Ahead of the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet on November 18th, 2022, The Pokémon Company has showcased a rather fancy orchestral version of the games' main theme. It's the same theme that was showcased in the most recent trailer for the games, and we're not going to lie, it's pretty dazzling!
Not only that, but the video also unveils three brand new plushies based on the new Starter Pokémon from Scarlet and Violet. As a reminder, these are Sprigatito, the grass Pokémon, Fuecoco, the fire Pokémon, and Quaxly, the water Pokémon. It's likely that these will become available in all major territories in the run up to the games' release.
Scarlet and Violet have been described as the first truly open-world entries to the long-running franchise, taking cues from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, released earlier this year. For more information on the new entries, be sure to check out our article on everything we know so far!

Neat but I would like to see just a little more of what we can expect from this game, cute plushies though.
Wow! That orchestra almost looks real!
This should please the Legends Arceus naysayers!
is Pokémon Scarlet e Violet actualy gonna feature orchested music or MIDI just like all generation?i recall in E3 2013, that Junichi Masuda lied that Pokémon Y/X would be orchestred(it was MIDI).
how I miss video games live.. I went twice..
Considering the volume of leaks that had happened in the past few weeks I'm surprised they haven't put out a new gameplay trailer yet.
Can't wait for these games, already preordered digitally Violet. The best thing is that they are similar to Sw/Sh just with an open world, Shield was the best experience I had on a switch, close to playing Animal Crossing with my GF. The catching mechanics of Arceus got boring and repetitive pretty quickly, just like the free camera movement while in battle and the lack of gyms made the progression a slog
Just as long as we don't have any more savage Pokemon in the games I will be happy. I enjoyed 'Pokemon Legends: Arceus' but I didn't like how they made the Pokemon scary and attack you.
The Sprigatito plush is cute! The Fuecoco one looks a little dead behind the eyes though, haha; he looks like he’s seen some stuff he shouldn’t have.
@Giancarlothomaz May I ask where Masuda says this? I tried to find the source, but couldn't.
@Debbiee even though every game since the beginning has cautioned the player about exploring tall grass without a partner Pokemon because something may jump out and attack you?
@steventonysmith We probably would've gotten news sooner if people had stopped leaking the game.
@SpaceboyScreams Yes but when the wild Pokemon come out you go straight to battle with them and they attack the Pokemon and not the person. I never had to worry about being chased by a Snorlax before and that is pretty terrifying. lol
They need to showcase the game too.
Hey, that's a wind ensemble, not an orchestra! Neat! A little confused by the clarinet doing the tuning note, as that's traditionally the oboe's role. Anyway, this is neat.
@SolarisPolaris Masuda stated that Pokémon Y/X would be orchestred during the developer interview on E3 2013.
@Giancarlothomaz I honestly found nothing on Masuda saying any part of X/Y being orchestrated. Maybe you were thinking of the “Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions" concert, which happened about a year later?
@SolarisPolaris Masuda mentioned that Pokémon Y/X would be orchestred during the E3 2013 QA section
I love this! Fingers crossed we get more orchestral scores for Scarlet and Violet.
