Its kind of ***** just how joycon are still being priced this high after over 4 years. Not to mention the fact that joycon drift is still an issue after over 4 years. I want them but I'm not willing to be bent over and f@$%ed for the privilege of having them

@sixrings I'm not disputing its a good port,because it clearly is. It just doesn't sit right with me that we're expected to pay double the price even when it's in a sale on switch, when I can pick it up on ps4 for a third of the price. I want to support third party content on switch its difficult to justify it when you're being bent over a barrel

@aresius yes I get that its a good game,thats why I'd like to get it on switch. but out of principal,I think its ridiculous that I'd have to pay twice the price than other platforms even when it's in a sale.

I want to buy this on switch,but even now its more than twice the price than it is on other platforms. Getting pretty sick of the Switch tax to be honest. Especially when it comes down to download only titles

Just to put it into perspective. I bought DOOM 2016 & DOOM Eternal on ps4 for less than £20 for both. I bought DOOM 2016 on switch at launch,whilst on holiday in florida, for $60. I had DOOM Eternal preordered (physical)for switch in March for £38. Now if I want it on Switch I have to pay £50. So £20 for both games on ps4 or over £100 to get them both on Switch. That's got to be the perfect example of the Switch tax we all know

The Last of Us part 2. Seeing as it 'won' plenty of awards it didn't deserve,may as well give it the best Nintendo game too 😄. Joking aside 😏,I'd say Hades,as I'm not into Animal Crossing

Had it preordered,cancelled it and bought the ps4 version for less than £15. Won't entertain getting it on Switch now unless there is a big discount. They dropped the ball not releasing it physical

DQ11 is another one in my backlog too😄. I've lent that to my daughter currently as she liked the look of it. I might check out a few more reviews on Crysis before I decide

what a joke. whats more insulting is that they know people are stupid enough to believe their 'sales' are good deals. I bought the sWitcher 3 for less than that on release day. Nintendo's own sales on their UK store are just as ridiculous. There are no deals anywhere worth caring about as far as I can tell. But then why would they need to try to be competitive this year? no one can go to shops,so online can bump the prices beforehand anyway they like

absolute bull💩. I've had this preordered since March. I bought a ps4 copy couple of days ago for £11. I think this will be the way forward for anything this ambitious on the Switch,digital only

@FargusPelagius I can agree that may be the case that it gets tedious on higher difficulty because of being low level,but as I say,I've never taken to the warriors style gameplay. I'll give the demo another go on lower difficulty maybe. Like I say,I want to like it because of the source material and I'm sure it will sell well because if that anyway

@SortingHat I did play the demo on hard difficulty which would make the fights last longer,so tedium did set in quickly because of that for me. I've never really been interested in the warriors game design and gameplay so its no surprise I didn't take to this either,despite the interest I have in the story. Still,I'm glad there are many people looking forward to it

@TheFullAndy Yes same for me. I wanted to like it because of the source material,but I just can't get into the warriors style games. Finding out the story elements are the only pull for me. Glad others are looking forward to it though

With the new gen consoles stocks being woefully short and unable to meet demand,you'd think Nintendo would want to capitalise for the Xmas rush not just black Friday deals. They need to extend these sale prices for the next month. I'd be more interested if there were great sales on software though

don't like warriors games and the demo did nothing to change my mind. I'll watch all the story cutscenes on YouTube instead

@Jayofmaya don't get me wrong I really like the trilogy. ME2 is one of the best games I've played. I enjoyed 3 too even with that ending. I ended up playing the first one last as I didn't have an xbox and it only came to the ps3 after the others. it felt jarring then going to that after 2&3. Ironically I've boycotted EA since my last game I bought of theirs new,was Mass Effect 3 on ps3. Once they had purposely removed important necessary content from the main game and sold it separate as the From Ashes dlc,I could see the way they were going to go in future and I decided then they wouldn't get anymore of my money. So I'm torn as to whether I'll get this on my ps4 or just wait to get a used copy is more likely 😄

EA just being EA. This is a huge miss for the Switch. There is no way these are too demanding for the system.I still have them all,I just can't be bothered to dig out the ps3 and go through the painstakingly long updates for the system just to play them. I did play a bit of the first one a couple of years ago,and that has not aged well at all. the gameplay is awful in fact

@Shambo I have looked at Bulletstorm too but unfortunately just missed it when it was on sale for around £7. Its definitely one I'll keep an eye out for again though. I would maybe get Crysis at around half the price it is now. I'm looking at No More Heroes too but it'll be another one stacking up the backlog 😄

Every sane person in the world can see the corruption and fraud that has taken place. a guy that can't even put together a coherent sentence or gather more than a handful if people at rallies,all of a sudden amassing votes out of thin air needs to be investigated. is this game on sale yet? feel like I want to play through a FPS and never played crysis, but I've been waiting on a sale

I gave the cloud version a go on 56mb internet. Performance mode is infinitely better than graphics mode. It played well with no issues. However,with the fact that,realistically being able to only play this docked at home,then the better option is to buy the ultimate edition on PS4 for cheaper,as well as actually owning it but also having the next gen upgrade thrown in so its a no brainer. If Switch is your only platform then it could be tempting but not at what they're currently charging for it. Personally i have no interest in supporting a stadia business model. I like to actually own my games

Got to be honest,I've never played a warriors game because they've always come across as mindless button mashers that I have no interest in. The demo has done nothing to change my opinion,regardless of how much I want to like it because of the source material. I guess I'll just watch the cutscene content on YT to fill in the story events of BOTW

if you're interested in this game and have another platform other than switch then get it on that platform. Because its yours for keeps for the same money. plus you get a free update for next gen consoles too

I can't justify the cost of a ps5 currently. I don't have a 4k tv either so it'd be a waste of money. I have a ps4 pro and I'll stick with that until maybe a revision of the ps5. Demons souls remake is the only game I want looking at the games for ps5. Is Demons Souls coming to ps4 at some point as well?

Ni no kuni for £7.99? did I read that right? I was waiting to get a good deal for a physical copy,but I don't think I can turn down the digital download for that price. Alien Isolation is also on my list but its still too much money compared to other platforms

It seems Nintendo have become very arrogant with regards to thinking they can just do lazy crap and people will pay anything for it. Seems like they've been taking tips from EA. I'm done supporting them with ports. Put out new games or my money goes elsewhere

I bought it before the discount ended and with some gold coins,I got it for £15. Not started it yet though. MHGU and allstars has kept me busy enough

I'm more than happy with them just making MHR the best it can possibly be. If they get it running smoothly and looking decent,anything else is a bonus. I know it will consume my gaming time for most of next year. Unless BOTW2 happens as well of course 😏.

Being that its Capcom and the Switch,I can see them trolling us with nothing more than a Monster Hunter Stories sequel,or even worse a port of the first game, instead of a full blown new Monster Hunter game. I would be more than happy to be completely wrong on this but I am setting my bar very low regarding any announcements this afternoon.
