"Continue To Carve A Niche That's All Its Own" Yes, please continue to be a mobile/last gen port machine with a bi-annual spin-off sports game or first party title.
@riccyjay Remember in school when you had to write a paper and had to meet a length requirement, so you had one paragraph left and filled it with a bunch of summaries that you went over already in the paper, and added some nonsense words, hoping the person grading it had already checked out? Yeah, that happens a lot here.
@Pandaman RIght, because your title, sub-header, and thumbnail would in no way, shape, or form be considered clickbait for the masses to run to the comments to start talking about Destiny on Switch
I'd be checking some performance reviews before making a purchase honestly. In my experience Squeenix has a bad habit of porting games to new platforms and not really doing a thorough amount of testing.
Expensive, fragile, and as others have mentioned and I've experienced, they belong in a Fast and Furious movie with the amount of drift they have. Between these and the lackluster Dpad on the Pro controller, I've never been so disappointed in Nintendo controllers before. That includes the N64 controller.
From today onwards, especially after yesterday's clickbait, if I see Liam in the title, I'm bouncing. I'd like to hope others start doing the same, and maybe after his clickbait articles stop bringing in comments, they can boot him out of here and get a REAL journalist in here to restore some integrity to this site. Nintendoeverything.com in the mean time.
Thank you @electrolite77 for bringing the full story, it's a shame it will be buried in the chaos that is this comments section when garbage "articles" like this one are allowed to be published in order to rile everyone up and get dem clicks rolling in.
@ilikeike It's a 6 year old game going for double, or some cases triple what it does on other platforms. They'd be lynched if they DIDN'T include the same content and some kind of bonus for the Switch version.
@locky-mavo What, you mean all of the copy-pasted clickbait articles that have zero research done to check their sources and typos galore in the few parts that aren't
The amount of clickbait/fanboy fueling articles sure has gone up this year, definitely not a good thing for those of us that don't enjoy sifting through them to find feature pieces that @Damo and others seem to put a decent amount of time and effort into.
@VotesForCows Yeah they pretty much ripped everything word for word (and pic for pic) from the backer email....except the Mac and Linux drop.
@jobvd As someone who has played both demos that have been released, I can say it's just not going to happen. It may not live up to SOTN, but it certainly won't be a flop like No.9.
Sonic fans have endured several disappointments and shi**y games over the years, I think for many this movie was the straw that broke the hedgehog's back.
All I can picture is Nintendo's lawyer in court with a Cappy hat, trying to throw it on the judge to take over their body and make the ruling "case is dismissed, please understand."
Seems like these types of "games" would be best experienced in VR, where you at least have a bit of immersion in the world instead of just walking around with a controller.
Regular control options please. I'd rather not buy an extra set of joycons since I have one of the left joycons that malfunctions more than 5 feet away from the unit.
Well yeah of course, Sony is approaching 100 million units sold, is at the end of it's current gen lifecycle, and doesn't have any blockbusters set until the middle or end of next year. If Nintendo DOESN'T gain some ground at this point, that means they're going to make some pretty big mistakes in the upcoming months.
@Frenean This site has turned into flame/clickbait central since Thomas left. Any headline/typo/poor reporting to get people frothing and start clicking and spamming terrible comments.
The water Pokemon line is just a test to see if you scroll past the article and go straight to the comments, right NL? A test we receive every day, in multiple articles, through an obvious lack of anyone here proofreading their work
33% is not "huge" in any way, shape, or form. Why is it that games like God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn are discounted so heavily, but Nintendo games aren't? They would sell way more.
So basically, don't listen to the words from these people on the internet, listen to the words from THESE people instead? God these soapboxes are looking awfully wobbly.......
I mean, it looks good on Switch, but it could definitely look a lot better. Stretched out on a 55 inch TV it still looks dated. Here's hoping they have the ability to kick things up a notch for the actual Switch exclusive release.

Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Global Sales Passed Five Million In Just One Week, Says Nintendo President
@Anti-Matter Maybe you shouldn't egg people on given your habit of also spewing toxic comments regarding anything not cute and cuddly.
Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Global Sales Passed Five Million In Just One Week, Says Nintendo President
Normie games tend to sell well, that's for sure.
Re: Hardware Review: Insurrection Industries Carby - GameCube HDMI Support On A Budget
I think I'll just keep my options open on home brewing my Wiiu.

Re: Awesome Games Done Quick Raises An Amazing $2.39m For Charity
Wow, I was expecting a clickbait headline like "Nintendo games raise 2.39 million for charity" but this is neutral. Color me surprised

@rjejr Sorry for the ninja, I'm on my sarcasm game today apparently. Hope you feel better soon!

Re: Review: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe - Nintendo Plays It Safe With This Timely Reissue
Thought about picking it up, but they're out of their minds charging $60. No way. $30 at most.

Should say "Now THAT the Nintendo Switch is a proven success after being on the market for nearly two years"
Happy 2019, make a resolution to proofread before posting an article
Re: Nintendo President Believes Switch Can Meet Sales Goal Before End Of Fiscal Year
That guy looks like the star of a Japanese version of the movie Big.

Re: Feature: Nintendo's 2018: A Remarkable Year In Review
Pretty meh year for me, as most of the indies/ports I already own on PC/PS4, and I'm not a fan of smash or playing online.
This was certainly the year for excellent single player PS4 games, no question there.
Re: Atlus Teases Persona 5 R, More Information To Be Revealed March 2019
@Rika_Yoshitake But that would defeat the purpose of it being clickbait, and would give Liam nothing to write about!
Re: Valve Reveals Steam's Top Played Games With A Switch Pro Controller
Yeah I'll stick with my Xbox elite controller thanks. I actually wish I could get it working with the switch so I could ditch the pro controller.

Re: Persona 5 Switch Rumours Intensify
Positing rumors as news is almost as bad as telling people to use water Pokemon against electric Pokemon

@shani Author is a stretch. Tabloid sh*tposter is more in line with what he creates.
Re: Switch Has Outsold The Original And Slim PlayStation 4 In Japan
Why is the night shift clickbait writer writing clickbait articles during the day?
Re: An Official Sonic Movie Twitter Account Has Opened, Immediately Jokes With Angry Fans

Missing a period at the end of your fourth paragraph. Another quality Liam Doolan article
Re: Reggie: Don't Expect Nintendo Switch Online To "Mirror" The Competition
I think at this point it's safe to say Cobalt is anti-matter's troll account
Re: Random: Twitch Streamer Plays Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Using A Bunch Of Bananas
Is he still using bananas? He's been doing this for years. It was impressive the first time seeing it I guess......
Re: Video: SNES Classic Runs PSone Games Better Than The PlayStation Classic
Sony picked the worst time to try and pull a Nintendo and use underpowered hardware in one of their machines
Re: Review: Guacamelee! 2 - A Fun-Packed And Often Relentlessness Metroidvania
Review is invalid until you fix the extremely obvious typo.
Re: Here Are The Game Awards 2018 Winners For Nintendo Switch
Except both of these games are also on other platforms so....inaccurate headline. There's also several other multiplatform games that won too.
Re: Capcom Is Working On A Mystery Game That Will Surprise Fans
RE4 HD for switch, duh. Fortnite and Skyrim are trying to take RE4's title as "3D game ported to most systems" so they need to defend the belt.
Re: TIME Recognises Nintendo Labo As One Of The Best Inventions of 2018
Great, I can't wait for Miyamoto to use this as a reason to start making Nintendo teams incorporate labo into Mario and Zelda main entries.

Re: Get Discounts On Lots Of Zelda Titles And Some Lovely Smash Ultimate Goodies In North America
Switch has been out for nearly two years, the Wii u has been dead almost as long. Let that sink in when looking at these "rewards".
Re: Feature: SNES Classic Edition Vs. PlayStation Classic - Which One Should You Choose?
The NES and SNES classics allowed me to finally retire my Wii. The PS1 classic gave me plenty of reasons to skip it and keep my PS3 plugged in.

Re: Nintendo Switch Was The Best-Selling Console On Cyber Monday
Think of how much more software they would sell if they actually, you know, gave their best sellers an actual worthwhile discount.
Re: Saints Row: The Third Brings The Full Package To Nintendo Switch Next Year
@Mgene15 Spoiler: too much.
Re: Eiji Aonuma Wants Players To Decide How Breath Of The Wild Connects To Existing Zelda Timeline

Re: Dev Behind Darksiders II For Wii U Worked On An E3 Demo Nintendo Never Showed
Sounds like they should've had a contract of some sort drawn up instead of a verbal agreement. That's a lot of work hours for nothing.
