Currently playing XC2,fantastic game,have struggled to find a good method for unlocking rare blades though. 90hrs in and at the world tree now. Not sure how much there is left to go but I'm certainly enjoying it. I'll be jumping straight into Torna once finished so i doubt i'll get the XCDE for a while yet. Love the worlds in these games

@carlos82 is it worth getting the full collection of borderlands or just the handsome collection? I've never played them,so would I be missing out storywise if I didn't bother with the original borderlands?

@Mamabear Not sure that's true. Not all of the first game is on the cartridge either. Pretty sure there's a download for that also,which just shows how much they really cheaped out on the physical release. I'll have to find out to be sure

Really looking to get these but the price is too high. Bioshock collection as well, but until they implement gyro I'm swerving that

@Chimera_Police you can find it cheaper physical anyway. some of these 'sale' prices are ridiculous. Just checked and darksiders genesis you can buy physical on base.com for £18.85. I assume you're in the UK?

@mesome713 well of all the FPS that have released this week I would say this is smack at the bottom of the list to pick up. bioshock and borderlands are far more appealing and worth the investment. I'm not a graphics snob but I draw the line at something this terrible,but to each their own I guess. if future patches manage to work miracles and get it somewhere near to how DOOM is on the Switch I'll jump in

@Dang69 I agree that panic button have shown what they can do with previous impressive ports. I just find the silence about it a bit concerning now after seeing this

@the_beaver pretty sure DF stated it was with the day one patch in their review. I may be wrong but even so,a day one patch of 6gb is not something to praise

Not sure how the combat can fast,flexible and fun at 15-20fps 🤔.....oh well 😅

8 out of 10,just don't mention the 15fps on a consistent basis 😄. I'm genuinely concerned about DOOM Eternal now. We've seen nothing and that's speaks volumes

@LeonKennedy I wouldn't bet on them doing anything. Their whole attitude towards the Switch is,do the bare minimum and charge an arm and leg for their efforts

Just ordered at argos for £39.99 and I'll be collecting it tomorrow. Won't be playing for a while though as I'm 50hrs or so in XC2. Then probably Torna after that before i get to XCDE so it'll be a while 😬. On top of that,my kids have hijacked the Switch and ps4 to play fortnite with each other and their friends 😖

@Dragonslacker1 I'm saving a 100gb storage by not buying that crap,so that's a win for me 😁

For me this definitive edition should have been better. pop in and dynamic resolution on a 10 year old Wii game is, for me, a bit disappointing.XCX seems to be the best they've made Xenoblade look on the WiiU. I love the art direction,but why are the trees static for example? Love the world's monolith soft create but can't help feel they don't know how to get the best out of the switch. I will pick this up once I've finished XC2 & Torna though

Galaxy 1 is probably my favourite Mario game of all time. Galaxy 2 was fantastic too. I'd love to see them do a 3rd rather than port them

Borderlands and BioShock I would have bought day one if everything was on the cartridges. Now I guess they'll be put on the watch list to wait for a sale. Either put everything out on a physical version or don't bother with a physical version at all. The physical versions automatically become null and void when 60% of the content isn't even on it. Pointless

@NoNoseNosferatu Agreed. Mass Effect trilogy and Dead Space 1&2 (you can keep 3) are the only things that would make me give EA money,for the first time in around 9 years

@RickD The irony is that the original franchise from Lucas is,and will always remain (Brilliant and loved),separate from the complete wreck that Disney had reduced this franchise to. They destroyed this franchise and are now clasping at straws and it's their own doing

Just starting chapter 4 in XC2. I'll be playing that for weeks to come I think 😀

@TheRealKyleHyde Not really. iI believe it's more to do with the current situation and that now, more than ever, they aren't getting the attention they want or crave. celebrities especially are desperate, with how irrelevant they are in people's lives. you think they'd even consider this if all our lives were carrying on as normal? I very much doubt it. any media attention they can use to get public exposure, they'll lap it up at the moment. Maybe that sounds cynical but then I have no interest whatsoever in celebrities and couldn't care less about any of them. Other than that,Mario tennis is pretty good 😉

Capcom do not see the Switch as an important platform. 3 years in and what have they put on the Switch? nothing but old games that they overcharge for. Put your money where your mouth is Capcom. Get Monster Hunter on the Switch, then I might give a damn what you say

Love F-Zero GX. Possibly my favourite racer ever. hard as nails in places though

About to start XC2. I have torna as well. Is it worth using the code right away for the extras?

over 250 hours on this. I've managed to complete it once. I get to last boss on BC1 and i just get ruined everytime. Still a great game to go back to every now and then though. Well worth the price

Don't pay for the online so don't play anymore. No incentive to pay for the online as far as I'm concerned

The best deal is MH4U on 3DS. Resident Evil games reduced to what they should be normal price the most. UK eshop should see something similar soon too maybe

Alien Isolation seems to be all that's interesting in this. Had my eye on that for a while. Hung on for this long, hoping for a physical copy, but doesn't look likely at this point so may jump on it

Would like to pick up Ni No Kuni as I've heard its pretty good,but for that price I can get the physical copy, so what's the point? I'll never understand how digital downloads are always more money

RE2 remake was fantastic. RE3 not so much from what I've read. It should have been a DLC release for RE2 as it's over that quickly. Whatever Crapcom decide to do with RE4 it won't be on the Switch,so this is pointless anyway. The Switch is the console for their overpriced,don't give a crap ports

Resident evil games will still be massively overpriced even on sale. Don't know how Capcom can keep a straight face charging the ludicrous prices they do for those old games. Just for once I'd like to see Salt and Sanctuary in a damn sale!

@Cynas Dig 2 is better than the first in every way. great game. the only one I don't have is quest,just not sure if I'd like the whole turn based card game. I cant really even get on with Gwent in the witcher either

I'll have to wait a bit longer, as getting it as part of my pre-order for DOOM Eternal on SWITCH,so no buy from me. I'm hoping that wait won't be too long

Currently playing through DOOM 2016 on nightmare mode 😬 (it's no joke!) preordered DOOM Eternal on Switch and cant wait to get more DOOM. It really is a staple of any gamers library,or should be!
ID Software,along with CDPR, are showing what fantastic third party devs are all about. I can't wait to jump into DOOM Eternal

I don't seem to have much interest in a ps5. I have a ps4 pro and I'm sure there is more that developers could do with it. the games still look fantastic and I don't even have a 4k tv. The constant pursuit of wanting to be a pc wannabe is getting boring. if you think about it PlayStation is still exactly what it is from the first one. same controller (more or less) and just add more power with each generation. it may be the generation in which I skip the new machine. every game is going to be 100gb minimum,it's getting kind of ridiculous

I loved this game on my N64. had such a foreboding atmosphere. Voice acting was very hamed up though 😆

I never got to finish this game. I'll have to get back to it at some point, but may have to start again 😄. Definitely worth that price though
