@BlueOcean I never said they didn't, and I own all three consoles and have great games for each. This mud slinging contest (which is one sided considering Sony already said deal with it) is just getting old and ridiculous. And if you believe for one second that this TV ad would even exist if either Nintendo or MS was in the lead, man I feel sorry for you!

That's actually surprising to me considering all the really great games that were announced and shown other than....another Smash Bros. Are we sure it wasn't the largest amount of tweets because people were saying "enough Smash Bros, where's the other games for the year"

This is an awful large salt pile for a fad that will be forgotten about by this time in 3 months!

Jumped on this again at $15, and I will say they did a fantastic job on the port. Runs well, haven't had any major issues, and looks good on the small screen (minus the tiny text). GET. THIS. GAME.

Didn't really see any highs to speak of, especially for those of us who aren't really into SSMB.

These deals are, as usual, not very good. To compare, I just picked up South Park Fractured Gold Edition on PS4's E3 sale for $30, while on Switch it's $70. Yikes.

So if they don't add controls to be accessible by everyone, can we expect several "Nintendo isn't consumer friendly" comments and clickbait articles

Between RE7, DMC5, RE2 remake, and this, Capcom is quickly becoming my favorite developer (once again).

I was interested until forced motion controls and full price. I'll be patient and wait for the actual switch pokemon game to see if they screw that one up as well.

I'm not that interested anymore, Nintendo of America can bring preorders here. They really need to get their collective s*** together on these mini consoles.

Honestly this "deal" is pretty meh, they'd have better luck selling a "home console" package. Take out the joycons, throw in the dock, hdmi, charging adapter, and a pro controller, knock $50 off, and bam, console competitor.

Did it really blow them away that their game sold more in a closed ecosystem of a couple hundred games than on a platform that releases thousands of indie games a year? Really?

I don't think i would buy an N64 classic to be honest, but mainly because I have the carts of the best games of the system already. I really don't enjoy the controller though, and I could see them charging another $80 for even fewer games based on the way they jumped up from NES to SNES mini.

Lost me there. MM5, 6, and 10 are easily worse than MM8 by a long shot. My opinion of course, but it really sounds like a classic case of this being the first time the reviewer has ever played MM8, and was thrown off by the (mostly) positive changes.

In all honesty, who wanted it on Switch? Every time COD is mentioned, Nintendo die hards turn up their noses like someone just pooped on their Wind Waker WiiU.

I was thinking about buying this right away to support the devs, but I'm going to wait and see how it is performance-wise. It ran ok for the most part on PC, but there was a lot of bugs (pun not intended) and framerate problems that were pretty frustrating.

It's an OK game, but very easy and very short for the price. I completed it in about 4 hours and there wasn't much motivation to jump in for another playthrough.

We're not seriously trying to compare what Sony and MS offered a decade ago to what Nintendo is doing now, are we? That's an awfully dirty and busted soapbox you're standing on. They can't even give us decent local save backup options (something other consoles have had for years) or throw voice chat on the system, but they're going to charge for cloud saves, and their less than stellar online MP system? Yikes.

I haven't played a single switch game online, and I have enough retro games through classic emulators, i think i'm gonna pass on this. Good for those that play online and don't have these games though

Classic Nintendo, making the perfect VC machine and then throwing away a great opportunity. Guess I'll be holding onto my wii forever.

Not bad, a dollar a game per year with more to come. Maybe they'll eventually roll out a "pick 20 for $20" when they get enough VC games on the Switch.

I agree. It's very hard to stand out on Steam nowadays, this was their smartest move.

Of the very few times I actually tried using the joycons while my pro controller was charging, I did have the left joycon issue. Which pretty much made it so i'll never let my pro controller die again. Joycons suck.

Their recent foray into "improving" the My Nintendo program has me thinking this has a high probability of crashing and burning right out the gate.

Three local stores I've been to this weekend had all of their Labo in stock still. Not catching on very well in my area apparently.

This is truly a fantastic game. I've had it on steam for over a year and it's evolution from early concept to final game is amazing. Lots of challenge, great gameplay mechanics, and several upgrades make this the game mighty number 9 could never be

$30 for wild guns, really? It's a decent game, but being that old at that price for it's short length and limited gameplay is about $20 too much.

Yet another clickbait console war article. Imagine how much room there would be for some quality articles if it wasn't clogged with all of this garbage.

Eh, I've got my wii, wii u, and snes mini, not really interested in triple dipping on old games.

This was probably the lesser of two evils for Sega to be honest. Their other option would've been have nintendo themselves make it, but then there wouldn't be enough supply to meet demand, and they would've gone with short cords and a dumb proprietary controller port.

Have they confirmed it's the remastered version coming to Switch? The video posted was for the original PS4 announcement, so that really doesn't tell us anything.....

Sounds enticing, but I'll hold out for the Mega pack that's coming to other consoles. Unless they're like, $3 apiece, then I'll bite on a few.
