I know people on here and elsewhere are taking this with a huge grain of salt. I am too but this isn’t that quick of a turnaround since Nintendo did this time wise before. People on here and the writer of this article forgets that the switch 1 had a second big direct event in January of 2017 before the March 3rd release. It was only around 7 weeks between that second direct and the switch 1 release. So following that logic, May 15th makes sense but I am thinking later in May like May 22 or going to early June. The Nintendo switch 2 hands on events don’t matter or affect the release of the switch 2 either
@FishyS thanks but I didn’t do that crazy dungeon that unlocks near the end which is practically impossible to do without doing new game plus. I won’t say anymore on that but doing that side quest(although it’s on story mode quest for some odd reason) would like another 80 hours 😂.
@ScalenePowers yes. I look at the how long to beat web site all the time for games I am playing so I can chart out which ones to play first and a little in the future. Also yes, fantasian on there is definitely messed up for the hour count. The game with all side quests took me like 80 hours. 😅. Mainly because I kept dying a lot plus o had it on hard. Don’t know why I did that 🤦♂️. If you got the skill tree then you should just be starting the second part of the game which is longer and harder. Don’t know which mode you have it on but it should still be a while before you beat it. If you need any advice for the game let me know.
Just got my GKD Pixel 2 a couple of days ago so I will be messing around with that for retro gaming. It’s such an awesome little device even with some of its flaws. It’s a brand new device afterall.
Anyway the games I am playing now before Xenoblade X DE comes is:
Card en ciel- I just got through some more dungeons. It took a long while for me to get used to the game mechanics but I am now doing great at it. I think I am almost done with the main story. Pretty good game.
Chaos head Noah- I promise to play this one more. 😂
Bravely default 1 on 3ds- gotten far in the fourth chapter. I am just before a major boss fight. Still don’t like this game much at all. 😂
@John_Deacon most of the time yes for coding it in. However if the game has a dynamic resolution and unlocked framerate then it will get a performance boost automatically on more powerful hardware. Some switch games do have this but lots of them don’t too. This game could have probably or it will be some sort of patch because koei tecmo has a good relationship with Nintendo and probably knew about switch 2 for a while. Like others say here say, the switch 2 can’t come soon enough. Luckily I will be busy with xenoblade before I play this but will get it at some point
Well I will be a little busy this week but I beat Fantasian Neo Dimension a few days ago. Did all side quests too. What a game! 😅. It’s like a bunch of old final fantasy games mixed with a little kingdom hearts and maybe a little Nier automata. 😂 long game but a good one. Tough as nails though. It’s frustratingly difficult at times in the second half of the game. Even had to lower the difficulty to normal on some small parts. It’s also a total grind fest if you are going to do everything on it. This game actually forces you to do new game + to complete everything too. I won’t be doing that. Beating the game and side quests is enough for me 😂
Elsewhere I am playing these:
Card en ciel - beat the third dungeon which was much harder then I thought. This game can be tough to master. Getting a good score too is nearly impossible for me 😂.
Bravely default on 3ds - still stuck on chapter 4 but I am just before another tough boss battle. Maybe I will do that and continue this weekend
Chaos head Noah - I need to pick this game up again. Haven’t played it as much as I should. Still on chapter 2
@TotalHenshin I get there has to be a cutoff somewhere, I am just arguing that it’s a stupid cutoff since 90 is so high if you think about it. That 79 example you put up I am not even mentioning. Doesn’t matter to me.
I do agree that Nintendo didn’t have its best year and it isn’t a huge deal especially with switch 2 coming. Got a lot of backlog anyway which most people or gamers rather should have.
It’s complicated here. 2024 wasn’t a stellar year for Nintendo/Nintendo games but it’s stupid to say 90 and higher means a great game. I would say 80 and higher is still a great game. Paper Mario ttyd got 88 on metacritic. That’s a high score and it’s great game. Just because it’s 2 points away from a crazy high score, it’s not a great game? Metacritic can be a joke sometimes. Echoes and jamboree aren’t far from that either.
Xenoblade X of course for me. Even pre ordered it. Atelier yumia looks really good. I think I might get that but I will wait for reviews and such. Another game that is coming out this month that’s not on the list that I most likely will get us the ever 17 bundle. A precursor/prototype to the zero escape games.
Can’t wait for xenoblade X to come out but I want to get games finished first so I am glad it’s coming out in a few weeks.
Fantasian neo dimension - I am almost done with the game. At the final boss now. I think 😂. There is that optional dungeon which requires a metric ton of grinding that I think I might skip because it will require me to do New game plus and I don’t have that much time 😂. I hate new game pluses. I never do them and there no point in doing that for a long rpg.
Bravely default on 3ds - still on chapter 4. Progress is slow because I hate this game and battle system 😂
Chaos head Noah - not made any progress but I should soon. Still on the second chapter
Card en ciel - should make progress on it too after playing the demo and transferring it to the full game.
Let’s see… I bought Card en Ciel just recently so I will be trying to play a little of that. It’s hard to get into battle mechanics wise when it’s been a while since I played the demo. 😂
Playing Fantasian Neo Dimension - near the end I think of the game. Some people weren’t kidding when they said it was very hard in the second part of the game which is why they added an “normal” mode. Some side quests boss kicked my butt even though I was at the recommended level and passed it in some cases. Still a great game though. Really loving it.
Bravely default 1 on 3ds - ugh. About to fight 2 annoying bosses in chapter 4 now.
Finally beat Reynatis a couple of days ago. Main story and the extra episodes. The extra episodes which some take place after the main ending was depressing. Wasn’t expecting it. The game wasn’t good though. Last time I think I ever buy a furyu game even if they big bands attached to it smh. The terrible performance is one of the worst aspects of this game. Crashed on me almost 10 times. Laggiest game I have ever played in a long time.
Playing fantasian neo dimension - beat one crazy annoying hard boss. Geez. I know I had the game on hard but the level recommended is definitely lying 😂. I think I am more then half way there the game but I am not sure. Liking the game a bit so far despite some performance issues here and there.
Chaos head Noah has no progress yet beyond the second chapter but I will try to get into it 😂
Bravely default on 3ds - still on chapter 4. Not much progress. Will try to beat those bosses for exp. Still don’t like the game 😂
I did finish Zelda echoes of wisdom though yesterday. Good game but not my favorite Zelda. Way too much like totk and botw. Don’t like that it’s also part of the old timeline, should have been part of the new timeline with some of the enemies present in it. I hope that these Zelda type games are not going to keep happening but I digress.
Playing reynatis - on chapter 31. Getting to the end. Game is not good at all 😂 sadly.
Playing fantasian neo dimension - haven’t gotten far from last week. Still in the beginning of the second part of the game from what I heard.
Bravely default 1 on 3ds - still on chapter 4. About to take on some bosses. Still not liking the game much 😂
Reynatis - in the middle of chapter 19 now. Things are picking up. I think 😂
Zelda echoes of wisdom - on my way to the sixth dungeon? now after beating eldin in the Faron wetland. Interesting place. Still quite a lot like totk. The dekus here are funny.
Fantasian neo dimension - I got through the first part/half of the game. What a ride. Now I am just beginning the Brutal second part of the game. Might have to play it on normal mode after what I heard 😂
Maybe play a little super Mario party jamboree.
Got to get back to playing choas head Noah. 😂
On the 3ds I am playing bravely default still. I am on chapter 4 now though at least. Hopefully it picks up
@UltimateOtaku91 Bayonetta and Tokyo mirage sessions and astral chain(now) are Nintendo games. Well Bayonetta 1 is multiplat though. Live a live was exclusive to Nintendo for a long time until the remake but that doesn’t count
Well after the switch 2 trailer reveal just dropped, I got to work harder to get my backlog done and pick up a few games before it arrives but in the meantime I am still playing:
Reynatis - in the middle of chapter 16 now. Performance and graphics still bad 😂
Zelda echoes of wisdom - on my way to the fourth dungeon now I think which is eldin. Game has opened up more and it’s not bad. Not my favorite 2d Zelda but it good so far. Too much like totk though is what drags it down for me.
Fantasian neo dimension - I am trying to escape this jail for now lol. I heard I am in still in the part 1 of this game.
Maybe play a little super Mario party jamboree.
Got to get back to playing choas head Noah. 😂
On the 3ds I am playing bravely default still. Long flipping game. Still not liking it. I am on chapter 4 now though at least. Hopefully it picks up
Kamiya needs to tone it down sometimes. I agree with him in a small part on this but this specific matter about the switch 2 was going to happen anyway. Leaks happen. Just get over it. Sorry to say that but I am not sorry lol
Currently playing: Fantasian neo dimension - on the first half of the game. Liking it so far except for some performance issues on switch.
Zelda echoes - just beat the second dungeon. About to head to the next phase of the story it seems. A charming game but I don’t see the fuss about it. Liked old 2d Zelda games better still.
Reynatis - in the middle of chapter 11. Story is starting to pick up and it’s not bad but the performance and sometimes graphics in some areas are the worst. Don’t know why I picked this game up 🤦♂️.
Playing through bravely default 1 on 3ds. This game is so long ughhh. I still don’t like the game but I got to finish it. I just got to chapter 4. It better get interesting because so far it isn’t.
Very interesting and cool that unicorn overlord made it to the top. I haven’t gone past the demo but it was an interesting game. I might get the full game later down the line. Games that released in 2024 on switch that are my top 3 are paper Mario ttyd(the best game this year) super Mario party jamboree(I guess) and fantasian(though I am Nowhere near finished with the game 😂). All other games I played and beat this year where games that came out in 2023 or an earlier year. Don’t have much love for Zelda echoes for many reasons but it’s good to play a 2d Zelda I guess. Game is too much like totk which is the biggest disappointment for me. I hope this is not a standard going forward
For the weekend, I am playing the fantasian demo which I am liking so far. Curious to see how hard it gets when I get the full game by christmas.
Still working on chaos head Noah. Only still on chapter 1 😂
I might play some Megaman battle network collection but it’s not a backlog game for me.
On the 3ds side, bravely default 1 is the main game I am working on. In the middle of chapter 3 so far. Still not liking the game. Hope it gets better. Freaking hard game too.
It’s already been said but the game doesn’t really need a sequel in my opinion as the game is pretty much a complete experience story wise and it’s a very long game. As some people on here said. Vanillaware doesn’t really do sequels and while I won’t mind it, I think it’s best they keep making more new games rather the sequels and seeing things we already have seen before. Plus it takes a long time for them to make games so might as well do new games then sequels in my view.
Mine is 25 games at around 1000 hours. Yeah. Kinda of crazy 😂. Top 3 games I played were: Fire emblem engage Octopath traveler 2 Fortnite(but I play for friends and family.)
Shame to put fortnite there but if not for fortnite then it would be baten kaitos(origins/2 specifically)
I will not give out the hours I put in all of my games 😂. The game I picked for my game of the year is paper Mario ttyd. Was so good! A close second would probably be 13 sentinels. Such a good game. Either that for my close second or Mario wonder, fire emblem engage, star ocean 2, octopath traveler 2 Or Voice of cards the forsaken maiden. All great games.
It’s been a while since I posted anything. But I am not doing much gaming besides playing a little Mario party jamboree maybe. Some chaos head Noah probably. And on the 3ds side, bravely default 1 which I want to finish so I can be done with finally ughh. I am not liking that game much at all.
Could be a Metroid prime 4 trailer or something and possibly an announcement of Metroid 2 and/or 3 but beyond that(lol) I don’t see Nintendo doing anything else. I have said this on other sites and stuff but Nintendo or at least Nintendo of japan of doesn’t see game awards as a place to announce the most crazy things. Would love to be proven wrong but if last year’s game awards(wrap it up statement) is anything to go by then I would say it will be the same. Nintendo doesn’t need game awards. Geoff can beg all he wants like he always does to Nintendo but Nintendo does what they want. Simple as that.
I usually have my own personal game of the year awards with myself and a friend. We rate all games we played throughout the year no matter the year they came out. My nominations list is:
Super Mario wonder Fire emblem engage Star ocean 2 the second story R 13 sentinels Paper Mario the thousand year door Octopath traveler 2 Voice of cards: the forsaken maiden
I played non switch non Nintendo games too but none were on this list this year. Yes, most of these games did not come out this year but that just goes to show you that 2024 for Nintendo for me wasn’t that great. Although I want to play emio, I will hold off on it. Echoes of wisdom is something I have to get later even though I know I won’t like the game much so it won’t get goty from me regardless lol. Super Mario party jamboree is good but definitely not the best Mario party game.
After looking at my list, paper Mario the thousand year door wins game of the year to me. Just such an amazing game done even better somehow. Not a single weakness in that game to me. There are some close runner ups like 13 sentinels or octopath 2 but they had some problems in certain areas where it kept from being my game goty. Well every game on that list besides paper Mario is a close runner up though 😂
Will be busy studying but if I have free time I will likely play a little choas head Noah, Megaman battle network collection and maybe super Mario party jamboree.
Got to say, I love the hot fuzz reference on this article 😂. I also love the fact that a few people on here are playing Nier automata. Such a masterpiece. To the person here playing Nier replicant, yeah it might not come to switch but it should definitely come to switch 2.
Hmm… not much going on for me after beating alan wake 1 remaster on switch and drakengard 3 on ps3. I will probably play some Megaman battle network collection(specifically battle network 4 red sun, since I never played that version, only blue moon)
Maybe I will start chaos head Noah on switch since my copy has just been sitting there 😂. But I can’t devote to much time to it now since I am studying for a big test for the beginning of December.
Still mostly the same stuff from last week. Playing Alan wake remastered and doing the dlc stuff. Been an interesting game. I do like it. My friend didn’t even start it like we promised ugh.
Just Unlocked the bowser board in Mario party jamboree. Can’t wait to play that.
Drakengard 3 on my ps3. Got to the last part in the game. Hated the freaking rhythm genre they put into the game that has no business being there. Hardest part in the game. Impossible for me to do it. I need save states to do something like that. I just looked up the ending online which wasn’t much. Never had to do that in a game ever. Just goes to show how hard that part is. Still have the last part of the dlc to do so I will do that. Very disappointed by this game overall. Only thing good about it is story and characters
@AJWolfTill I was saying in a general sense. They don’t bash all the time, mainly botw is like the one of the very few games they praise a lot when it released. But after all that I saw from ign, they still have a bit of an “attitude” towards Nintendo. You can say whatever you want. It’s your opinion. But from what I’ve seen from them, I still stand by what I said.
It’s ign. They are usually like this to Nintendo and it’s games. Not all the time but they used to be during the Wii U days and before them. I stopped taking them seriously years ago even though they used to be my favorite news site for games way back then.
Feel like it’s been a while since I’ve been on here lol. I just beat Voice of Cards Forsaken Maiden a few days ago and the secret boss too. The game is definitely harder then the first game but it was good. Very emotional too.
Also just beat Alan wake remastered after that. Good story. Kept me hooked. The gameplay is a little janky like resident evil 6 or revelation 2 but it was good enough. I still have to play the dlc story stuff on it to see what else happens.
Will try to play some drakengard 3 on other consoles besides switch lol.
Didn’t finish it on my Wii U(still only in the beginning of it) since it was annoying to set the game up all the time lol. Will most likely be buying it day 1 but a couple of things might hold me back from buying it day 1. Like is it going to have switch 2 enhancements when it comes out or whatever and will it have Japanese voices in addition to the English ones(which I think it will most likely given the past titles on switch).
I haven’t tried all the side modes and haven’t played all the boards yet but I think this is an ok Mario party. Not the best but not the worst. Definitely better then the super Mario party but not as good as superstars, the last one. Some of the new mini games, including the motion ones are not good. However there are some really fun ones on there. I am mixed on this. Maybe it will get better but I am not liking how they combined both of the last Mario parties together. Some mini games are not playable when using a pro controller which sucks. Not a lot of mini games as I thought. Glad they brought back some mini games from past games though
Finally beat the stupid super boss in Octopath traveler 2. Man what a hard fight. Had to cheese it a little to beat it. There is that update patch/dlc that gives you more super bosses to fight on the start screen but they are way harder for some reason 😅. I decided not to do it for now. Beating the super boss was enough.
I have moved on to playing voice of cards forsaken maiden. Played the first game a while ago and loved it a lot. Love that they mirror the Nier games and that you can get the music from them too which makes the game even more awesome.
Started Alan wake too but my friend who I am supposed to be playing it with is procrastinating so I am doing the beginning on my own. He will have to catch up later lol.
Also just got super Mario party Jamboree. So far it’s a bit mixed with me. I like some things of it and I hate some about it. I will still keep playing it though. Hopefully it gets better
On vacation so not doing a lot of gaming now but I did finish the main story and epilogue for octopath 2. Finally it is done. Lol. One problem remains though which is the super boss from the first game. I don’t have it in me to go through that again lol. Have to look up a video on how to do that. Lol.
Hopefully will start Alan wake remastered soon on switch with my friend.
I usually don’t comment on this but I am glad Nintendo won’t allow anyone to buy them. Not Microsoft, not Saudi Arabia or anyone else. I still don’t understand that snk deal since the Japanese government really takes a close look at outsiders buying up companies in japan. I think there is something else going on besides what was listed above in this comment section but that’s just my speculation. I am an investor of Nintendo myself. I got a lot of my money on them specifically so I always watch for news about stock very closely. I get why Saudi Arabia is doing this of course but I will say that the issues in Saudi Arabia like human rights is a big deal. They still won’t really acknowledge any wrong on their part(or rather feel guilty from the things they were accused of it seems) Not that I expected them too. 😂. This just what I know from people I have talked to and read about.
Mostly just finishing off the final chapters of octopath 2. Got 3 more to go. Then comes the very difficult post game stuff. Ugh.
I just bought voice of cards the forsaken maiden since it was on sale. Loved the first game, so hopefully the this one is just as good or even better but I won’t be playing it as much yet.
Going to buy Alan wake remaster(since it’s on sale) which will be my Halloween game lol. My friend and I are going to play it together since we promised we would. I heard the switch version was terrible but the patches seemed to have fixed most problems now.
For non Nintendo systems, maybe drakengard 3 again. Lol
@UltimateOtaku91 that’s true. I don’t disagree that the majority seems to like the botw open world concept but for totk, the fatigue of a big open world seems like it started to set in. Totk sales slowed down a lot after a few months of launch. It’s launch of course was amazing but it slowed down to a point that even I thought was odd for probably the most anticipated sequel. Also lots of people after playing botw noted that the dungeons in it were pretty terrible and wanted traditional dungeons at least in totk. Totk did get that though which was good. So some people definitely want the traditional too in Zelda games. We are kinda of seeing it in eow which is cool but I don’t like that you can go through puzzles(like totk). Just my opinion.
Like what you are saying, I do think that traditional and open world Zelda games can both be developed. My friends and I think they could still do open world 3D Zelda, 3D traditional Zelda, and 2d Zelda in the future. As hard as that seems. Also going off by aonuma’s comments it seems botw style gameplay and everything like that is done with totk. Looks like they are going to evolve it further with the next big title. Whenever that comes out lol
@UltimateOtaku91 speak for yourself. I rather have traditional ones then a big open world. Totk shows the fatigue that a big open world that’s technically the same from the first game only bigger and a long game at that can turn some people off after a while. traditional to me is better although that’s my opinion but I am definitely getting tired of open world Zelda. Eow seems ok but it’s clearly totk in 2d from what I have got.
Pretty good showing. On this list, the games I am getting are fantasian and probably dragon quest 3. Maybe sonic generations much later down the line if I have time lol.
Definitely want fantasian ever since I saw it but didn’t want to touch Apple Arcade lol. I hope it’s good on switch.
I know Zelda is out but I am not getting it until closer to holidays like December. I am not that thrilled to play this one but I hope I can still enjoy it I guess.
Otherwise I am still playing the same games as the past few weeks. Octopath traveler 2 is the main switch game I am playing. Pretty much the only game I am playing now. I am at everyone’s final chapters for the main game. Can’t wait to see how it ends for each character. Got to also grind for that dang true final super boss. Ugh
As for non switch games, still playing drakengard 3. If I get around to it.
@Bobb same here. Lol. Doesn’t help that this jrpg is a long one if it is the exact same from the Apple Arcade version. Ughh. I hope it’s good. Heard some good things about this one
Pretty much the same for me this week as usual. 😂. Octopath traveler 2 is my main game. Finishing up people’s chapter 2’s and some chapter 3’s. On Hikari’s chapter 3 now.
Did play and finished the reynatis demo just a little while ago. It sadly isn’t that great although I kinda of expected that. 😂. Don’t know if I will get it. Probably later down the line as the combat has potential. But the demo ran awful towards the end. Even crashed.
For non switch, I probably will go do some drakengard 3.
The performance issues are not only on switch though. They are on pc as well for sure. Not sure if it crashed as much as switch but it’s not good on pc at all. I think the same with ps4 and ps5 but I haven’t checked it out much.
It is a shame this game is in this state. I feel like it definitely could have been a great game if most of these areas are fixed like the writing, graphics and performance. Maybe change the gameplay a little too. But this is furyu afterall. They don’t really release a lot of killer titles. Very little has stand out as a matter of fact for them. I don’t ever usually buy from them after playing a few of their games because they were all mediocre and suffered from a myriad of problems. I want furyu to do better but I don’t think it’s going to happen.
@anoyonmus it’s not a straight port though. It’s a remaster. I don’t know how much it’s upgraded from the original though but if the graphics and performance got a upgrade then it’s probably the reason why it’s struggling on switch. Probably.
Same stuff for me this weekend. 😂. I finished the card en ciel demo a little while ago and I like it. I don’t know if I will buy it day 1 since there is no physical US release but it might happen later. Got other games to get down first anyways.
Working on everyone’s chapter 2’s in octopath traveler 2. There is a lot. 😂. Good thing I finished all characters chapter 1’s.
For non Nintendo systems, just trying to finish drakengard 3.
I do agree with sakurai on this. Glad he mentioned it. I don’t really see game developers mentioning this. This might be my problem because I play a lot of jrpg which are usually long and there’s the botw totk stuff that’s too time consuming to me. Especially since they are essentially the same game to me in some ways. Didn’t even attempt to do a lot on totk. Lol. But I digress. My way to handle this is if I have a long game to tackle, then I want to make sure I have a short game or 2 to play along with it. Preferably different gameplay from the long game. That way I keep things fresh even while doing a long game and avoid burnout.

@GregamanX Nier is a 10 out of 10 for sure. It picks up more later.
Re: Rumour: Latest Switch 2 Theory Suggests Release Date Might Be Right Around The Corner

@John_Deacon most of the time yes for coding it in. However if the game has a dynamic resolution and unlocked framerate then it will get a performance boost automatically on more powerful hardware. Some switch games do have this but lots of them don’t too. I do agree that Nintendo didn’t have its best year and it isn’t a huge deal especially with switch 2 coming. Got a lot of backlog anyway which most people or gamers rather should have.
Re: Nintendo Places Outside Top 20 In Metacritic's 15th Annual Game Publisher Rankings
Re: Video: 12 Exciting New Games Coming To Nintendo Switch In March 2025
Xenoblade X of course for me. Even pre ordered it. Atelier yumia looks really good. I think I might get that but I will wait for reviews and such. Another game that is coming out this month that’s not on the list that I most likely will get us the ever 17 bundle. A precursor/prototype to the zero escape games.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st March)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (22nd February)
Maybe do some chaos head Noah if I can.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th February)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (1st February)
Rough week. Ugh.
Still not liking the game much 😂
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (25th January)
I am still playing:
Hopefully it picks up
Re: Where To Pre-Order Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition On Switch
@UltimateOtaku91 Bayonetta and Tokyo mirage sessions and astral chain(now) are Nintendo games. Well Bayonetta 1 is multiplat though. Live a live was exclusive to Nintendo for a long time until the remake but that doesn’t count
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (18th January)
Hopefully it picks up
Re: Random: Switch 2 Leakers Called Out By Industry Veteran Hideki Kamiya
Kamiya needs to tone it down sometimes. I agree with him in a small part on this but this specific matter about the switch 2 was going to happen anyway. Leaks happen. Just get over it. Sorry to say that but I am not sorry lol
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th January)
@BodkinDQ unicorn overlord released in 2024
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (11th January)
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Games Of 2024
Very interesting and cool that unicorn overlord made it to the top.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Christmas 2024 Edition)
Happy holidays everyone!
Re: Sorry, But There Are "Currently No Plans" For A Unicorn Overlord Sequel Or DLC
Re: Feature: Nintendo Switch Year In Review 2024 - Our Most Played Games
Mine is 25 games at around 1000 hours. Yeah. Kinda of crazy 😂.
Top 3 games I played were:
Fire emblem engage
Octopath traveler 2
Fortnite(but I play for friends and family.)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th December)
It’s been a while since I posted anything. But I am not doing much gaming besides playing a little Mario party jamboree maybe. Some chaos head Noah probably. And on the 3ds side, bravely default 1 which I want to finish so I can be done with finally ughh. I am not liking that game much at all.
Re: Poll: It's Almost Time For The Game Awards, But Are You Expecting Much Switch News?
Re: Rate Your Favourite Switch Games Of The Year 2024
I usually have my own personal game of the year awards with myself and a friend. We rate all games we played throughout the year no matter the year they came out. My nominations list is:
Super Mario wonder
Fire emblem engage
Star ocean 2 the second story R
13 sentinels
Paper Mario the thousand year door
Octopath traveler 2
Voice of cards: the forsaken maiden
Re: Piggyback And Nintendo Are Teaming Up On A Metroid Prime Art Book, And It Looks Glorious
@gcunit other m isn’t a prime game. It takes place in the regular/main Metroid series and is set after super Metroid but before fusion I believe
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (23rd November)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (16th November)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (9th November)
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Mario & Luigi: Brothership
@AJWolfTill I was saying in a general sense. They don’t bash all the time, mainly botw is like the one of the very few games they praise a lot when it released. But after all that I saw from ign, they still have a bit of an “attitude” towards Nintendo. You can say whatever you want. It’s your opinion. But from what I’ve seen from them, I still stand by what I said.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Mario & Luigi: Brothership
It’s ign. They are usually like this to Nintendo and it’s games. Not all the time but they used to be during the Wii U days and before them. I stopped taking them seriously years ago even though they used to be my favorite news site for games way back then.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (2nd November)
Re: So, Will You Be Getting Xenoblade Chronicles X For Switch?
Didn’t finish it on my Wii U(still only in the beginning of it) since it was annoying to set the game up all the time lol. Will most likely be buying it day 1 but a couple of things might hold me back from buying it day 1. Like is it going to have switch 2 enhancements when it comes out or whatever and will it have Japanese voices in addition to the English ones(which I think it will most likely given the past titles on switch).
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Super Mario Party Jamboree?
I haven’t tried all the side modes and haven’t played all the boards yet but I think this is an ok Mario party. Not the best but not the worst. Definitely better then the super Mario party but not as good as superstars, the last one. Some of the new mini games, including the motion ones are not good. However there are some really fun ones on there. I am mixed on this. Maybe it will get better but I am not liking how they combined both of the last Mario parties together. Some mini games are not playable when using a pro controller which sucks. Not a lot of mini games as I thought. Glad they brought back some mini games from past games though
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (19th October)
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (12th October)
Re: Saudi Public Investment Fund Considering Increasing Its Stake In Nintendo
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (5th October)
Lol
Re: Japanese Charts: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Trounces The Competition
Re: Japanese Charts: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Trounces The Competition
@UltimateOtaku91 speak for yourself. I rather have traditional ones then a big open world. Totk shows the fatigue that a big open world that’s technically the same from the first game only bigger and a long game at that can turn some people off after a while. traditional to me is better although that’s my opinion but I am definitely getting tired of open world Zelda. Eow seems ok but it’s clearly totk in 2d from what I have got.
Re: Feature: Here's 10 Games We Played At TGS 2024 Coming To Switch
Pretty good showing. On this list, the games I am getting are fantasian and probably dragon quest 3. Maybe sonic generations much later down the line if I have time lol.
Definitely want fantasian ever since I saw it but didn’t want to touch Apple Arcade lol. I hope it’s good on switch.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (28th September)
Re: Fantasian Neo Dimension Releases On Switch December 2024
@Bobb same here. Lol. Doesn’t help that this jrpg is a long one if it is the exact same from the Apple Arcade version. Ughh. I hope it’s good. Heard some good things about this one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (21st September)
Re: Review: REYNATIS (Switch) - Underbaked Action-RPG Fare That Plays Rough On Switch
Re: Sony's PlayStation Vita Exclusive Freedom Wars Is Getting Remastered For Switch
@anoyonmus it’s not a straight port though. It’s a remaster. I don’t know how much it’s upgraded from the original though but if the graphics and performance got a upgrade then it’s probably the reason why it’s struggling on switch. Probably.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (14th September)
Re: Random: "The Time Players Spend In A Game Is A Cost" - Sakurai Talks Long Runtimes
