We've got the latest Japanese charts for you and it's another strong week for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, with the latest generation bringing in another 310,235 sales, contributing to a running total of 3,424,806. This puts it just behind Splatoon 3's current total of 3,446,339, though it's probably safe to say that this has now been surpassed as of the time of writing.

There are only two new entries this week, including Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Dawn of the Battle Royale!! Let's Go! Go Rush!!, with the latter surely in the running for the most ridiculous game title of all time. Sparks of Hope saw decent sales to kickstart its tenure in Japan at 17,647.

Otherwise, the only non-Switch game represented this week is Horizon: Forbidden West for the PlayStation 5 at number ten, selling a rather satisfying 4,444 units.

Over on the hardware front, it's a familiar tale once again, as the Switch OLED comes out in front with over 100,000 units sold. The OG model brings in slightly fewer than 30,000, but this is enough to secure the second spot, with the Switch Lite coming in at number four just behind the PlayStation 5.

Interestingly, the PlayStation 4 has had an even bigger boost in sales this week, coming ahead of even the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S has seen a decline in sales, bringing in 1,575 down from 9,031.
