12%
- Xbox Series X/S - 5%
It's worth considering, of course, that these figures represent boxed copies of the game only, so digital sales on all consoles may paint a slightly different picture.
As has come to be expected, Nintendo's other staple titles can once again be found lingering in the top 10 this week with Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Minecraft each landing a pretty standard spot.
With little to report in the way of other newcomers, here's your look at this week's UK top 10:

Horizon: Forbidden West |
- | 2 | Two Point Campus |

To be fair, the game is also on Xbox Gamepass, which likely decreases some sales on PC/Xbox.
I'm more interested in how its sales compared to the release of Two Point Hospital but great to see it getting so high in the charts.
And yet the Switch version (presumably) doesn't have touch-screen support merely because the other consoles don't have it.
The lack of touch screen support was a bit of a sore point with Two Point Hospital. Even the crosshair in the centre of the screen is unhelpful because it's so bloody inaccurate, making it very difficult to select what you intended to, and to say nothing of killing those blasted worm things.
What a dumb statistic, when even on Switch digital sales are greater than physical. Plus PS5 and Xbox Series have a digital only console
A huge 64%?
What does a small 64% look like?!?
Really surprised by TPC selling more on switch. Usually the ps4 or ps5 versions of multiplatform games outsell switch and Xbox by a big margin.
Xbox only being 1/20th makes sense since it’s on gamepass. Unless that takes GP into account, if that’s the case that number is concerning.
These charts does not make much sense anymore without the sales figures for the digital versions.
I’m convinced Switch sports will take the top spot again at some stage, even if it’s just for 1 week.
@Rambler : A poorly received Nintendo-published game?
@Rambler It's often mistaken for an over sized 63%.
Playing a lot of this! Very good, but could do with a patch to sort out a few pretty noticeable bugs.
Did UK got tired of GTA V now, they should had since Rockstar ain't making GTA VI any time soon or ever. A lot of remakes is what they had planned going forward now probably for the next ten years.
@Serpenterror Oh it's probably still in the top 20 and it will rear its ugly head in the top ten of the sales chart every so often. I just don't understand how people are still buying that game. You could say the same for so many other titles on the list but what makes GTA V so egregious is that its practically 10 years old at this point.
Just another example of how great the Switch version of third party titles sell. You might see people concern troll online about the Switch version's performance of a third party title, but people(myself included) really value the portability aspect.
Great to see Pokemon Legends, AC and MK8D still killing it in the charts.
@darkswabber I think this is the UK equivalent of Digimon Suvive doing better on Switch than Playstation 4 in Japan.
I sort of think Sony's focus on AAA production over time has basically squeezed out the lower end market, which the Switch has snapped up.
It's probably why Square Enix push Octopath, Triangle Strategy, Chocobo Racing and Live-A-Live on Switch despite releasing FF7R and FFXVI as Playstation timed exclusives.
@Silly_G the lack of touch screen on Switch games is disappointing overall. I think the only time I've used the touch screen is browsing through the eShop.
I don't see how this is surprising. The Switch has a far larger user base then the PS5 and Xbox Series combined while the PS4 is a largely dead console at this stage.
It’s on GamePass (where I’m playing it) so obviously the Xbox sales are gonna be low. Saying that, I’m surprised the Switch version has sold almost double the PS4/PS5 sales combined!
i'm playing it on gamepass but i want it on switch. for me it's so different to play a game on pc or on switch. i love my switch
